sonssyo:You're welcome. Truth is, even when you get study packs from people, its just so you can read ahead, or if you dont have the money for it yet, cos you'd still have to pay for it before exams, else you wont get your exam slip. |
Oyinda32:You can begin online registration on their site now. Classes usually start may/june. |
Congrats on the two gigs bro . That first boss tho ![]() Ive done freelance jobs before, and i think money shouldnt always motivate you. Think of it, imagine u take tht gig of $500, and aftr a month u burn out, or even fall sick, mind you, your body will hv a really hard time adjusting to the new sleep pattern, and most of your days will be useless since you'd be tired... Now also imagine you take that $200 gig. You'd build a relationship with your boss, get more jobs (like the poster above said) , work at ur own pace, develop more skills, get more referrals, have a "life", have enough time to chase other gigs that you can juggle... + alot more. In the end, after a few months you'd be better at what you do, you'd have gained more skills, you'd have built a reputation and if you're consistent, you'd likely be making alot more than that $500. So bros, think long term, and i advice you not to be clouded by the 500 bucks cos tht guy sounds like some1 you'd b selling your soul to. In the end, whatever works for you is what wins. I hope this helps tho... |

You have your answer ![]() That old boss can still wakeup in a bad mood any day and decide to sack her for no good reason again. Sometimes, stability is better than pay. |
Sir, Since you've been working for three years now, you must have been examining people in your org, in different departments and there's likely something you've seen that you feel you'd do well at. That's the first stage, figuring out what you will like to be doing for the rest of your life without being frustrated. So you need to figure that out, and if its something you can get a certification in, that will boost your knowledge about the job role and enable you switch... luckily, your 3 years experience will always count, so you just need to figure out what you really want and educate yourself on it. Hope this helps a bit. |
Just to add... I once attended an interview and the second question i was asked out of the blue was "what is your favourite color?" I was almost thrown off balance cos i dint expect tht but i answered... the next 5 questions were also about color, and this had absolutely nothing to do with the job. I later learnt that, colours tell alot about a persons character, who you are and how you may relate with others in the work environment or handle some issues... Now imagine using the wrong colors in your cv which may not truely repesent who you are, just cos u want to 'design' it. It will send the wrong message to the interviewers (if you happen to meet the kind i met). Long and short is, stick to black and white. Plain and simple, easy to read. |
Doesn't count. Instead, you should try as much as possible to remove all forms of distractions, same reason why putting pictures on your cv isnt really a good idea. What really matters is your ability to organize your cv with good spacing, makes it easy for them to go through. Focus more on brushing up the sellable skills on your cv, employers pay more attention to that. |
teechudleyy:Doing something in the spur of the moment? Lol. Forgive me ![]() Modified So i just checked. Ive learnt something new. Thanks ![]() |
sonssyo:You should get a mail bfr the end of the week. If you dont, send them a mail on monday. |
Emmanuel360:Check www.stutern.com You'd find internship opps there. |
Rhyah:Follow this ( www.nairaland.com/1909933/post-entry-level-industrial-trainee ) thread. You'd likely find what you seek. |
Favolly:Well said. I dnt think i could have aired my opinion better than you have. Season 6... there's likely going to be a big come back for the firm, after much trouble with clients ofcourse. And some of the staff may come back begging (or maybe not). I just wonder where they'd get good recruits to fill up all the positions from, since almost every1 quit, and the top law school grads dont wana go there Gibbs is just a vindictive bitch, and i wonder how Harvey did not find any dirt from her past to blackmail her with... o'well. Till S'6.... |
Adet5:No sir. I have the hard copies of the four courses. I dont think there are soft copy notes tho. Im in lagos, so if there's a means to get them across, maybe through someone, let me know. |
Dahveydson:Morning bro. Its not an arguement or a debate, and its not a matter of being right or wrong, cos its easy for some1 to just talk without really knowing what its like to be in that situation. I was talking to karleone about something in his signature. In issues like this, there are so many ways to look at it. My discussion with him was based on me looking at it from the perspective of circumstances within control, which are some times very avoidable. |
teechudleyy:I carefully read all you said, and i agree with most of it, but please get this - me saying im pro life is not about being judgemental about the issue or people who have aborted. That has never and will never help any1 in that situation. I know some people who have aborted pregnancies, and in most cases, some still continued having unprotected sex after that. For people who happen to carry unwanted pregnancies, they wear the shoe and they know where and how it pinches. My main base is that, others should listen, watch and learn from those peoples experiences and know what to avoid, cos it keeps re-occuring, following the same patern. |
karleone:I get you bro. I am fully PRO-LIfe, but id tell u this... even some people who say they'd never abort, when it comes down to it, and they find them selves in such situatons, some still will. Why? Cos of selfishness, thinking only of themselves at the moment, and then you'd hear things about no money, or no family support, or not being ready or something. I'm not being judgmental, but its d truth. Premarital sex is the reason for most abortion cases in the frst instance and as wrong as it is, last time i checked - condoms arent still expensive either. Abortions are wrong, plain and simple. Its murder. Its sinful. And like alota other things, there are implications. If people arent ready for children, then zip-up, or better still, use a condom. But people wont listen. |
Adet5:I just offered to help... I only asked that you help Zantaclaz in return, by giving him your intermediate 1 study pack, which is only fair. Where are you? How will you pick them up? |
Adet5:Where are you sir? Im willing to give you mine, if you'd give Zantaclaz your pack for int 1... |
karleone:I fully concur with the later part of your signature. Im sure people dont think of that. |
