The question EFCC should ask OBJ is what happened to the CHILD CARE TRUST FUND The account contains millions of our donated money. |
It does not matter what type of proof is presented that indicts OBJ, just like Atiku, Nigerians are so divided over this that we only see what suites us. I hope they both leave in pieces. ![]() |
Believe me, left for me all our past leaders would be facing firing squad. They have no usefulness to the country and where others that have contributed meaningfully can't collect their pensions, our leaders will be smiling home at the end with their loot and benefits. Ribadu should stake his career on making sure Atiku, OBJ and past and present governors, legislators are probed.Having said that it still does not absorb OBJ from answering this allegation. |
What we are hearing right now is noise, Nigerians are yet to hear the sound. Stay tuned there may be more. |
Only in Africa do we accept kleptomaniacs as leader, OBJ source of wealth like IBB will never be revealed to citizen minions like us. Thanks to the imbroglio between little thief and bid thief this misdeed would never have been known. and by the way shouldn't we know what happened to all the money that was left in the Child Care Trust Fund since being taken over by stella son? |
@stranger 12 Yes! we are aware he had assets besides the N20,000 cash. it's still a fact that those did not amount to the billion he now has. His Ota farm house was an eyesore according to governor Kalu when he visited the place before OBJ was elected, the turn around of that business since then should earn an award. Why did he wait till he became our president to get his loan after all, the place has been around since 1979 and languishing and in eight years this! and how many manufacturer have gone under since he became presido? that kind turnaround in naija is suspicious. |
Apathy is the bane of our society, when corruption happen at home and the White people now report it, we all shout racism. We need to take control of our resources to enrich all Nigerian, not just a few people. The inability of all citizen to access the nation wealth leads to more Nigerians like Tochi Amara(R.I.P) taking unnecessary risk that eventually leads to their death. BE VOCAL AND BE SEEN. |
THIS IS FOR YOU TOCHI AMARA. THOUGH I KNOW YOU NOT, YOU ARE STILL MY BROTHER.( R.I.P) Man In Black Lyrics Well, you wonder why I always dress in black, Why you never see bright colors on my back, And why does my appearance seem to have a somber tone. Well, there's a reason for the things that I have on. I wear the black for the poor and the beaten down, Livin' in the hopeless, hungry side of town, I wear it for the prisoner who has long paid for his crime, But is there because he's a victim of the times. I wear the black for those who never read, Or listened to the words that Jesus said, About the road to happiness through love and charity, Why, you'd think He's talking straight to you and me. Well, we're doin' mighty fine, I do suppose, In our streak of lightnin' cars and fancy clothes, But just so we're reminded of the ones who are held back, Up front there ought 'a be a Man In Black. I wear it for the sick and lonely old, For the reckless ones whose bad trip left them cold, I wear the black in mournin' for the lives that could have been, Each week we lose a hundred fine young men. And, I wear it for the thousands who have died, Believen' that the Lord was on their side, I wear it for another hundred thousand who have died, Believen' that we all were on their side. Well, there's things that never will be right I know, And things need changin' everywhere you go, But 'til we start to make a move to make a few things right, You'll never see me wear a suit of white. Ah, I'd love to wear a rainbow every day, And tell the world that everything's OK, But I'll try to carry off a little darkness on my back, 'Till things are brighter, I'm the Man In Black. |

If we were not notified that OBJ owned 200m shares of Transcorp, that was subscribed to at N1 per share then, do you know what that would be worth by now? considering the same stock is been offered to us the unconnected sap at N7.50K @SHARE. What a slowpoke I was to really believe OBJ over ATIKU. damn I still taste the bile in my mouth 4 that. NEVER AGAIN! http://www.saharareporters.com/dn001.php?dnid=238 While i don't always believe everything I read, current events has changed my mind. If this too turns out to be true, wallah tallia I'm coming back to Nigeria to steal the electrical transformer in my neighborhood. My share of the national cake. (LOL) |
http://www.independentngonline.com/news/127/ARTICLE/19886/2007-01-28.html Do they really believe we are fools? loan my foot. |
(According to Academic experts students can earn a master’s degree in Pharmacy if they go the long haul).please read this again, its an investigative writeup, the facts are laid bare here, if anyone of you can do a better job than omoyele by all means feel free. sites like his have redeeming value,by keeping our leaders on their toe.I have no reason to doubt Iwu qualification, but this just bug my curiosity |
