After his goal today against Wolves, Bukayo Saka (36) has now scored more Premier League goals for Arsenal than Cesc Fabregas (35) in 64 less games.

He needs five more to overtake Aaron Ramsey (40) who is next in the list.

Only 13 Arsenal players have scored more goals in the Premier League than Bukayo Saka.

He’s only 22 years old… #afc

Immediately he sat down on the pitch yesterday, fear catch me. Aside Saliba and maybe Gabriel, he is someone I can at least vouch for defensively.

EPL is a league not a national team. Maybe you can say England NT is overrated.

Mikel Arteta says Takehiro Tomiyasu was suffering with fatigue which is why he was taken off against Wolves.

No matter how good she is, she definitely would not be as fast as expected in my opinion. Maybe she does something extra for the team but I'm surprised.
You're right. That was what I thought yesterday when I briefly tuned in to the match. But then we have guys like Akinfenwa who is way bigger but still managed to play for some years.

I watched the Super Falcons coached by our own played some exciting football yesterday! Played players in their preffered positions and making great substitutions at the right time. You could see he knows the players quite well!
Let Peserio go and employ our own.
Finidi George is the right man for the job. Calm and collected!
Dey calm down. The falcons played against Cape Verde!

Not sure why Modo Victor didn't stream. His highlight is the clearest I've seen. He should have streamed for us yesterday. Not sure what is latitude is on copyright but BascoVanVeli could probably use this.

You know I was thinking about it and I must say Randy deserves big credit and I'll explain why.

If any of us was asked to pick a player from the u20 squad as addition to our team truth is Debbie won't probably be top 3 on our list Note that I am not saying she wasn't showing potential or wasn't good, but in terms of priority players like Onyenezide, Sebastian, Taiwo, Demehin had most of the hype. So the mere fact that Randy saw beyond the noise is something quite commendable.

Now to the player she's becoming, what more can I say. She is such a joy to watch. So sad she didn't get a lot of chance at the world cup. But Nigeria just hit the jackpot with her.
You're absolutely right here. I was one of those who felt she was not ready for the big stage when the WC squad discussion sufficed here sometimes ago. My excuse then was that she has Otu, Ayinde and Ucheibe ahead of her. Esther, Demehin and Rofiat were the three players I mentioned then.

Fortunately, she got that US move and everything works out. I really wish Esther can get the same move.
Sports › Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by mostob(m): 6:24pm On Nov 30, 2023
Debbie Abiodun is that midfielder that has been missing in our squad for years. A midfielder who constantly demands for the ball and can confidently use every passes that comes her way brilliantly.

Esther also falls into this category but she needs exposure. I will rank Taiwo Afolabi behind both for now.

Bashirat Amoo and Olise are just pure destroyers. All they do is to secure the defence.

you said a players quality doesn’t translate to what ever he earns in his club

Say the truth for once
I said the quality of a player can not be determined by how much he earns. And that there are good players that earn below mediocre players in some clubs.

I even mentioned Havertz as an example. He is Arsenal's highest earner but he is not as important as Dem Saliba, Saka and Rice.

I think Sancho earns more than Bruno at Man U (correct me if I'm wrong) but Bruno is obviously an integral member of the team.

This argument is similar to some real life experience whereby a certified mechanic would claim to be far better that an apprentice mechanic and would bring out his notebooks on highway to check for a fault whereas d apprentice would av known what is wrong by mere listening.

One thing I av come to realize is that everybody has their own aura, grace and demons but by bit the the three combination have not allow Nwakali to flourish not because he is not a good player but those three have not had a dimension of agreement
Well said bro.

it does, quality players don’t are not cheap

Tell me that good and important player that is one of the lowest earners in his club

Even mediocre players do get a raise in their wages when the management see sign of improvement in their game by tying them down on a long contract with bigger pay check
And there are very good players that earn less than some mediocre players. The amount a player earns is not conclusive enough to determine how good the player is.
