On a very serious note, it is a huge mess. if NSE does not make an investigation, statement/disclaimer and subsequent fine with respect to those responsible for such a bad quality result pasted on their platform, then it means they are complicit in the mess.

I cannot remember any company ever posting such poor quality result on the platform. In this era of technological advancement where even a simple android phone would have done better, there couldn't be any other reason for this mess than hiding the figures from the investing public

In summary, I want to buy 20% less than current price. If it does 10% fall today, and another 10% fall tomorrow morning then I buy.
I am not just buying the result, I am buying the future.

Not all delay in release of result turns out to be red flags. Seplat, Transcorp etc sometimes hold the release of result days after board meeting.

The referenced article was released by Renaissance Capital on the 16th day of June 2025. Since then, both zenith and Uba have paid interim dividends. So the report have been overtaken by event even as they have been proved wrong.

Going by q2 result, Aradel's current price is justified except if they don't do well in Q3 or if they share the money like they did in q1.

I pray so. Because I have som units of Access bank.
But I remain grateful to Sir Emma. It was after his disclosure of having sold off all his units of Access bank that I sold 50% of my holdings in the bank which I moved to Aradel, Transcorp and Presco.

I know Transcorp will not pay good dividends, but their price is good and they have a culture of quarterly improvements in results.

Oando is virtually a dead company!

Access Bank will still be around in 2125(that is in 100 years time).

Do not be emotional about any stock. Before Intercontinental bank, Diamond bank, Oceanic bank etc went down, they were considered some of the strongest in the industry. I remember when Sanusi was CBN governor, during his clean-up of the banking industry, Diamond bank was named amongst the first 4 strongest banks in the country. It only took a couple of years for the bank to be run down. That of First bank is well documented how Bisi Onasanya's administrator or CEO almost sent the bank to the great beyond.
If Access bank does not take time, one of the big banks will acquire Access at very cheap price.
