It is either Arteta gets an additional backroom staff in the attacking department or start reading some of these articles and analyses online.

Billy Carpenter should be coaching a team, not sitting behind a lappy and drafting contents. I no dey ever miss his pieces.

The latest one he wrote will do Arteta some good if the gaffer can just go through it.

During a dangerous Como attack, coach Cesc Fàbregas pulled a Milan player Saelemaekers, preventing him from tracking back to defend.

Max Allegri was furious about the incident and was ultimately sent off for his reaction. In his post-match interview, he stated:“I got sent off while defending my players. Next time, I’ll be making sliding tackles myself to win the ball from the opponent.”

The tension didn't end on the pitch. Allegri and Fàbregas reportedly traded insults when they crossed paths in the press area after the match.

Allegri to Fábregas: "You're a child, a**hole, you're a child who just started as a coach!"

The Milan coach blamed the Spaniard for pulling Saelemaekers’ shirt during the play. Fàbregas eventually apologized, promising that it “won’t happen again.”

Fair enough! So this team can and is supposed to win the league.

What percantage of blame would you apportion to the players and the coach.
60% to the players and 40% to the manager.

Tactics and formation will only work if and when the players are willing, and take begging chances

I am trying to believe this statement is more of sarcasm than real talk.
Cus Pep would have been 16 points above us with this kind of squad we have.
Yesterday was on Arteta first, and then the bunch of weak players we have. I think Timber had no business playing the minutes he did, same with bringing Eze on. In the first half of the season, we won more difficult games because everyone held their own, that is not something that can be coached into your mind, as tough as you preach to be, you should always be focused. Norgaard for Zubimendi was needed Yesterday, but Arteta only trusts his first eleven favourites.
Saka talking tough again
Be like na by rotation. Na Calafiori dem go push to the media by Sunday

I disagree. Arteta and Arsenal are competing against each other. I have always maintained this since two seasons ago that what other teams are doing ain't our business. Let's just win our matches.

In 2024, we lost needless points in the first half of the season and lost the league by 2 points.
In 2025, Liverpool were hobbling and wobbling but we didn't take advantage.

Where the Pep 'talk' comes in is in other league where you can afford to be lax and relax, you can't do that with Pep. That guy na demon. He go punish you. Arsenal's performance in the last 3 years would have won them maybe 2 league titles in other leagues but not in EPL where Pep is. You need to strive to be 100% to beat Pep.

IMO, yes. With the current situation and how City fairs so far, he would have managed to win this current EPL.

Why won't he take responsibility? Them no born am well na.

Whats his excuse for this season? when he is not delusional.

Honestly, there a players we need to move on from the team.

1. G Jesus
2. Odegaard
3.Martinelli
4. Trosaard
5. White.

We need fresh energy and fresh ideas.
If White can resolve his fitness issue, I will still have him around. The top 4 can get out. We suppose get like 100m from their sales. A LW and at least two midfielders (AM and CM).

That match was an eyesore but when Jesus started fighting after the final whistle, I had to exit my streaming app. Like where was this fighting spirit during the match?

BlueRayDick:
He's been playing Eze at 10 and he hasn't cover himself in glory at all. Remember the last match Saka played 10 and it was a good outing for the team. So u should understand why Saka was used as a 10 in this match considering we are even playing the lowest ranked team on the league table..

As regards taking Gyokeres off, if u noticed in the first half most of the balls that got to him were either drifting to the right or left and Gyokeres was struggling to dribble his way into the box. I believe the manager subbing him off for Jesus was because Jesus is actually a good dribbler who can move with the ball at his feet. Jesus even scored vs Wolves in the first leg after Gyokeres played rubbish in the same game.

We didn't start the match with the intention of loading aerial balls to our front man, so playing Gyokeres for the full match may seem like putting ourselves at disadvantage as at the team that decision was being made.

I honestly believe we were outdone by weak mentality in this match. The players were just too nervy and didn't get their acts together. All of the players we fielded today are capable of playing in a team that will drub Wolves as much as 4 unreplied goals, it was just the mentality with which they prosecute this match that is very stinking.
It's so shameful. The present crop of players have brought nothing but shame to the fanbase. When you heard them talking tough on TV, you would expect them to show workings on the pitch.

Now, they have lost another EPL. Are they not ashamed?

MSGAMBLE9:
Please don't put Haaland in same sentence as Gyokeres who was very ineffective today as always falling like brother Bernard, Saka put him through in the 1st half and he couldn't even execute a cross in with 3 players waiting in the box and even fumbled a simple back-pass back to Saka...There are many times his poor holdup play gifted possession to Wolves today...

I won't blame Arteta for hauling him off but would blame him for negative tactics of sitting off Wolves with only 2-1 advantage, we did same in the 1st leg and it almost burned us then against Sunderland, Liverpool etc... defending slim advantages against less fancy sides with all the talents at his disposal is indictable or an indictment...
Comparing Haaland to Gyokeres is like comparing panasonic to LG. I'm talking about fitness because the only reason he got subbed may be due to the spurs match. He could have finished the match yesterday and still play that spurs match.

The players are not really ready to win trophies. They're too relax and they always chicken out. Jover almost entered the field to fight them.

@bolded That’s poppycock and you know it.

You guys have been 2nd for 3 consecutive seasons. You haven’t overachieved. That’s stagnation.

You can say you’ve overachieved if last season you finished 4th or are way off the title race.

The fact that you’re dueling with a weakened City side makes it even worse.

You should’ve won it last season.
You should be winning it this season.
Yet it’s slipping away.

What you should be doing now is asking for blood.

BlueRayDick:
Yeah, the weak mentality is glaring going by how our players allowed Wolves run them ragged like they are a serious title contender and not some lpser team already condemned to relegation.

I looked at this line up and substitution and it gave the picture of a round peg in a round hole which shows the coach obviously didn't underrate our opponents.

It's just that winning mentality that is lacking. Of not, our players should not be sleeping on the floor at 2-1 trying to see off the game on a slim win when they should be gunning to score more goals to seal a comfortable win.

They really need to do something about their mentality if not our season may go downhill from here.
His subs today was laughable. Aside Trossard and Saka who had to be subbed, removing Gyokeres that early was diabolical. Haaland do play 90 minutes back to back now. Look at those Liverpool players despite their high energy tactic they do play. Look at Gravenbach. What's the excuse for removing Gyokeres?

I was actually not impressed with the lineup initially. I don't fancy this Saka at #10 stuff. Just play Eze at left 8 and Zubi on the right (at the worst)

My candid advice for any arsenal fan is to denounce this club for now until the club is clean or wash from spiritual curse. How can a club always started the season brilliantly and keep ending it miserably. Honestly, I can't reason it.
