AKUPSME: Good morning everyone .I have been up since 9pm researching the best school to apply for a Masters Program in Electrical/Electronics/Computer Engineering. I came up with three choices: Memorial University of Newfoundland University of Manitoba University of Saskatchewan
My people please help me with your ideas considering Tuition and cost of living/Job availability during and after Studies. I am searching for the most affordable. Any other University addition Will be highly appreciated Thanks for your time. I guess by best school your talking based on tuition and not ranking... If tuition then you have them listed already. Apply to the three schools. Don't do jst one application even if you have 4.0 CGPA. For High blood pressure check ni |

chimah3: I totally get you. But the important question is...will the Visa officer understand from your point of view. I usually advise applicants that 'If any part of your application doesn't add up in your head, chances that it wouldn't to the VO is high'.
With your years of experience and what you intend to achieve with the training you are applying for, I think it is only proper to act as your sponsor! Leave family issue of who will cater for your family in your absence. You will sort that out happily when your successfully collect your visa!
About the program you are going for, it is left to you to convince the visa officer in your letter of explanation why you are going to spend so much on an international degree and why you have chosen to not study in your home country! You need to do a lot of work and research on this letter and explain everything in full details and facts to back up your claims!
I wish you all the best! Feel free to share on this thread any issues you may encounter in your application process. We are one big happy family!!! The finance shouldn't be an issue here your major constraints is "purpose of visit" considering age and experience. However, Use your home tie to kill this issue. If you are yet to resign pls reconsider and if possible resign when you get your visa as you are giving up another very good home tie via resignation. Rather get study leave which you can call off latter on if necessary. Your SOP is your only savior on this. Tell the judge (V.O) how you can't wait to come back to be with your beloved family hence the reason for the choice of 12 months program. "With evidence" I dont know how much time you have you could register your company if you haven't done so and tell the judge how your travel is in line with your dream and passion of devoting all your time in your newly registered business "with evidence" Tell the JUDGE via SOP of your 12 months plans to carter for your immediate family in your absence "with evidence" As per the payment issue. Yes it is expected you hav enof fund after retirement. Get ur inlaw to move the money into your account and pay the whole tuition via form A. Let the V.O worry about your living expenses which you shouldn't have just about CAD20k as you have family back home to support even if wifey works. If you do this judiciously, you CAN'T be denied visa even if you carry a full virgin passport provided God has chased your village people away from your destiny! |

Oben209: Please give examples of home ties I already did. Please more shoulf be added to the list as those were the ones i can recall for now. This home tie issue is the most tricky aspect of visa application. As av seen lots of people with so much cash yet denied visa not just canada even U.S and ordinary U.K visa. @canadian nurse @maziude and those that have there trv already pls add more examples of home tie. Thanks |

Oben209: What about including a CAC which is registered in my name If such business is fully operational with evidence of transactions if possible tax clearance cert its good enough. That brings you back to convincing the judge (VO) via SOP how passionate you are to pursuing ur dreams via your registered business and why Nigeria is the main place(market) if not only place such business can thrive and how you can never trade your business and ideas regarding it for anything. In summary build your SOP around your business to strengthen your home tie because most businesses today can be conducted online and this judges knows this. |

TRUEPATRIOTLOVE: I'm sorry for being very rude to you. Please forgive me, I wrote with anger and pain in my heart. I should have responded with maturity. Once again, i'm sorry. Men sin not when they actually commits the sin but rather when they fail to acknowlege that they have sinned and most importantly say I am sorry. I love this spirit. |

DaRealman1: What then do you classify as home tie? 1. Paid Job where you can be given an introduction letter and or study leave (preferably with pay if possible) 2. Family Thats if one is married. 3. Registered business with verifiable documents 4. Landed Properties in your name (with evidence) 5. Bond letter This is usually from your work place after you have gotten your leave with pay which states that you are mandated to return and resume work (usually the duration of the time of your study). This and the finance section of your (all) study visa application are the most important. |

MagnaB: Hello guys, my travel visa has just been approved this 20/07/2019 for my Master's program in Engineering Management at University of Ontario Institute of Technology (UOIT) and i am to begin my program this September 2017 and i can't find accommodation yet. Is there anyone around Oshawa who can help me with accommodation for just a few days or weeks just for me to sort accommodation. I promise my stay will be very short. I just need somewhere to stay in the mean time before i sort myself out. I look forward to a response. I'd suggest the formular we used in the U.K it surely would work. Google up Nigerian Churches in Oshawa. Try to establish contact even if you can't no worries. You probably should book your flight to arrive weekend, on time for Sunday service. After Church service walk up to the pastor or church workers and plead your case of temporary accommodation. 101% chance you will get one at least for few nights. You might as well find a flatmate in the process. However, For ease and comfort try booking a student hostel kind of hotel for 3days if you are trying to save cost. Cos in central London you can get a hostel accommodation per night of £10 when normal hotel lodging is about £50 and above. Rule No. 1. Never forget to ask questions Rule No. 2. Always ask questions and don't assume Rule No. 3 Ask Questions. Now i ask my question, what was your first degree? This Engineering Mgt sounds cool. Thank you. |

VeecThorr: Hi, I'm going to apply for my Canadian study visa in a couple of weeks for my Bachelors degree. I want to know the documents I should attach to the application. I'm 17 btw if that helps and going the paper route. Thanks! Firstly, No easy route to success. The answers to your questions are contained in this thread so try to read up from 1 to 486. This is after you must have done a little Google search on the subject and a proper visit to CIC website. Finally, you can then ask for further clarifications on things you find confusing. Thank you. |

I sincerely wish to further my education, i do not know if i should still reapply with the same course and school for Sept 2017. I'd suggest you try express entry with your over 5years experience. However if your school offers option to differ your admission, *I further suggest you differ as Sept is already here. **If you must apply again, please pay the full tuition fees. Let them bother with just leaving expenses which you must cover convincingly. ***Work on your home tie as it appears your job here isn't enough. Kindly get your firm to issue a letter stating you have a bond with them that mandates you to return upon completion of your studies. ****Finally, attach documents and reciepts to back up any thing you submit or claim in your SOP. VO are humans trained like judges and only works with the evidence they have before them. Having successfully secured U.S visit visa, U.K study Visa and Shanghem visa....I humbly state that: By Gods grace, All Visa applications are very simple and straightforward once we understand whats required of us in all honesty and sincerity.
