This is a big victory for Nigeria. Congratulations to the Nigerian and American forces that pulled off the operation. At least, the rest of the world can see that Nigeria is not a disgraceful country. We are a country of exceptional human beings who are willing to cooperate with the international community to deal with all existential threats to the good of humanity.

I am also glad that President Trump recognizes the complexities of the mission despite the collaboration between the two countries. Fighting terrorism is always complex even for the richest and most equipped army in the world.

Now, imagine what Nigeria alone has to face in dealing with the various security challenges facing the country. Overall, kudos to President Trump and President Tinubu for working together on this. With more cooperation, a lot more can be achieved.

While I can't say for sure if Obi would deliver as a President, what I am 100% sure of is that, he will never willingly walk away after 4 years in the saddle.

Reasons:
1. He is still a black man, and Nigerian.
2. He's too desperate
3. His past promises to remain in political parties; promises he never kept.
4. Nigeria is too complex and too drenched in so many problems. Hence, 4 years is too short to make meaningful impact as a civilian President. Moreso, because, even if he were to win, his party might not be in control of the National assembly.

While I know that Nigerians are easy to carjole simply by saying what they want to hear and appearing like a saint, but for his own sake, he should desist from making a one term promise, one even him deep down knows he can't keep.

Like Tinubu promised stable electricity or no re-election, but failed to deliver, the power hungry North will go for Obi's jugular in 2031 if he wins.

Obi is a very peaceful politician that doesn't like toxic politics i don't think he will fail to keep his promise knowing fully the consequences you and I know even kwankwaso will never support him so no need for all these fears.
