Am sure there are people who obviously feel disappointed at this verdict, believe me I'm not one of them .The judiciary has risen to the rescue of the nation again. We the people as voters should be the last decision maker on whether Atiku becomes our President. Nigerians are wise enough to make that call.GOD BLESS NIGERIA. |

@Alabiyemmy The point i was trying to make is that the proof of OBJ may never be known until another regime come into power. IBB,ABACHA misdeed were not known to us and in the case of IBB,OBJ has refused to investigate any wrong doing by him. If Nigerian are waiting for Ribadu to probe this government, it will never happen, so ATIKU will remain the face of corruption till then. |
@ Alabiyemmy I will show you such proof as soon as someone shows me IBB own. you know well that most African leaders misdeed is not made known until they are out of power e.g ABACHA. with time Naija will get to know of OBJ. |
He could have stayed at the embassy, other nation do that, you think all American diplomat stay in a hotel when they visit Naija? $4000 is still a lot of money even by Hollywood's standard |
@LEWA Mr, after 4 years as senator and after over a decade as a politician it's only this meager things he can do for ducation.only help 1300 indigent students for GCE/NECO forms?Haba! So how much do notebooks cost?. By the way how many secondary schools to start with fall under his senatorial district? How many post secondary students writing JAMB OR SSCE/NECO have benefited from this largess-1300?What of economic empowerment as regards those wanting to learn a trade, wanting capital to start a trade?I want to assume you are an adult anyone over 21,and probably working, how much have you given to your high school since you left the place? Whatever KORO has been able to do, he did from his private fund.Nigerians should learn to appreciate little things maybe bigger things will happen. |
So what does it mean when the PDP give you a flag? I thought the party flag represent the fact that the bearer is the chosen candidate for that position. Go ask GOVERNOR 172 HOUSES. of Enugu, he got his flag. |
Despite their 'indictment' by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Governor Chimaroke Nnamani of Enugu State and his Political Adviser and Commissioner for Local Government Matters, Chief Sam Ebenezer Ejiofor were yesterday presented with the party's flags as Senatorial and Deputy Governorship candidates. Nnamani is the senatorial candidate of the PDP for Enugu East Central Senatorial Zone while Ejiofor is the deputy governorship candidate of the party for the April polls. http://www.guardiannewsngr.com/news/article05 For everyone that still believe OBJ and PDP are fighting corruption, you may be the BIG MUGU. It's okay to own 172 houses as a governor, but its not right to "write a dud cheque" that will get you disqualified as a senatorial candidate in Ogun State. whoa! Ti obasanjo ni ile ati ekun re( the earth is obasanjo and those who know the story) apology to baba wande. LOL |
For the Peoples Democratic Party's PDP presidential and national assembly candidates for the April polls, it is not yet celebration time. Reason: the party's National Secretary Chief Ojo Maduekwe said yesterday that the tickets were still open till February 20, when the party would submit the final list of its candidates to the Independent National Electoral Commission . http://www.guardiannewsngr.com/news/article02 First PDP wanted Atiku and others back, now the party is saying their presidential ticket is still open. hum- hum and they said other parties were confused. wonder what OBJ has to say about this Maduekwe Ojo diarrhea |
@ BIG B1 People have taken side on this issue. trying to convince them otherwise will be fruitless. What goes around, come, |
The president of Israeli has been charged for RAPE. ATIKU is facing a thump charge.Let Atiku run! Nigerians are smart enough to reject or accept him at the poll. NO! Gowan gave us the Idoji award, history was not your best subject. LOL |
I have no qualms with any law applied evenly. An injustice has been done to some innocent people by OBJ and his tule-tule(home wrecker) utterances. |
Bitch work hardYet another smart answer from an American wanna be, visa rejected person. I need people with intelligence to respond not a shallow mind |
Is wealth a result of hard work or blessing, If blessing as defined is an infusion of something with holiness or divine will, then how do we account for wealthy nations that are avowed atheist? Do hard work or working hard result in wealth? Can you be wealthy without being blessed? |
