EDUECO: ACCESSCORP has just manipulated its Q2 2025 result to make room for the financial cost for its international acquisition or expansion spendings.
Remember a significant portion of many Nigerian banks' profits in 2024 was as a result of foreign exchange (FX) revaluation gains, particularly from the devaluation of the naira in the previous year.
Interim dividend is likely when Q3 2025 result is released;or a final year dividend of ₦2.5/₦3/₦3.5 is most likely possible by April or May 2026.
A final year EPS of ₦8 for 2025 is definately possible. An EPS of over ₦3 at half year can easily take care of dividend for the 2025 financial year. So you think CBN will let them pay N3 from eps of N8? I think N1 is more likely |

KarlTom: Told ya Their total daily production plus interests in other assets is set to equal or even surpass that of Seplat. Do you know that upon completion of the renaissance/spdc deal, they were able to almost double the production of that Asset? The government praised Renaissance for that feat which increased the Country's daily crude oil production. Meanwhile ND Western also has a different oil asset apart from their 50% stake in Renaissance. |

HesInMe: Lol. It's not that bad na. Let's say they make N13 EPS this year, which is conservative. Even if you slap PE of 1.5x, which is low, that's N19.5.
Although that's 20+% down from current levels sha...
It's the relative underperformance on a grand scale vs. GTCO that is shocking. It's like man vs. machine. Access should be firing its entire board and senior management if they had any shame. Half year eps is N3.72. that is not so good. I pray they achieve eps of N13 like you hope. But from this result and eps of 3.72 in 6months, the price should fall. Maybe that's why they first released fake results to shore up the price before the real thing(although I don't think Access bank released the first fake results) |

HesInMe: What a mess. 50% drop in EPS. I remember when people were arguing that recapitalization wouldn't meaningfully impact EPS because banks are money machines. Not so. Can't defy gravity forever. N15 is possible |

bastardson: Abeg guyz should I sell my Access for PZ or any other sensible stock.
This has been the most stagnant stock in my portfolio, I am tired already PZ is great but... Note that about N11.9billion out of their N13.4 profit after tax is from asset disposal and there is the little debt issue. So be cautious and wait for their q2 result. But the stock is good for long term |

YoshihideSuga: Sorry for my ignorance, what is the meaning in stock market parlance? It means that there are no/few buyers, just sellers. The stock is not liquid: Illiquidity refers to the difficulty of quickly buying or selling the stock. Essentially, a lack of liquidity means there is not enough trading interest or volume to facilitate easy, quick, and stable transactions |

Stockhunter: Okomu paid 30 naira half year. If this 10 is added that is 40 naira. Lets see what they pay for full year. Seems okomu is trying to become the dividend machine. I think i will top up my okomu more at sub 1000 lets see if we can drive it to 1500 that will be 50%. My grouse with stocks that are this high is that block trade of 100k units, the price may not always move that easy. Though it is a gift and also a curse cos as e no easy to move up it wont also fall recklessly... with N60 eps they pay N40 as at Q3 wetin come remain? |

KarlTom: Just read that Mr Cardoso will lead Nigeria's delegation to the WB-IMF Meeting in Washington while the Minister of State for Finance will join the delegation.
Makes me wonder why we have Ministers of State who can't deputize for their principal... Cardoso might end up as the new finance minister while they get another person as CBN governor |

Joyful365: Have you worked in any Nigerian company? If yes, for how long?
If you had the choice to continue working for the Nigerian company or travel to Canada to work in a similar role for the next ten years, which will you prefer and why?
These are straightforward questions. If you quote me without answering them I'll block you cos I'll believe you are just another uninformed propaganda tool. Please block me, I want to know how it feels. Dangote refinery is a Nigerian company not a Canadian company. |
Investment › Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Mpeace(m): 11:41pm On Oct 06, 2025 |
Joyful365: It's worrisome seeing how Dangote has employed heärtlėss laptop boys to defend his actions all over social media.
Before you take the word of any faceless person on the internet as truth and people centred, ask the person to mention how many years they have worked under any Nigerian employer and if they would continue such job for the next 10 years or prefer a work visa to Canada to go do the same job.
Their response will reveal their agenda - propaganda agents for Dangote and other wicked capitalists who don't mind énslaving every Nigerian so long they keep topping or getting mentions on Forbes billionaires list He should bring all his money and share to the workers cos they built him the refinery. If only you guys used this energy to struggle for a better minimum wage (other than N70k) all these arguments would not have arisen. The abroad you talk of, na minimum wage them dey earn their. You guys should leave dangote alone. The workers knew the pay, but insisted on the work. Even after the sack with continuous pay, they still insist on the job. Its unfair comparing Dang refinery with Oil exploration/mining companies. Dang refinery buys oil(sometimes in dollars) refines and sell. The oil mining companies just draw the oil from the ground and sell. Their operations are different so also their turnover. Compare them.with other refineries. |
