The bolded is a very reckless guess. Kwankwaso will NEVER deputise for an Obi, never. Go and ask around if Kwankwaso.
Kwankwaso has made men who occupy various political offices. He has structure, he has a cultlike followership in the North. Can Obi match that?

Give Peter Obi PDP ticket and give him 5M votes in advance, APC will still beat him like a drum. Not because he's a bad candidate, but the type of politics we play here ehn, a lot of factors don't favour him.

Naah, Peter Obi is not even a major factor in PDP. He doesn't have a chunk of delegates, he doesn't have a political warchest, he doesn't have political acceptance in the far north with the highest voting populations.

Obi's biggest problem is that in 2019, his political base gave the least votes to the PDP. That is actually troubling to any party that seeks to wrest power from a party like the APC.
