Rita Chikwelu is one of the most Fittest and strongest player Superfalcons have ever produce in the Midfield... Her major problem now is pace. She's isn't as fast(the pace is no longer there) as before due to her age.. But in terms of fitness Chikwelu is top notch..
The chikwelu I watched at the last AFCON was not fit. she was too slow and sluggish. Anyway, you may be right.

Never knew a story could infuriate me to this extent. They should first of all soak Samuel inside got water then whip him before rubbing pepper on his entire body.

Okay, its time for Martinelli to slow it down a little. He is quite fragile and has suffered too many injuries in such a short span and that is beginning to worry me because I want long term. Too many injuries, especially in a short span makes the body susceptible to new injuries because of a lack of activity. and recovery, you have to remember, the human body is a system that is connected. If you watch how he rolled his ankle, it does not surprise me honestly because it is who he is, he does everything with a lot of intensity but at some point, we have to help Martinelli protect himself from himself.
I agree. From an article I read, he said he was feeling some pain around his ankle but he thought it was notbad so he carried on. Dude needs to protect himself and the coach and medical staffs should help him out

I will not be surprised is African jazz is not involved. Auba and Pepe must have informed their village people.

Jokes apart, he will be a big miss as he is just back from injury layoff. Auba will continue in that RW with Lacazette playing CF. I am not sure if Arteta trusts Nelson enough to start him.
I still prefer Nelson in that LW. He is the only one that can offer close to what Gabby offers in that position. Pepe might thrive there sha. Willian should be given 3 months off please.

Martinelli suffered an ankle injury yesterday and he left the field in tears. Though,he was later seen at the stand watching the match. I hope he come back soon. We really need him. Those agbayas ain't coming to party anytime soon. Nelson is the closest I can recommend outta all to replace him.

Willian, Pepe and Auba should be glued to the bench...Watching Arsenal and in the past couple of weeks, Auba has looked terrible and disinterested...At some point I was wondering if he has lost a yard of pace because I have seen him refuse to chase balls which he should have gotten to before a defender using his pace but he doesn't even try...

In defense, I don't see Gabriel regaining his spot unless he and Mari can partner which is highly unlikely...Don't get me wrong, Gabriel has been fantastic...

It's good to see you guys doing well once again, it makes for a better league...
I think it has to do with confidence though. And if truly Auba and Willian are short of confidence, Saka, Martinelli and 'De Croydon ' should lend them some. What an irony! The kids were expected to back them up and learn from their experience o. Now, reverse is the case; D

Yeah, I noticed that about him.

The few times I watched him last season before he went to injury, I knew we've got a gem. Reads the game well, can pass ball out from the back both long and short passes. He's really good, no wonder holding is looking good alongside him.

If only him and Gabriel can pair eh, we for don get our own Ferdinand and vidic for years to come.

But then, I don't know if this will work.
Holding and Mari
Saliba and Gabriel.

Who will be our first two pairs and which pair will sit out.

And will the sit out pairs be ready to take the bench wen they know they're good?

That's the conundrum
Don't let us forget Chambers too. Before both got injured, Holding and Chambers were in good form. This Saliba eh, let us lower our expectations about him. Let him play first before we start pairing him with one of the LCB.
Mustafi, Luiz, Sok will be leaving by the end of the season. with 5 senior CBs, we will be good to go. Also, a lot of prospects in Dzenyi, Ballard, Rekik should be able to provide back up just in case.

The issue with Saliba’s situation for most Arsenal fans is the lack of clarity in communication. Arteta failed to clarify why exactly the kid was frozen and not registered. I know the plan was to register him for EL but Mari made a quick recovery that no one expected and by that time it was late to register him for the league. Arteta’s communication is very poor of you ask me especially with regards to player management.

Saliba looked like a player that has been out of active football for a long time when he features for Nice. Remember he is being coached at Nice by P. Viera. I don’t know if the quality of the French League will help him improve. I wish he was sent to a top Championship side, La Liga or Germany. Let’s see what happens though, I will be keeping an eye on him.
Agreed. Arteta said he will be back for pre season with us. Hopefully, a new chapter for the Lad next season.

Absolutely, I will forever remain grateful to Wenger’s because of how he steered the club, made sacrifices and took a lot of heat for the owners in the face of a self sustaining model. Arsenal would have been underwater if Wenger was not the head coach.

Arsenal needs to get into the UCL especially if this pandemic continues to keep fans out of the stadium. We can not afford seasons without good paying competitions. Do you know how much revenue we lost from not going to Asia/ US for our tours? Also, sale of club merchandise have dropped significantly as it is closely associated to stadium visits/ tours etc.
This covid is a real problem o. BTW, I don't think we should be expecting any new signing.

Yo mean we only qualified just once since we got xhaka, elneny and mustafi in 2016
Don't let us forget carzola was still bubbling then
I don't know the precise year we got them bro but I know we played in Europa in wenger 's last season here. And the point I'm trying to make is that with all the deadwoods bought by wenger, we were always in UCL so I don't think he should be solely blamed for their regress.
Moreso, you remember how Arsene will buy cheap players, develop them and resale them in higher price so the profit will be used to offset the stadium Debts- this is exactly what I meant in my first post.

Maybe, maybe not. Why I partially disagree is because those deadwoods still got us UCL football.
