jay bee: Note that you haven't really shot yourself in the foot identifying your weakness. You have also used your weakness to highlight another strength of yours (being prepared to work so as to meet deadlines). That is where i am homing in on. . . . It is also important to give a robust and balanced description of one's strenghts as this will overshadow any weaknesses given! |

Jobs/Vacancies › Re: Tricky Interview Questions That Most Jobseekers Fail To Answer by MrCrackles(m): 10:59am On Aug 20, 2009 |
Gentlelady: What are your major strengths and weaknesses? Make your personal strengths count and talk about your weakness and let them know what you are doing about it. For example my strength is my ability to learn fast and excellent memory while my weakness is delegation. I always want to do things myself to be sure it is done well. I am conquering that by training my subordinates and giving tasks ahead of deadline so I can cross check before final input is given out. This one right here is really tricky. . . . It is imperative to turn the table with the "weaknesses" by talking about how you can turn or what you have done to turn them into a "strenght" That is where most people stumble! Highlighting loads of weaknesses can ruin things for an interview candidate at times And the Interviewers wont expect you not to have one or two or more "weaknesses" so be careful and dont claim "you dont have any" |

aysometin: Mccrackles, I had no idea o!!thanks. I actually thought huge loans were given out as capital for reasonable business ventures that the banks are sure would yield profit. That means the banks own the majority of the blame, due to greed and corruption they give out loans to whoever, whether he has the ability to pay or not. The problem is the bank to be honest. . . The banks have failed massively especially in the areas of compliance, risk analysis and following due basic banking codes and procedures I am sure most of the names on that list didnt even drop a collateral. . . .I can bet that Your influential status in that country alone can swing anything your way! Nigeria is bleeped up! |

aysometin: Arisekola Alao has no business borrowing money, he's got no business skills!! In as much as i agree with you that Arisekola is daft and doesnt know fuc.k all, i still dont think you borrow money only to do business! It is the duty of the bank to assess your credit worthiness, the reason why you need a loan and if you will be able to repay! You could borrow money for any other reason apart from business but as long as you are able to pay back, most banks will lend |

I dont agree the economic downturn is tearing marriages apart and even if it does, i think it is just a minute contributary factor. . . One has to look at the rate at which people are getting married nowadays People are marrying each other for the wrong reasons nowadays due to increased pressure and all. . . Compatibility remains the biggest reason why marriages break up and not economic downturn! |