"Politics is the art of preventing people from taking part in affairs which properly concern them" Paul Valery (1871 - 1945) Q: We have heard and seen a lot OF political posturing concerning this coming election. Can we rely on the politicians to make our vote count, do we really have a say on who become our next leader or is it already decided. |
"I happen to feel that the degree of a person's intelligence is directly reflected by the number of conflicting attitudes she can bring to bear on the same topic." Lisa Alther, Kinflicks, 1975 "The most perfidious way of harming a cause consists of defending it deliberately with faulty arguments." Friedrich Nietzsche (1844 - 1900) TO MY PEOPLE ON EITHER SIDE OF THIS ISSUE, I'VE MADE MY POINT. GOD BLESS NIGERIA. mo wapa |
Only in Nigeria can someone like OBJ call himself a leader, anywhere else, he wouldn't be electable as a councilman. His utterance is enough character witness against him. He flip flops on issues.Naijas! don't trust him. How can you be richer than when you came on and still claim to fight corruption?only time will tell who is right or wrong in this WAR. |
@Iyke-D Am glad you live in a "civilized society", you know very well such list as written will never see the light of day here(USA). Everything pertaining to that list is contrary to sense of justice and fairness If your name is smeared or wronglyAre you aware that the process of clearing your name in this case, means you have to appear before a committee set up by the govt. whose impartiality cannot be ascertain. Beside that aren't you suppose to be guilty beyond reasonable doubt? The truth be told, all these Nigerians we are defending will do exactly the same thing to their opponentsSo our sense of justice should now be clouded because, they might or would have done the same thing back? such argument does little to advance democratic principle.I expect better from you living outside the country. We are much exposed than this. This Tejusuo guy you are defending , do you have the exact details of what he is being accused of by theThe burden of proof rest with the prosecutor,Ribadu should be asked to substantiate why the dude is on his list not the other way round There is an adage in Yoruba that say, the person that get hit by a fast moving car is not the one that gets the vehicle plate number.Follow the link to the tribune and see that picture and for once imagine that person to be your family, how would you feel? he cannot defend himself now cause he may be seeking treatment outside our shore. For those who disagree - if you get a chance of driving down the highway here in the US, please ignoreWhat has this analogy got to do with how politics is played in Nigeria? at least there are posted rules in the two state you mentioned, what are the rule of engagement in our politics. If people like Mantu was accused and sanctioned by the house for collecting N40m as rent for a property that he owned is not on the list, where is fairness in this. where is Omisore name, he was accused of murder and won while in jail and PDP did not see him unfit then, where is Akala on this list,he was just given a flag by PDP.Daniel of ogun state?Agagu from my state? even Iyabo, the oracle daughter that was accused of financial complicity in the last ogunstate held festival of art and game.My bro! this list is a well intended one by EFCC, its just been hijacked by wicked soul for devilish means. |
Nigerians Will one day wakeup to find out that we have been unwilling participant in a hidden camera show. There is a script being written somewhere and we have no control on what role is assigned to us.There is political divide in this country and it seems to sooth someone just fine, who? we will find out sooner or later.POLITICS naija style is different to how its played in civilized society. Here, its a mean of living. |
PDP Woos Back Atiku, Ogbeh, Others In a move that could be considered strange, but perhaps calculated to ensure that it goes into the general elections in April with little opposition, the Peoples Democratic Party at the weekend, began the process of ensuring return of its estranged members. The National Secretary of the party, Chief Ojo Maduekwe, stated the new position of the party at a press conference in Abuja, just as the party's National Chairman, Senator Ahmadu Ali, explained reason behind the rejection of some gubernatorial candidates, who emerged from the party's primaries. Reading from a prepared text, titled: "As our Doors Remain Open", Maduekwe pleaded with aggrieved members of the party to return, noting that whatever happened that led to their exit was a necessary sacrifice and should be put behind. The PDP