My critic of ur action is that u did not have a plan and u just succumbed to your emotions, otherwise you would have exited long before loosing > 10% if that was your plan. My loss (since the bear starts) is still around 10% and even if I loose 30% I am not shaken because I know the quality of the stock I hold, and most importantly the cash is not needed till eternity

We now know better. Truth is you've recorded huge loses that may take a long time to recover in view of recent performances of your invested company. It's your call to make: sell and cut your losses or hold on. However, it bears restating that HOPE is not an investment strategy! I may appear prejudiced, buh I painfully had to exit my positions when I lost 50% in 3 weeks.

Since this year, the only stock that has made so much noise on the NSE is no other than oando.

A stock that traded as at January this year at about N29 and is currently selling at N23 despite all the noise, fuss, conference calls, tweets, newspaper and press release is nothing but an empty barrel.

Despite all the noise about COP deal, money on the table, receiving ministerial approval, selling off their assets, release of results, declaring dividend etc, it is still foot dragging on the NSE.

This stock is nothing but a joke.

If stocks like FO, okumu oil, conoil or even Ubcap made all this fuss and noise that oando did by now they will be selling far above their current price.

This stock will always be the #jokeoftheyear for 2014 IMO

Many of you guys won't understand what is @ stake, i'm very exposed to bank stocks after i pulled out of Oando and based on average gain of 5% today on the stocks in my portfolio, i just need n average gain of 3% to break even.
