lovewins: Methinks Ebi, Rita and Oshoala aren't in this list. Ebi and Rita have stayed this long in the team because they have among other things learnt not to rock the boat. I remember the last time the falcons where delayed for hours at the airport, Ebi did a video on her Instagram story amongst many other players. But when the story gained traction it was alleged that she was one of the persons that decided to play down on it by saying it was being taken out of proportion. Oshoala just a few days ago was praising the NFF president a day after her colleagues had to sit out training cause of non-payment of bonuses. Don't forget she was a direct beneficiary of Oparanozie being stripped of the captaincy. I think she is very diplomatic which isn't a bad thing really, but I don't see are as someone who will go head to head with authority. well, I may be wrong. |

Please where are our in-house statisticians and analysts? Abdulazeez or Azeez ...forgot the moniker. I have a couple of questions I'd like to tender here.
1. What are the long term implications of these levers Barca is pulling?
2. Can Barca ever go bankrupt based on these levers?
3. In case of bankruptcy, what do you think Barca can do to balance the book?

lovewins: Exactly. Surprised how this is an issue. The current super falcons could also be misconstrued as being too religious, didn't we see Oluehi on screen praying voraciously in the game against Zambia? Sometimes it's difficult to separate religion from culture in this part of the world as we have become culturally religious. I'll only have an issue if it's imposed on others.
As per homophobia, most persons in Nigeria and by extension Africa do not support same-sex marriage, and that in itself is termed homophobia in some quarters. For that to have been an issue would be far fetched.
Cc: mostob For me, I think a coach should face his/her business and let the players face theirs. The only reason the coach should complain is if it is affecting the team performance. And even at that, a sound warning should be issued to the player(s) first and if no changes, the coach is free to expel her. |

Jodera: Lol.. they still had Werner bros
As long as Werner, Havertz and ziyech make 2/3 or all of their attack, EPL will mostly be happy. Na just Sterling wey dem sign don add small stuff to their attack Heard Werner and Ziyech are both moving. Make Chelsea no go enter relegation this season. Sterling sef don regress...not as sharp as before. I'm never a fan of havertz. |

She was below average in this tournament.
Still shocked that Onumonu has the highest shots at goal and Ajibade and Kanu followed with quite a distant number. Ordega had 3 i think. Wait, Onumomu has the highest shot? I was thinking Ucheibe. |

Bigzigg: You are right, If I am to list the players to make way, they'll be Chikwelu(useless), Ordega(Spent, tired), Ikechukwu(not ready) ....Ebi, as good and loyal as she's been, needs to make way for younger players to come through. Plumpter is a capable replacement. Also, Nigerians who were making noise about Gift Monday... Hope they've learned that she can't be a starter. I'll like to disagree with you on Ebi. Ebi needs to make way for younger players...I agree but who are these younger players? Can you list 2. |

One thing about our current squad is everybody knows and accepts their responsibility. If you're not playing, you just need to do something... Some days ago, T-bag was sharing water during the training. Today, he was out cameraman.... Last season, Arteta turned to ball boy and he got a pre assist. If you don't trust the process, na OYO you dey

Spy360: Like you said, we can get a new CB because there's no backup for Gabriel and a fee for Mari will be small. Unless the club will be willing to invest in another defender which I doubt. Holding playing in LCB will not work in this Arteta squad especially when injuries begins to deplete the starting eleven.
However, it's not my decision. Arteta should know better than me. Ok |

Jodera: Lol, I still don't agree. Europa group stage holding and either Saliba or White (depending on who is 2nd choice) will pair with him. Plus there's 5 sub rule. White can play RB, so Holding is this necessary Thank you. The Kuli wey Chelsea buy, we saw wetin he played yesterday. We don't know if na Maguire pro max we will later buy and by that time, we will be regretting selling Holding. |

ObaIgwe1: By this pre season results, I can confirm Awilo Logonba or Lokonga is not going anywhere the reason Sambi is not playing is his Physique and frame. The guy na baller. He will probably deputise for Xhaka because Arteta said he is looking for a new role for Sambi. |

And Arterta should rather train Odegard to shoot more, I don't like passing passing AM During the holiday, I saw a post where Ode was training personally...more like a shooting drill with both feet. Danielnino00: This is the same thing reportedly going on with Jose Pseiro and his Nigerian assistants...
I think I agree with Johnbullmyson here... the NFF need to stop appointing assistants for these coaches...let them pick their choice... Thay way, they are fully accountable for their actions... This is bad. Why impose assistants on the coach. |

Spy360: You see why I said no need for Holding? I can't see him play this season if both Saliba and White stay fit. Anyways, let him stay because of my friend Mostob. Spy 3 out of 4 central defenders played yesterday. Arteta said Tomi will be able to join the team in a week time which means we might have to play the same backline that played today for the first 5 or 6 games of the season. Now, you said we should sell Holding and Mari and buy another left-footed CB. I disagree because the new CB might take a lot of time to adapt so why sell Holding who has been proven? It's nothing personal. |

codemaniacs: For you to ask this shows that our home grown talents are getting worse and if we continue to try to make the team consist of 95% foreign born players then it will get worse.
If SF picks players that are below 25 then I don't think we would have done badly cos it's the old players that are making the team look weak.
I am not saying foreign born should not be chosen, I'm saying they shouldn't be 95% of team.
Home born players who are the best and are playing abroad should be selected while the best home born players who are playing in Nigeria should be tested and and given a chance.
The best foreign born players who want to play for Nigeria should be capped early. I Perfectly understand you. Infact I've argued something along this line both on this thread and on the super eagles thread. Charity begins at home....we need to build those at home, give them a chance too. I think our previous coaches being a foreigner and the fact that our age grade football team has been off for a while due to covid is why there is dearth of talent on the home front. |
