Barry Mpigi, the House of Representatives candidate of Eleme/oyigbo fed Constituency in APC, in the company of soldiers has invaded the INEC RAC Center and collected all documents including result sheets that would make him winner.

PDP CONDEMNS RELEASE OF N5billion TO ROTIMI AMAECHI   TO COMPROMISE RIVERS RERUN ELECTIONS  

The Chairman of Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Rivers State, Bro. Felix Obuah has condemned  the  alleged airlift and release of  N5billion to the Minister of Transportation, Mr Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi by agents of the Federal Government for the purpose of compromising INEC personnel and security agents  participating in the Rivers rerun elections.

In a statement by Pastor Jerry Needam,  Special Adviser on Media and Publicity to the Rivers State PDP Chairman, Bro Felix Obuah,  the party called on the international  community  and relevant  security  agencies  to  investigate the  release and distribution  of  the  said N5billion  which  appalled passengers of the commercial  airline as it was offloaded  into CBN trucks on the tarmac  of the Port Harcourt International Airport.

The Party added that all those found to be involved  in  this alleged illegal trafficking  of funds for the rerun  elections  should  be  prosecuted.

It will be  recalled  that online  pictures  of  a commercial  airline offloading  N5billion into trucks of the CBN on Friday  night at the Port Harcourt International  Airport  shocked the world  as the funds were released on a day declared public holiday.

The reason for the recently declared 2 day public holiday in Rivers state has been uncovered by our team of investigative reporters. Rising Tide perceived that it was unusual for a governor to declare a two day public holiday for an election swung into action.
Our investigations reveal that the public holiday was declared to frustrate the efforts of Capital Index Limited to rake N1.5 billion from 2 commercial banks in Port Harcourt. Rivers State Government security units "intercepted" a message from the INEC REC, requesting that the money be delivered in cash, for the purpose of "internal settlements'.
The intercepted message also has Mr. Ikoiwak lamenting that "Roy is making things difficult for me.' Roy is the other name of DIG Sotonye Wakama, the no nonsense cop who has been posted to the coordinate and ensure security in the state during the March 19, 2016 elections.
"Achi, tell Oga the E.Os want their money on Friday morning, that means we must get cash on Thursday." Mr. Ikoiwak said in the intercepted message. The "Achi" our reporters gather may be one Achi Wobodo, a lawyer and special assistant to a prominent APC politician and former governor of Rivers state.
Gov. Wike swung into action and immediately reported the plot to bribe INEC adhoc staff through the state REC to the DSS. To frustrate the delivery of the money to the INEC REC, the state has put plain cloth security men around the banks, airports and Capital Index to ensure that no cash is delivered to the INEC boss.
"We know they will not transfer the money online because we'll catch them. We have an informant among. So the safe bet is to deliver cash to Aniedi(INEC REC) or Paul Uko. We are also monitoring the E.Os. We will not allow the rigging," A PDP strategist in the state told Rising Tide. When RTN reminded that the transfers to the E.Os could be done through the banks, the PDP strategist who begged to remain anonymous, said "Don't forget the state government is a big customer in all these banks, and we have all the names of the E.Os and the accounts the payments are coming from and we have forwarded same to the EFCC and DSS."
Already the cash crunch is already biting in the APC, as one candidate Ineye Jack (APC) in AKLGA constituency 1 has stepped down for Prince Major Jack of the PDP stating lack of funds to prosecute the campaign. He said only friends of Amaechi benefitted from the funds that came from the NDDC. Ineye Jack could not be reached on phone.

Dear Good people of Rivers state, tomorrow, Saturday 19th March offers us the opportunity to reelect our National and state legislative members.

For us as Rivers people, this is a very important day in our history. It's a day for us reelect legislatures who would move our state forward or would retrogress the current developmental strides of this current administration.

We as a people still have fresh memories of the cruelty melted out on us by the past Administration. We remember vividly that our Courts were closed for more than a year, leaving our brothers, sons, fathers, daughters and mothers who were supposed to get Judgement, languishing in Prison.

We remember how economic activities in the state were paralyzed, with civil servants and pensioners owed salaries ranging from 4-6 months. And how the former Governor told pensioners to go and die when they cried out.

Our internal roads were abandoned and completely dilapidated under the former APC led administration with their legislative members keeping deaf ears to the Cry's of Rivers People.

We also remember how the last APC administration ruled this state with Impunity and total disregard for God, man and the rule of Law.

Today this same APC are presenting themselves for relection after conniving with the Appeal court to steal our mandate of the able and dynamic legislatures we had elected.

This same APC in Rivers State are telling us to vote for them because they are the ruling govt at the Center. As Rivers people, we find this laughable because with what is happening at the center, voting legislatures simply because their party is ruling at the center would be tantamount to suicide.

As Rivers people, we have suffered the adverse consequences of the incompetence of the government at center. A bag of Pure water has risen to #250 with a satchet being sold for #20. As an oil producing state, we've not hard fuel to buy on a consistent Basis, as we have suffered constant non availability of Fuel with the available ones being sold for Exorbitant Prices. The list is endless.

As Indigenous people who are free born, we should not allow ourselves and our land to be enslaved by traitors who have connived with outsiders to loot our resources.

The current government under the Leadership of Barr Nyesom Wike has in 9 months done a lot to banish the bad memories of the past administration. Our courts have been opened, backlog of salaries paid and massive infrastructural development of the state ongoing. The list is endless.

This developmental strides would be in big threat if able and dynamic legislative members are not elected to support this vision at both the state and federal level.

Voting Wike's Men is the solution to our fear of the unimaginable consequences of having bad legislatures. Below are a list of Wike's Men For both the State and National legislatures;
