The more you look the less you see in this market. Periods like this are the greatest learning phase in my journey in the investment world. When people quote prices and you will be like its not possible and you see these stocks gradually getting to those prices, you realise that the greatest disservice any investor can do to themselves is been emotional to a stock,trying to go against the market trend amongst others. As my ogas here will say, hope is not a strategy.Now I see why people commit suicide after their net worth has been wiped out in the stock market. As I reminiscence about the 2008 crash and the happenings within the last 6 years, the saying that comes to my mind is - if you do not know who you are, the stock market is an expensive place to find out. As we all brace ourselves for the next phase in this market, I wish everyone the best in whatever strategy they have adopted. TGIF.

4DChair just as we are microsome to the market so is the CBN governor and and the minister of finance. do you think those 2 people are happy with what is going on in the market? The market is respecter of nobody . it has its own mind and there is a reason for the way it behaves. Nothing is working in the Nigeria stock market favour right now and no announcement will do jack . The race just begin. I feel sorry for those who are thinking they have lost money already it can't get worst. Sorry to burst your bubble. This notion that you shouldn't invest money you can't afford to lose is very wrong and obsolete. Its like saying you shouldn't fly in an aircraft if you are not ready to die in an air crash or drive a car if you are not ready to die in a car accident . Make i hear una contribution. its the bear season

Oga mi ,the opportunities are abundant but one might need to tarry a while to understand the actual direction of the Nigerian economy ; emphasis on the Nigerian economy.

There is a crisis of confidence at the moment and it seems to be gradually permeating every fabric of the economy. I sent an email to my account officer informing her of my intention to liquidate my tashere foreign currency FD investment but she has been very slow to act,which I find unusual.She even tried to entice me with a rate increase of 0.1% if I rollover on maturity. That is a sign that all is not well.

The outcome of the upcoming OPEC meeting is very crucial ..ie if OPEC still matters.

Like I've typed somewhere else, the agenda for that meeting should be the DISSOLUTION OF OPEC.

Please we all need to calm down, myjoy08 is not your problem, we all need to go back to the holy grail of investment- don't invest what you cannot afford to loose, I've lost 35% of my portfolio but exiting my position will not solve my problem because that was the cause of it. We are all running away and that will worsen the situation. If all of us stop panicking the market will rebound.

Sir, don't trust me but believe me there is nothing to fear about. The major issue behind this is the fall in crude oil and it is just a temporary issue. Nothing, I said nothing to fear about. Just be buying a good fundamentals stock in tranches if the means is there. Sir, once again, there is nothing to fear about. When election is over, I will like to see another gospel of fear that will be disseminated....

Well noted. Fundamentally, there is no justification for market crash at this time. Majority of this stocks are trading below their pe ratio compare to 2007/2008 saga. Sir, it is very complex to explain the situations of things in this period where everyone is experiencing some losses but one thing i know for sure is that "I DON'T HAVE ANY REASON TO FEAR". Thank you once again.
