I actually read a report that says Raya and Arsenal already had an agreement in place for Raya to play against Brentford.

keshi is truly a rate gem…same comeback he did with his Mali team at Afcon 2010 against host Angola from 4-0 to 4-4…infact that Mali own pass miracle..they started their 4goals come back from 78mins cos as at 66th min angola was still scoring their goals..Kesi good abeg
What I liked most about him was his discipline. They don't call him big boss for fun. May his soul continue to rest in peace.

FIFA World Cup Largess: Why Super Falcons Got $40, 500, Instead Of $60,000

Nigeria's Super Falcons who represented the country in the 2023 FIFA World Cup in Australia and New Zealand have started getting their largess from the World Soccer governing body.
Just the before the competition, FIFA announced that each player participating in the Mundial will get $30, 000 for group matches and get more as they progress in the competition.

The Nigerian side is entitled to $60,000 because they lost out in the second round of the tournament to England. The football body has started paying the money but to the surprise of the players, they got $40,500 instead of the proposed $60,000. The matter has finally been clarified by FIFA on why the money dropped to $40,500.

Players whose teams were based in Australia for the duration of the tournament are receiving just over two-thirds of the match fees, with the ATO imposing a 32.5% withholding tax.

The imposition of this tax was an integral part of the hosting agreement that FIFA agreed with the Australian government. The tax imposition implies that Nigeria’s players, who reached the last 16, narrowly losing to England, earned $60,000 each but only received $40,500 after the ATO’s deductions.

In contrast, all teams that played their group and knockout matches in New Zealand had no deductions from their match fees. They were given tax-free status by New Zealand’s Internal Revenue Department.
Nonsense...no be FIFA invited them there. Imagine how much they cut off all in the name of ATO.

Yeah Yeah Highlights can really give you the whole details about a Player but will definitely give out some hints on what to expect and his/her Capabilities…

Again I don’t think Pairing her with Ohale will be the rightful choice, instead she should serve as a Backup or an understudy to Osinachi Ohale who’s now the Mama of the Defense…

Osinachi Ohale
Blessing Demehin
Ashleigh Plumptre
Maureen Umeughochukwu and Maybe
Akudo Ogbonna as CB for the SuperFalcons won’t be Bad at all…
Of course...I made that point based on his style of play. Ashleigh and Ohale should be the first choice while Umeh and Tosin back them up.

What Maureen Umeughochukwu Can Bring to the SuperFalcons Center Back Position…

At 21yrs Maureen is physically strong, right-footed Center Back, has good pace and technique, and an eye for goal as she is capable of scoring powerful headers.

She is known for her aggressive playing style, tackling ability and strong aerial presence. Comfortable with the ball at her feet. she is also known for her leadership qualities and passing ability.

Na to Dey put earbuds as if dem Dey vacation.

Respect to super eagles of yesteryears….Oh!Stephen Keshi&co,come and see passions and see players who are ready to die on the field…..I remember Angola vs Nigeria in Luanda which later ended 2-2…Nigeria came from two goals down to level up with goals from Ademola Adeshina and late screamer from Stephen Keshi.

Eagles need real passionate captain to lead the team, against Zimbabwe Boniface was arguing with Iheanacho, very disrespectful from a player with just 5 caps, meaning no discipline.
One of Keshi's best games is that 4-4 draw against Morocco (not sure) during CHAN. That was the match Ejuke Uzoenyi used to grab a WC shirt. What an emotional game. I think we came back from 3 goals down or so.

Ndidi's new playing style is actually a reminiscent of Mikel. Just a little bit of fine tuning on the part of Ndidi in terms of ball rentention and vision.

And we also need his long range shooting back.
Yea... he is improving and I hope he keep it up. Won't be a bad idea if we move him to B2B which will allow Iwobi to move closer to the box where he is most effective for us. Onyedika can be the DM.

