AkinDS: Ajibade cannot win it - her red card will likely disqualify her. Magaia of SA also has 3 goals, so does Cheebak. It will likely be between those 2.
Nnadozie was a huge disappointment for me - comical error against Morocco and her flub against Zambia showed she still has a lot to learn. Why will red card disqualify Ajibade. She had 2 assists and 3 goals. Only checkback comes close with 1 assist and 3 goals. The assists will definitely count before the disciplinary something. |

daveP: What Joe Bonfrere and Westerhof did was what the SAFA did with Ellis. They gave her free hand to scout and bring in local players anywhere, everywhere. That's bound to bring a superb result.
Our two NT coaches are having issues with impositions and influencing IV list. It's not working atall. Yet Nff are too myopic to try something else. Then they keep getting crappy coaches. At least if they flop, they'll be fully convinced it's just them.
I'm on a Twitter space right now and I'm hearing some reasons why Florence was sacked. Nawa o. boss, can you summarize some of the reasons. |

The match felt like a loss to me. WTH was Xavi and the players thinking scoring just once against madrid. Infact, this team is poor...very very poor... One goal against madrid? Nonsense.
BTW shey na this Alonso Laporta wan buy for us? Abeg make we kuku promote one LB from our academy.

Too many times during the tournament, our players were far too static. I’m not sure if it was a coaching or fitness problem coaching. Have you ever watched their training video especially the recovery drill sir? |

Schemerkhiz: Andile Dlamini won the Golden Gloves, They didn't announce any winner for the Golden Boot, Maybe the winner isn't among the two team present there, so it's definitely going to be Rasheedat Ajibade. Ok. At least we didn't go home empty-handed. |

daveP: Taganout 11. She's a fine player. I won't lie, although she knows her Major job is getting crosses in from her wing, her attacking sense is better than our own Wingers in same position. I call her Tigernut .she is highly intelligent. The other winger, that #18 is good too but her arrogance overshadows her ability. |

Chebbak took MVP home. Not bad!!
The trophy is an eyesore. It's has scratches and scath. They can't do better than this ni??
As Swart and Seoponsewe dey jollificating, i now understand better why our 9 titles dey really pain many caf officials.
Congrats to them.
Both finalists go chop am for New Zealand wetin Checkback play sef? Aside from those 2 o 3 setpieces. Maybe if Ajibade and Nnadozie are North African, they would have announced it. Useless people. At the bolded, I won't be shocked if they hide the real (beautiful) trophy. |

Cheebak got the golden triangle (Best Player of the Tourney).
No Top Goal scorer award was announced. Now, I'm asking why? who got the golden glove and the golden boot? Probably our players. Maybe that's why it was not announced. |

2. Suggest the home grown players that would have been called up in place of these FBs. |

CornOak: The CAF administration shout be ashamed of themselves.
1. When Morocco scored, all CAF officials aside from President Motsepe (SA) shouted and jubilated.
2. They added 9 whooping extra minutes - something that never happened throughout the tournament.
3. Obviously, they wanted Morocco to win the cup either by hook or crook.
We have a long way to go. You saw that too? I was surprised really... Like can't these people hide it? I think at this point, the North Africa should be allowed to join their fellow Arab countries. |
Sports › Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by mostob(m): 11:19pm On Jul 23, 2022 |
Come and see how I was jubilating when the referee blew the final whistle. A big shame on CAF, Morocco and the entire North Africa. I specifically saw the rwf signalling 4 mins additional time...how it turned to 9 minutes is just surprising. South Africa might have won the match but the ref win our heart. May God bless that ref. They should console this girl Wella... The best moroccoan player for me...and she con fine too Beauty and brain.

It's official! South Africa defeated Morocco to win their first ever AWCON. A big shame on CAF, Morocco and the North Africa in general. Thank God their 'win by crook' tactics didn't work. I saw the referee signalling the 4th official to add 4 mins extra time but na 9 minutes we saw on the board even when there was not any lengthy stoppage during the match. I repeat, a big shame on them.
Even though, South Africa is our rival but I'm happy for them.....football won today. |

Jodera: Well, na still Sambi go enter loan or settle for Europa/Carling cup.
He'll never be above the pecking order among all those other Midfielders. ESR too will know say him no reach to compete there too Ok.... Anything short of UEL and top 4 finish this season, Arteta should pack his load. |

Jodera: Xhaka will always stay. Arteta loves him diee... Just forget. He might not start but you see staying, he'll stay.
In terms of that list, the person that might be affected probably through loan is Sambi
Zinchenko might bench Tierney in that lb role. I'm suspecting it. Elneny will always be a backup to Partey so his spot isn't in contention. Even ESR know say him position na with Martinelli sef You think Zinchenko is coming to play as a LB? Because he said in his interview that position is one of the things Arteta used to convince him. |

hatakekakashi: They add quality to some positions where we're lean, but we can't really get the best of them. Reason why the most important players for the national teams are usually home borne, the Osihmens, Ndidis, Oshoala, etc. Great....you answered his question already. Our problem is coaching. A good coach will get the best out of a team whether with or without FBs. |

But make we dey see sha with Zinchenko coming in, are you still confident Xhaka will stay? Partey Elneny ESR Odegaard Vieira Sambi Xhaka Report says Arsenal needs to sell one of those before we can sign Tieleman. |

Spy360: When we didthave Saliba, he was the third choice on RCB. Now, he isn't. There's no point keeping a player we know won't play. Defenders are hardly changes during a game. And even if there's a change it is to add to those already on the pitch. Even at that, only one defender is added. Squad depth spy... Squad depth. I gave Man city and Liverpool as an example. I don't know why you feel we should sell Holding. |

GeneralDae: We need an attacking midfielder who is better than Okobi. Okobi wasn't outright bad in this tournament though, she was way above Chikwelu. How did I forget sef? Okobi was playing as an AM yesterday yet there was not a single through pass from her which is poor. We need another AM. |
