akinmoj: My Educational Background was stated in the form bur was not itemised separately My personal bal is more than 500k I dont have a landed property (what can i do?) I dont have any property. Am single. Broda, I actually meant you need to state your academic qualifications with the course read and the new course you're going for in Canada, to be able to know if there's any correlation btw previous academic qualificatn/work experience to what you're going for. Anyways you need to write a convincing statement of purpose as to why you chose the course, Canada and benefit to home country |

5 business days tho... that's not cool o. I need to attach payment confirmation to my submission and I really want to submit ASAP cos I'm seeing nairalanders say processing takes about 8weeks and I want that to start counting like NOW.

redribs: Hello my people,
So I wired my tuition to my school account yesterday. Does anyone know how long it takes to receive telex copies? I have received debit alerts from my account already and GT has failed to respond to my emails requesting for a payment confirmation document.
However, I know my nairalanders will definitely respond to me in a timely manner
cc @MrArams I used GTB early this year for wire transfer and I think I got the telex copy after 5 business days...you don't need to worry much cos mine was sent to my email. You should receive your copy latest next week friday. How did you cope with all their charges? |

akinmoj: Documents Submitted 1. Letter of Admission from the School 2. Sponsor's Statements of Account along with: a. Letter of sponsorship b. Sponsor's Certificate of Registration of Business name c. Reference Letter from his Bank with available bal of 10m plus 3. My School Certificates 4. My Bank Statement with balance of 232,945.23 5. My Current Appointment Letter 6. My Payslip for six months 7. My valid passport which will expire in 2016 8. Office I.D Card Reasons for denial
they cross some boxes with the following reasons 1. they said, you have not satisfied me that you would leave canada at the end of your stay. in reaching this decision, i considered several factors, including:
a. your travel history b. length of proposed stay in Canada b. purpose of Visit c. Your current employment situation d. your personal assets and financial status.
above mentioned are the crosses they made Well, you didn't state your educational background and the course you're going for. And is there any relationship between the course and ur current job or educational bkgrnd? Then having a bal of just over 200k is not enough considering u've been working for a while and without a landed property. What's your marital status? |

holyjacket: The 24,000 dollars is per year making it 48,000 dollars for 2 years. Bros, I'm not going for Ph.D (going for masters) and I believe your scholarship covers tuition, cost of living etc and you have other possible source of funding thru RA and TA assistantships. Can you please state what your scholarship covers and if the school assures any other possible source of funding? IMO I’ll advice you to add a SOA (even if na tasere moni dey dia) and get the school to state you are eligible to earn more by the other means of funding... And if you can't get money to add....you can apply like that and hope for the best. The average processing time is 8 weeks cheers |

newbie2014: Have you gotten a token for internet banking purposes ? I don't think it has anything to do with having a token or not, a token is not even required in this case. Could likely be network problem.....if u can try again later, or Insufficient funds. Most likely the former |

holyjacket: I'm about to apply online for study permit but i need some clarification. I have a full scholarship (24,000 dollars) for Ph.D at the university of alberta for the first two years. The other 2 years is based on academic performance. This should be a good proof of funding abi? I need ur advice I 'll start by january 2015, so i don't have much time. Yes, It is but might not be enough... you need to add your SOA or your sponsor's |