She had her chance against Burundi then though but failed to make good first impression. I remember she missed a one on one. After that we had the knock out stages and the era of trying out new players was over.
Rosa and Mcclean both have potential but still quiet average for now and are not yet the all round world class strikers or attackers we need.
That doesn't mean she shouldn't be invited again. You know how many one on one Oshoala missed in GWG colour? And Onumonu is too slow. We don't have a striker abeg...

I have high hopes in Macleans Chinonyerem but injury cut her season shot in Russia , she was the League top scorer from beginning to some extent before she got injured.. She’s getting back to fitness though but the Russian League is almost over..

She’s a typical No.9 , a born Finisher who’s well built for that position. She’s just 23yrs and have a lot of years ahead of her too.. I will give her more minutes ahead of Onumonu for now if she would fit in Properly as I want a typical No.9 who can bully her way through the defense line just like Oparanozie but the good thing is she’s quick..
Alright... I was gutted Randy didn't give her more chance at the last AWCON especially as all other strikers were misfiring

shocked Except you mean win match on their own based on individual brilliance then I can agree with you.

As for Mba's career, it buttresses the point that it is not by "passion"
There were instances in both matches where the players were playing as if nothing was at stake. This doesn't take away the fact that JPest na scam but you would expect these players to at least give more.

I agree it's not by passion alone as most of those we parade now are at least doing well for theirselves.

We really need a typical no.9 that would Finnish those few chances that comes… At least a well built striker of Oparanozie quality at least should be quicker than her ( Finishing, Power, Play with her back toward goal, Free Kicks, penalty, ability to drift wide and good hold play)

Infact we need a Benzema or Halland kind of no.9
What about MacLean? Roosa is another forgotten player. Inasmuch as Oshoala is our queen, we need to let her know she is not indispensable. It is quite sad we have a player like Oshoala and we are still worried about goalscoring.

Maureen Umeh is another player I really wish we could try out. We are kinda thin at the backline. For now, Ohale, Ashleigh and Demehin are the only ones we can point out.

Hopefully, this Glory Edet shines if given minutes to give us another FB option.

That Sulola should have been called up especially since either Onyi or Debbie may not be available.

I have a different view of Ndidi. I think he should be in our defensive setup. I know he has been playing as a midfielder for ages, but I feel his defensive work rate will best suit us if he plays as a center-back. If he is focused on breaking down opposing attacks, I feel he will excel. With his training in midfield, he could even have some defensive ball-playing attributes.
But what would you now say about his recent rejuvenation attack-wise this season? I think we just just let him take up that B2B position. A little improvement in his passes and we might have a player who is a bit similar to Mikel.

To be honest, he made a nice point. I mean, if the coach is flopping, the players we put on the field are capable of winning that match on their own. At least it is Lesotho we're playing. As for his football career, it might just didn't work out for him.

If Kelechi Nwakali is not in the team, Iwobi has to play the deep lying role. Not Aribo or Onyeka. At least Iwobi has the technical ability to lay through passes. I don't see that in Onyeka and Aribo.

Either way, the team needs Kelechi Nwakali.
Another manageable option is Ndidi (with Onyedika at DM)

Wetin u dey talk? Salah is naturally a winger.. he plays as an inverted winger.. Diaz is also 100% a winger.. Jota spent the majority of his career as a winger before joining Liverpool, but he can play as a central forward.. Nunez is a strilee, but his pace and dribbling skills make him able to play on the wing... All 5 of Liverpool's first choice forwards are versatile.. the same cant be said of ours...

You want to tweak the formation and play players in roles they arent technically suited for

NFF can't change the players and the SE is not qualifying for the world cup because the players will never be changed.

Boniface likes to assist and should be playing LW while Moffi plays RW if chukwueze is un-available while Adams plays Striker then Orban plays AM while iwobi plays LCM and Nwakali plays RCM and Ndidi/Onyedika/Yussuf plays DM.

Then Uzoho is permanently banned from the team.
Just look at what you typed.

Rather than suggest good wingers that will push the ones we currently have, you decided to move the strikers around. When did Moffi and Boniface turned to wingers? When last did Orban played as a midfielder?

The funniest thing is you listed 7 outfield players excluding the back 4 and goalkeeper.