move, however, comes same day its staunch opposition, the Action Congress (AC) accused its (PDP) leader, President Obasanjo, of scheming to perpetuate himself in power. In its submission to the ECOWAS fact-finding mission to Nigeria on the 2007 elections, the AC said against the wishes of well meaning Nigerians and the National Assembly, billions of Naira were appropriated for the procurement of electronic voters registration machine. The party added that the scarcity of the machines from the onset was artificially being manipulated by the PDP in collusion with the INEC to ensure rigging of the forthcoming elections. Pleading with the decampees, including vice president Atiku Abubakar, former national chairman of the party, Chief Audu Ogbeh, among others, to return to the party, the national secretary said the answer to their grievances should not be in the opposition. http://www.guardiannewsngr.com/news/article01 What a joke and fools our politician take us for, First Atiku was not good enough to run and now PDP want him back?Who the heck do we now believe Knowing nothing happen in that party without OBJ consent ![]() |
Olusegun Oba-sanjo yesterday said the leadership of the People Democratic Party (PDP) retained the candidacy of Governor Gbenga Daniel despite the investigations carried out by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commis-sion (EFCC) on his administration because "a known devil is better than a hidden angel". Obasanjo who was addressing PDP supporters at the Abeokuta North Local Government Area said the party decided to endorse Daniel for the second term because his inadequacies were pardonable. He added that nobody was perfect while urging PDP supporters to team up and give the party a landslide victory in the April elections. http://www.thisdayonline.com/nview.php?id=70281 What a fraud this dude is! the rule of game changes when his "boys" are concerned what a crook, shoo! fighting corruption my foot. Why do we HAVE different rule of engagement in this W A R?. Why does OBJ think Atiku or Tinubu are not pardonable? I am 100% behind Ribadu in this war, but we must come to the table with clean hands. With a boss like OBJ, am sure he starting to feel like the MUGU(FOOL) |
@ Alabiyemmy His name is Lanre Tejuosho, he is a medical doctor and had never held any public position. He is a senatorial candidate under ANPP, he was attacked in his hotel room just last month by armed thug/thief and was lucky to escape with his life after being whacked on the head and warned that he was bold for running against ----- (name withheld). and GUESS who his political opponent is? IYABO. YOUR GUESS IS AS GOOD AS MINE, ON WHO WANTS THIS DUDE OUT OF THE WAY. http://www.tribune.com.ng/28012007/news/news2.html |
Spear me this emotional rant! what justification does EFCC have for OBJ daughter opponent appearing on the list. This list has little to do with the fight on corruption which I support and more to do with stopping perceived enemy. ![]() |
I use to have the wait and see mentality, until I realized OBJ has nothing to offer. It's only in Nigeria or maybe Africa that you are guilty until proven innocent. EFCC has finally succeeded in proving its an appendage of the presidency. RIBADU has lost my vote. |
MY LIST OF CORRUPT PSEUDO DECEIVERS PARTY CANDIDATES 1.Olusegun Aremu Obasanjo pdp 2.Gbenga Daniel pdp 3.Olusegun Agagu pdp 4.Iyabo Obasanjo pdp 5.Alao Akala pdp 6.Andy Uba pdp 7.Musiliu Obanikoro pdp 8.Goodluck Jonathan pdp 9.Mantu Ibrahim pdp 10.All returning senators and congressmen. |
What a stupid list.what is Lanre Tejuoso name (43)doing on the list other than the dude is running as a candidate against OBJ Daughter in OGUN! H e has never held a public position. abeg, this is a joke ![]() |
@Seun70 and Chimaze. I commend your vision of starting from scratch, what we have in most house of assembly are politicians who contest a position based on their age and have no clue how a bill becomes a law. You are what Naija needs now. Goodluck in your quest. |
Why would OBJ defend himself publicly or appear before the senate, He has successfully branded Atiku as corrupt. Adedibu,Akala.and the human right indicted gov. of river state are walking free, while segun is playing politics by indicting his former Housing minister. and if there are people that do believe Ribadu runs the EFCC,baba recent pronouncement in Akure should put it to rest. |
The fear of OBJ is the begining of wisdom ![]() |
.The judiciary has risen to the rescue of the nation again. We the people as voters should be the last decision maker on whether Atiku becomes our President. Nigerians are wise enough to make that call.
