Na why I dey look some arsenal fans offline and online wey go dey reason with some of these trolls. Most of the things they're gaslighting and making it seem insignificant that we did, if they do exact same thing you go shock by their reaction and hype cheesy cheesy
Arsenal is the standard now. One guy wey dey always troll Arsenal confessed days ago. He said he is afraid Arsenal will dominate EPL if Pep should leave. That's why he is happy Arsenal didn't win the league so that Chelsea and United will quickly catch up by the time Pep leaves.

I hardly see Bruno ahead in any attack sef when the formation is flat.

Na Garnacho and Rashford I deh mostly see. Bruno do as if he played pure Am
That United formation was really spot on and I was impressed. Ten Hag did his homework. Just send the ball to the wide ASAP. It opened up City's midfield since most of their players will be backtracking. That was where the second goal came from. Bruno already did the damage before Rodri could recover.

I don't think United used whether 9 or false 9 yesterday. At a point Mainoo was ahead of Bruno.

Those ones you talked about arsenal creating clones shey?

Omorr, dem to resemble these senior players from far view. Too much resemblance.

I watched arsenal last match (extended highlight) on YouTube and omorr, if you see the way dem deh move, e just be like mini version of the senior team. I see person dey move like a Rice, another like Odegaard. I don't even know their names sef.

The only person I know is duberry and the goal he scored is exact same goal Saka scored against Burnley. Same movement, same body feint, same use of right leg shot at the top corner.

They must be really mentoring them well cheesy
Yea... He scored same goal against United recently. That right-footed finish. Those three will get promoted.

Ref don blow final whistle after Katsina equalized. Naija League ain't ready yet, I repeat. Its either they hire Refs from other African Nations or scrap the league.
One of the solutions to this is to separate the league into conferences. Like Northern and Southern conference. Then the top two teams will battle for the final trophy.

For these three, person wey I dey even look forward to sef na duberry.

I don watch the boys game and I'm seeing Saka in him too much. His movements, his decision making, his usage of left and right.

Na just him dey look forward to honestly
Did you watched the video I sent here sometimes ago? It was an U21 games. The way these three moves in that game, you would see some similarities to that of the senior team especially Ode and Saka. I think the mentorship stuff is the reason behind this. Ode dey mentor Nwaneri while Saka is mentoring Duberry.

I would have chosen 4 but Jorginho and rice and Kiwi just made me not to.

Kiwi is not that kinda strong CB (my opinion sha), so he might needs helping hands.

That's where Rice supposed to come in but Jorginho is not Really a ball Carrier to link to Trossard. And I don't think he would really stand in for Rice in helping Kiwi effectively.

Moreover, I no even know that keeper sef grin

So all these reasons just made me ditch team 4. If Tomi was in for Kiwi, I would have considered it very very well
Gbam! You just summarized everything I considered too. Team 2 is too defensive and there is no natural ball carrier in that team. Team 3 na hin worst pass. grin grin grin

BlueRayDick:
Team 1 has a deficiency in the sense that they have so many attackers and just 1 defender . And Ben white even though a good defender , he can’t do a 2-man work .

This reminded me of when I was in primary 5 in a decent private school . Most of our teachers then were Ghanians and they always push us to get the best out of us .

Our class teacher then decided he was going to start a weekly quiz where they will ask questions bothering on current affairs , capital of countries all over the world , history , little bit of science and calculations . They formed like 5 groups and named each group according to a color like orange , purple , blue, green , and white .

Papers were rolled and each class member picked one to decide which group he will fall under . They didn’t want a situation where it will seem like they kept all intelligent people on one side and people struggling on the other . I fell ended up in the purple group and most of the people that are usually known for their academic prowess did too.

But the funny thing is we only won the weekly quiz twice , subsequent ones were won by other groups . The fact that we had so many brilliant students in our group was even a disadvantage because one of the rules to the quiz is that u only have one shot at the answer as a group ,once a member of ur group attempts and miss the answer ; the next group can attempt it and get a bonus mark for it. Our group was always not organized , almost all group members were too overconfident and once we just give a wrong answer out of overconfidence the next group takes it as bonus point . Then I usually don’t like jumping to answer questions even if I know the answer , those who are too forward in my group will just bungle our chances . They only consult me when they don’t have an idea of the answer at all.

That period thought me a great lesson in life that a team may look good on paper but if they are not well balanced they may not achieve anything at all.
Shall we rise and give Professor Blueraydick a round of applause. grin

You're quite right. Too many cooks can spoil the broth.

NFF responsible for U17 failures

How can you appoint a coach less than a month to a major competition

How can you start screening 50 players less than 3 weeks

How can you get them gell as a team

Preparation should have started over one year ago

Now they will blame Manu Garba for the failure when they never started early

We need to go back to national u13, U15 and U17 regional and national competition

That was what produce the like of Kelechi iheanacho ECT we still have his U13 pictures
Even with the best of the best, the outcome wouldn't have been different.

The whole tourney is too shambolic. Like these boys played on Thursday and still played on Saturday ... In a 7 team tourney? Let's not even talk about the pitch.

We all know those NFF people are incompetent.

What do you call talent?

For me talent is potential yet to be realised that needs to be nurtured and developed to become exceptional.

I have talked about the training regime in a lot of the top academies. Kick and rush has been buried and cremated in Englands top football academies it's now about the technical ability merged with athleticism.

Most indeed the larger majority of Nigerian youth players will seem very good in Nigeria. But on arrival in Europe will find huge gaps in their football education. As a consequence they will be lacking in technical ability, game strategy and management as well as decision making.

This is why after doing so well at youth level they just seem to fade away not attaining the higher levels in football.

In addition they end up playing youth football in the academy just to get up to the standard required.

With your proposition in the bold. How do you explain Ademola, Oviemuno, among others scouted at U17 but dropped as not being good enough. Within months they were playing first team football.

You could add Eze to that scouted but dropped.

Then all are remembered when they blow.

We can not get away from our DNA corruption it touches every facet of life in Nigeria. If there is a way to manipulate a situation for pecuniary benefits we will definitely take it. The NFF is not exempt.
