Bro life is not tuff.you need a good proper risk management and decipline to make it in future trading.this is why there is rule to use 10% on every trade.let say you spot a very sure opportunity thats when you can use 20%.with that your $2k bro.you can open position with $100 on cross margin and use the rest $1900 to place stop loss.you will never get liquidated especially if you are good with technical analysis coz your liquidation price will very far and if price is going against you then you can switch to hedge mode.you can open short with another $100 at same time while your long position is currently running.with hedge mode you are still winning cuz you have long and short open same time.you can simply cut your loss on long and left short to run.

Education is very important bro.i get liquidated on that same 10x with gala last year.i have to seat back and ask myself why some guys are using 50x without getting liquidated and me I used 10x and get liquidated.what are they doing that am not doing.thats when I discovered using 5-10% on a trade.basically cross margin was created for that.with cross you can set stop very far.since then i don't get liquidated anymore but I just loss and stop loss will safe me

Greed will always push you but decipline will keep you safe.if you loss just 100-200$ on that trade you will still be in the business and can probably make it back on other trade cuz opportunity is endless in crypto.but now you are out and need to make deposit again.this is the kind of question you need to ask yourself before you make decisions.sometimes you just need to seat back and watch other make money.i never even trade future this month with all the double bottom and top on gmt and ape.

Presently I'm a position with negative 700% ROE (Return on Equity),i go to sleep peacefully,i dont even think of the trade because i know i cant get liquidated. My liquidation price is around 21000. I actually forgot to close the position when i was in profit,thinking i had already closed the position. And thats because i have a number of binance accounts i manage for friends. For the fact that i have put in place proper RISK MANAGEMENT tactics,thats why i didnt get liquidated. No loss,just floating loss ! And floating loss is no loss once your position is still open.


Market is never wrong
It doesn't care about how much you lost.. You lost your house or you make billions..


So don't force market to make money
Please have patience.

And don't think you are gonna miss something FOMO

Like two months before people were crazy for dot buying at 50$ that it's never gonna come down.

It was meant to be a quick flip

Let me share some rules/tips for flipping (scalping) with you.

Using Trailing stop method; once (Take profit 1)tp1 is done put (Stop Loss)SL at entry. This saves traders who can't afford any loss, So put SL at entry once PNL goes above 50-60%.
When tp2 is done don't move sl to Tp1 rather just keep sl at entry
When tp3 is done then move sl to tp1.
With time after you have mastered this, you can always twerk it just how you prefer.

What price did you enter so we see if it can bounce to break even?

What leverage are you using?

Even if 38k does not hold, 37200 is another strong support.

You can DCA at those 2 prices.

Hold on before you close your position. Whats your liquidation price,is your liquidation price below 37500 usd? I am asking because "if" a Liquidation wick should occur ,it will be touch the price region of $37.5k to $38.5k because Bulls are likely to get a nice long entry around $37.5k to $38.5k.

Let say you have 500 usd to trade futures. And the current price of bitcoin is 42,000. In your case, you used all your 500 usd to buy btc at the price of 42,000. Hence, your entry price will be 42,000. But instead,do this ; use 100 usd out of your 500usd to buy btc when the price=42000.
At further dip,say when btc falls to 41500,buy again 100 usd worth. And say further dip went to 41000,buy a 100 usd worth. Say again it dips to 40500,buy a 100 usd worth. And lastly,if it drops to 40000,then use your remaining 100 usd to buy at that price. The effect; your entry price will not be "42000" as you have using your approach,it will be far less than 42000. Hence,your liquidation price ,which in your case is around 37,000,will be less than 37,000. Thats it about that,though other twerks dey.

Mind you,it is always a good practice to set this order already (open order) so that incase of a Liquidation wick /downward spike,your order can get executed.

I'm sorry for the late response, today has been a busy day for me. I actually saw your message on time but I didnt want to reply with "a sentence", I wanted to take my time to write elaborately.

They are projects which have come to stay considering the usage (applications),the tech, the team (non-faceless profiles), the community, all of it.

For altcoin GEMs I believe in and that I am comfortable holding for ages… not even looking at the price.

Sometimes,a friend i trade for often asks me why didn’t you sell that… because the gems I am holding, I don’t want to sell at +40%… that thing has too bad risk to be sold at +40%, I can sell ethereum at +40%… but not a coin/token with a low cap. I want up to  3x; 5x; 10x or more on a gem, or will cut it when the project is no longer prospective (like bzrx with shown competition).

I am always mentally prepared! 3 times out of 4 you will lose, miss out on 30-40% gains… but once you win, you win 10x… makes it all worth it. And it’s less stressful.

I asked myself what’s worse for me, to lose on a coin that at some moment had +40% gains or to book 40% and to see the coin doing 400%, then 800% and then going for 1000%?

For me, personally, the latter was the answer, so I formed my strategy.

Every strategy is right, if you form it for yourself, knowing your PERSONALITY and with what you will be COMFORTABLE AND HAPPY.

I have been into crypto since 2012/2013,that's the year i created my first wallet. I have been burnt severally,but I keep the race alive,gathering experiences every now and then. I'm the type of person who is shooting for the big win. Not caring about the process !

Some 20 years ago or thereabout while I was still an undergraduate,I had much similar experience on several occasions.

A particular occasion I would never ever forget was as a result of my Dad's (Gods blessings forever be on him) response when I asked him "Why am I the only one he called to ask for help in the midst of you (Dad) and other well-to-do people in the gathering. My Dad said "It's because he has sampled everyone in the gathering and he came to a conclusion you are the only person with a jjc look". I really smiled that moment,he smiled too,a smile that showed he was glad I helped the beggar with some money and a smile that warned me never to loose guard and be watchful.
