My Baba's house (4 bedroom apartment wey dey completely furnished and finished) was destroyed today on grounds that the government wants to build an airport there.

The funny thing be say there'll be no compensation whatsoever from the government (nah wentin dem talk).

It's really painful cause almost all of us follow mix cement in order to build that house and now nothing dey to show for it. My mama don cry tire.

The house was located in Idah, Kogi state.

1. What title does your father have over the property?

2. Is that land under Government acquisition, particularly Committed acquisition? A Surveyor will tell you this.

3. Was a Notice of Revocation issued and was it published in an official Government Gazette? A lawyer can help you find out.

A. Money
B. Structure
C. Strong followership

You can't win with only 1. You need money and either B or C.

For example, Buhari contested for Presidency severally and lost because he had only C. He didn't have A and B. It was when he went into partnership with those who had A and B that he finally won.

Peter Obi's first election as Anambra Governor, it was Chris Uba who took care of A and used A to get B. If not, Peter Obi won't have won. His second term was as a result of A, B and C which he got by virtue of incumbency.

It will be delusional to think that Peter Obi will go anywhere without A and B. Votes that win elections are not on twitter.

The politicians in the North are not for GEJ Presidency. In fact, they are the ones fighting tooth and nail for Tinubu. They are doing this because they have vested interests and they know Tinubu is capable of taking care of their interests as he has a long history of doing so.

The people drafting GEJ into this race are those who can never win elections on their own. The so-called cabal are yesterday's men who were living on meagre pension before Buhari became President, Malami who ran away from Kebbi guber primaries, one recharge card seller in Katsina who got to Aso Rock became a billionaire overnight and some other electoral liabilities who can't even win their wards.

Bashir Ahmad collected his own wotowoto yesterday. With Federal might, he ran away from the venue of the primaries. Malami that is giving them legal advice saw failure staring at his face in Kebbi and decided to run away.

As it is, Buhari is playing defensive politics by hiding and shifting goal posts. All that has an expiry date, he will be forced to do for GEJ what he couldn't do for Malami, Bashir Ahmad and Co. It is not Tinubu running, it is interests running.
