As much as I admire Xiaomi though and currently using one of their low budget phones, one thing I noticed on this thread is we overhyped the brand as if its better than Samsung or huawei.. But funnily when someone with a lesser brand hype their phone we tend to condemn it... Xiaomi doesn't have a stand in Nigeria but I can bet you when they fully integrate into our market they will become as useless as tecno and Infinix....


Remember likes of tecno and Infinix started with low budget but awesome phones until they became Oga....

Worldwide the Xiaomi Brand is kinda accepted with targeted market but if they start targeting our market this low cost stuff will definitely change...

Poco is 100 k plus Samsung and IPhone are more expensivve.... SO CUT Infinix some slacks though...

I personally use the qcy qmo5, more expensive o... But the quality is a blast... The wires are thicker, over 105dcb, the loudest earpiece I've ever used... 34ohm....amd the comfort is mad gaan, could wear it and it does not feel like I have anything in my ears, very comfortable... Noise cancelation is lit,...


The remax 610d on the other hand is pure bliss... Not as loud as the qcy but clarity is just on point, clear solid bass, comfortable,...
Only down side is for some reason the white feels cheap... But it's cheaper than the qcy.

Finally on EU Rom from Lineage Os. My Mix 2 visited brickland briefly while flashing d EU ROM. It stopped at MIX logo while flashing d ROM despite did d usual stuff of wiping davlick cache vendor data and system,left internal memory untouched and clicked install on d TWRP to install the ROM and lazyflasher . I was getting 'No ROM installed' while rebooting into system. Tried over and over but same result. I eventually flashed d EU ROM omitting lazyflasher and rebooted into system but stucked at MIX logo for hours. I also tried Orange Recovery but no show.
Way out :I downloaded the Global Stable ROM 1.64Gb size but just b4 I flashed it with Twrp an idea came up. I clicked on wipe - - - - >advanced - - - >format data, type 'yes' to format data and then went back to install d EU rom with lazyflasher. Now rocking EU rom. My BP clocked 400/110 mmhg like Onoghen's

When i switched to redmi 5plus i told them its 66k thanks to jumia dem no fit argue cause the phone too sweet. They are even like this your phone powerful oo.

Makes sense, many are starting to see the light. Truth is the chipset on many of the no nams chinese brands (no name in the sense that not popular here) use better materials at low prices than the crap transsion sell to them at high prices. I commend you for spreading the word just like i am also doing.

I posted those pictures because I wanted to make a point. Before anyone can degrade a phone's camera, they should be sure they know the comprehensive settings of the said camera.

How many phone users know about ISO, Aperture, Dynamic Range, and more? Some can't even do the basic settings, yet they will be quick to flaw their camera.

Apparently, these same pictures I shot with the R5+ are marginally (if you know, you know) better than some pictures taken on the note 5 or RN6. Reason? I know my camera more than then do.

Sometimes, it's not all about the lens, but the skills and efforts put into taking a shot. I've seen people complaining about the camera on the iPhone X , what would you call that?
