Surely, the starting center-back pairing for the 2023 World Cup has to be Chidinma Okeke and Ohale.
Onome would probably retire from the national team after next year’s AWCON, or even at the conclusion of the AWCON qualifying series.
Is Okeke a CB?

Whyhuh I don't understand.

I thought the reason we're going to play at Athens is because it's not a hotspot for covid

Hmmm... Na to look for another home ground be that oo
The UK Government is serious about stopping the spread of
coronavirus from people coming into the country and their
latest decision affects Arsenal.
The Gunners will travel to Athens for their Europa League
round of 32 return leg against Benfica.
They will now have to quarantine for the next 10 days after
they arrive back in the UK.
This is because the Boris Johnson-led government has
refused to grant an exemption to elite sports as the country
tries to curb the spread of the killer disease.
The new guidelines have been sent to Premier League teams
with Sky Sports reporting that players may train and play
matches when they return to the UK, but they will have to self-
isolate for 10-days outside their work setting which means
they will only leave their house for the elite sport environment.
They can halve their quarantine time if they test negative to
covid-19 5 days after their return to the country.
Sky Sports reveals: “The rules state that anyone who goes on
international duty must remain in their sporting bubble at all
times while away, in order to avoid a spell of unconditional
isolation once they return.
“If a player exits the national team’s bubble – to visit friends
or family – that will invalidate their quarantine exemption and
they must self-isolate for 10 days.
“The latest guidance also removes the quarantine exemption
for new signings, as well as managerial and coaching
appointments.
“It will have a direct impact on teams involved in European
competitions this week.
“Chelsea play Atletico Madrid Bucharest in the Champions
League on Tuesday while Manchester City face Borussia
Monchengladbach at the Puskas Arena in Hungary on
Wednesday.
“Arsenal travel to Greece on to play Benfica for the second-
leg of their Europa League last-32 tie on Thursday due to
Portugal being on a ‘red list’ of countries drawn up by the UK
government.”

Also, did you watch our game esp involving those 3 guys I talked about. Our superior quality shone over Leeds cos those guys have more creativity in them and movements. Little wonder Auba scored 3 ystdy... And in all honesty, he would have scored 5 grin
Yes.. Nelson is now with the U23. He even scored for them recently. Only God understand his situation.

Bro.. yesterday's match was quite interesting. Arteta was spot on with the personnel. You remember I told you our winning that game depends on how sharp Auba is and the guy delivered. Bro... I think Odegaard is made for arsenal. He slot seamlessly yesterday. That Bellerin goal eh... saka 's marauding run, Auba 's chipped cross, ESR holding off his marker and Ceballos ' delicious nutmeg grin The last time I saw something like that was during Wenger's era.

Arteta ought to be playing more of martinelli to improve him for next season not their willian that's passed his sell date and doesn't even influence games sef.
I wouldn't conclude yet on Martinelli. The last time Arteta was interviewed, he said Martinelli was complaining of little discomfort and that he didn't want to risk him due to his injury history.

Haba bro, I understand.

if Arteta wants to go toe-to-toe with them esp hitting them on the counter, that midfield trio is the best bet. Odegaard should slightly be with xhaka while ESR in advanced position. I notice ESR doesn't have long pass accuracy reason I'm putting him in the Advanced of the 3. Both ESR and odegaard has good work rate, so I guess they should hold their own with intricate passes and exchanges

Honestly, we have more quality than them. They just have the work rate and system, but if we can attack them, we'll surely hit them.

As for your front three, I'll gladly pick those 3 especially with the arrangement, but we know with Arteta, it's never possible sadly. Not when Auba and lacazette is available.
So apt bro... you're spot on

Be like Arteta wan pack midfield. Auba better be on his best today. Odegaard might score today if Saka stays on the LW. Nobody to nod so we might see a lot of cutbacks from him instead of crosses.

why can't we start xhaka odegaard and ESR in midfield?

Also for your top 9, who will play it?
Sorry for the late reply bro...
A midfield of ESR, Xhaka and Odegaard will be run ragged.
Except Arteta want to go toe to toe.
My front Three is kinda fluid.. Martinelli and Pepe will rotate the top 9 role but Gabi will be starting there.

Auba would have been a good option had Tierney been fit. However, I'll go with Martinelli, Pepe and Saka as the front three...Xhaka, Elneny(shrugs) and Odegaard as the Midfield trio.. Luiz and Mari in Defence. Laca and Auba to come in later.

France had better strikers with better stats than Giroud yet Giroud got the spot. Giroud didn't have a single shot on target during the World Cup but he still played almost all their matches. I understand our wingers need to start scoring goals but replacing them just like that might not work out the way we want.
National team is different from club.
A player may score 20 goals for his club but struggles to score 1 goals for his national team.

So what is your point bro. Football is not as straightforward as you think. You need to look into the team and see what is missing. Now, Nwakaeme is a striker, the question is, is he better than those we have now? So you are saying if Henry is recalled, they should call Tony, do both play in the same position. You need to stop victimising yourself ontop every post.

I saw that interview and it really bothered me because he was quite honest about his feelings. We did not manage Saliba’s situation well at all and that is the brutal truth.
I was very vocal about how Arteta failed to communicate the plan for the kid and this left everyone confused. I mean the kid was rotting in bench while Chambers/ Mari came back from their respective injuries and played several games.. that would hurt anyone na. He was sent to the U-23 and for those of us that watched him, the consensus was he was way ahead of the U-23 team.
Arteta can take a weekend off or send one of his assistants to watch Saliba and keep tabs with him. I am not even sure Arteta or his team are communicating with him now that he is on loan. We have a lot of French ex-players that are club ambassadors, use them!!
You said it all. I will like to see him back at arsenal but whatever decision he takes at the end of the season, I will support him. Arsenal really treated him badly and I wouldn't blame him if he is not back here.

Partey may just take solace in the huge pay, playing English football and sweet london life..

Arsenal need morale boosting management.
You have a point but I still think it is a matter of what a player can offer a team, what difference can a player make on the field. To say he is becoming demotivated, I beg to disagree. Our midfield was in shamble before we bought him but now he keeps misplacing passes. There were some moments during our last three matches where a simple pass is required but he held on to the ball and lose it to the opponent.
Like somebody said, the jury is still out on him