Ha ha! was Satan a former Angel? anyone capable of turning a money losing farm into one of the most flourishing business in Nigeria within the time he was elected and now is bound to be crooked. |
I still don't understand why people find this startling. one ADEDIBU is worth thoushands of vote to the PDP as long as 'DIBU continue to deliver to the right party, he has no qualm about being arrested, unless he gets caught with causing mayhem in OYO. Snap! that he already did. |
probably someone might suggest lynching regards this issue, but I just have to ask. My friend common-law wife(traditional engagement:no formal wedding) recently moved back to Naija with the kids(2), no arrangement as to that. He has been here living single since then, anyway one of her friends that was separated from her husband years ago is now a good friend of his(platonic for now). will it be right to encourage a relationship with her? as she is so understanding of his reasons not to move to Naija with her friend. he is sure the relationship with his kids mum is over, its been 2 years since she left and they've only seen each other once |
As the article reflects, its part of ongoing reform and reorganization of the force only those ill equipped to be in the force are being let go. There is plan to hire new recruit to take their place. This is a welcome development. |
@Donzman Am sure you not seriously saying the Prof is English deficient? what he say and how its reported maybe different. |
"No general is bold enough not to fear death, not to fear bullet. Obasanjo has an internal fear of what happens to him after 2007. So, what did he do? If he wages war against the North, will these South-South politicians protect him? The answer is no, they have no power. Obasanjo has been very calculating (Prof Tam David West)http://odili.net/news/source/2007/jan/15/809.html Do you believe that OBJ is really afraid of the North?. |
We need to understand that America did not become a civilized society by not making mistake, go back to the genesis of the police( A BRIEF GUIDE TO POLICE HISTORY by Konrad Adenauer) http://faculty.ncwc.edu/toconnor/205/205lect04.htm |
@mamajama Nigeria and N P F will never get out of this quagmire if it's not ready to experiment with reorganization. If the worst thing that might happen with a state police is for the governor to oppress it's opponent, that I won't sweat, let the politician deal with their self. Having a state police formation will enable the force to become manageable and more effective |
What happened to the child trust fund, and how much is left in the coffer? How is the money been spent and who oversee the affairs of the trust care? What plans do you have for the C. T. F considering almost all state governors contributed toward the fund with STATE money? |
Personally I think it's time we should all ask that question of who killed Ralph Ige. The A I G of police |
http://hrw.org/reports/2005/nigeria0705 There is a damaging report by human right watch on the Nigeria police, I recommend it to anyone who want an insight on how things work on this side of the world. copy or paste to get the report |
I am a Nigerian that have lived in the U SA for twentytwo years and have never been afraid to go back home, I am a realist because having invested my productive years here, it makes no sense to just uproot and move home, for what? in a few year I will be entitled to retire and the benefits that come with it. Abi make I COME LINEUP FOR SUN JUST TO COLLECT WHAT I WORKED FOR, LIKE ALL NIGERIAN RETIREES. |
Just couldn't agree with you more mamajama, to even compare the equipment available to Daley(chicago mayor) boys with what NPF has will be ludicrous. i believe that until we start paying living wage to our force, we shall continue to see more of the N20 police. with inflation maybe it will become N50 |
In my prior writeup i advisedly advocated that the I G position should be an elected one like the county sheriffs we have in U S, that way someone could be held responsible for all thefolly going on in the country. It may just work. |
Well said buddy! but the issue is that top hierarchy are not letting the benefits due to some of these guys thru. there was a case which unfortunately i don't have the details to right now concerning our force that served with THE U.N, they were paid in dollars which is standard in peace keeping missions and the Nigeria official or leaders converted that money into naira, and paid them the equivalent of their salary. issues like that affect morals of the men. we need to shake the tree vigorously and let all the bad fruit down and then watch it grow back. it might take some time, but it can be done. |
Our society is replete with pastors like King, any sweet talking, sleek sleaze can get people around and proclaim himself a pastor, G O, Prophet or whatever title he desire. In light of our wanton embrace of Christianity and being "born" again, we may yet to see an end to issues like this. |
