Am happy the way people are responding to
encourage others meet their dreams. I intend to go
to canada for MSc and please I want to rely on this thread for
information flow from the experienced gurus in-
here.
I graduated with 2.2 CGPA 3.4. And I intend going for Masters in information System Security.
I will like to know, if I am qualified for Msc with my grade. Also, how to go about the whole processing. And, how to file my application in an easier way.
And the requirements. I've been reading other peoples' comments , but sometimes confusing.

Well, most universities require 2.1 but there are few exceptions and the best way to find out is by trying yourself, contact the school admission officers and ask directly or send them a copy of your transcript (student copy) for appraisal. Check: Concordia university, Concordia university college of Alberta and University of ontario institute of Technology. The processing of each school are usually different buh you can sure do find out by learning about them from each school's website.

Firstly, introduce her to the thread. Check www.aucc.ca for the list of canadian universities and from there you'll be able to browse through each school with her course interest and also check the tuition cost. The word cheap is a relative term but the usual suspect of schools with low tuition are (not limited to): Memorial Uni, Uni of Manitoba, Uni of Regina, Uni of Victoria, Uni of Winnipeg etc.

As for the Admission procedure, its nothing out of the extraordinary, check each school's website where the procedure is outlined and you also have the option of contacting admissions officers of the school if you have questions.

Its not compulsory but advisable.....we've had ppl who didnt add it to their app and got their TRV. The certs only proves what you've filled in your form or SOP is true about the schools u went to or the year graduated from school.

I think you shd be able to make use of your statement of result

What Cert did you use during ur uni days

WAEC certs are ready within 2years or so...not including the original will raise an eye brow except he gets an affidavit that he lost it or the school lost it or something related

Since 2005.....this one hard small o. Maybe you should go to WAEC office yourself and explain things and see if they can issue you something that can be used along with your Statement of result.

When did u grad from sec sch? You can always improvise, submit the school statement and add a waec scratch card to it for them to verify if there is a need.

You can add that to your "Letter of Acceptance" section, you all join them as a single file and not exceeding 4mb per section

Add the letter of sponsorship and everything relating to funds and your sponsor to the "Proof of Financial support" section all as a single file and not exceeding the same 4mb as above
