mikeapollo: You guys in Seplat and Aradel are the most ''selfish'', ''self centered'' and ''discriminating'' I have ever known. You support and carry each other along. But you ignore your third ''colleague'', Why? The Yoruba say ''aaro meta ki da obe nu'', meaning a tripod provides firm and stable pot-stand that cooks the soup. So why are you people ignoring and isolating the "third leg"? There is God oooo The "colleague/third leg" is not forgotten yet. We will be back for him at the right time. |

awesomeJ: It's currently at 280p in London. Consider that while you're waiting.
If SEPLAT does another 10% to 6800, it will likely get into another extended period of illiquidity (full offers) Maybe yes, maybe note. Until we get Elumelu's motives and future actions, we may not know. Elumelu may want to increase his stake from just 20% |

ogawisdom: There is no Billionaire that doesn't use loan to grow his assets.
As a wise Investor you should start building relationships, acceptable collaterals and credit scores with financial institutions that can give you loan to strike when a massive opportunity presents itself.
Be prepared so you can hit it big when the time comes.
Learn from Billionaire Tony Elumelu simply used that money to buy Seplat shares. Wise man. Very soon my portfolio will be only Presco Aradel Seplat. I go just enter oil(edible and crude) They appreciate and they pay good dividends. |

HesInMe: I wish them much success, but the more interesting question is what happens if Ellah falls far short of the N155bn it needs to buy the oil palm plantation it is betting on to "arrive." if they fall short, it would be difficult meeting up with the balance. They will also have to source for money to complete the asset purchase. Then them go need to write looong forward looking statement. |

I heard American already bombing ISWAP in the lake chad region through Ghana. The bombing has been going on for three days now. No noise no protests no stock market crash. But if it's in Nigeria, NGX for don drop 10% daily. We know our problems(bandits and terrorists) we know we find have the solution and we won't seek or allow assistance. |

sterlingD: This man should refrain from making any more comments and allow continuous consultations to be carried out behind the scene to work out a resolution that is favourable to existing and intending investors .l am saying this because this 25% is still not sitting very well with investors If you read between the lines you will realise they don't have any intention of reducing it. He said the reduction will come in 2026, by then we are all trapped so if you wait till 2026 you pay whatever they decide to collect. He just gave us a hint that they will take 25%. |
