Castos: Last three months, I was in Asaba one early sunday morning on a fresh accident site. Can you imaging that while we were running here and there, some people where busy snapping while the victims were still in the badly damaged car. What has the media done to Nigerians that we can't just help first other than to snap for the sake of our blogs or Nairaland. It's very bad and this issue must be properly addressed. @OP, I believe you could have saved a life that night yet, your were more interested on making frontpage on Nairaland.It happened around 10pm. Saw it 3am. I had to stop because I thought it just happened so as to help the victims. I glanced and realised it didn't just happen. You fit stop for highway 3am with trucks honking? 1 Like |

The other accident that happened in the afternoon just ahead (on the bridge) was said to have claimed lives. Decided not to upload the pictures before they start insulting me instead of talking about the solution to the accident which often happens around that part of the express. |

We were coming from a show when I managed to take the picture as it was late night. I'll go back there early this morning to get more clear shots. The accident involves one 7up company lorry and over 8 cars. Earlier on, there was an accident that involved a truck that fell, a tiny light Toyota camry, 2004-2006 Toyota camry and one other truck. No life was lost! As I went back there in the morning, I saw the owner of the camry (tiny lights) who explained how everything happened that it was the 7up truck that caused it due to brake failure, around 10pm. The other accident that happened in the afternoon just ahead (on the bridge) was said to have claimed lives. Decided not to upload the pictures before they start insulting me instead of talking about the solution to the accident which often happens around that part of the express. ----------------- Just so u know, I wasn't there when it happened.

mikkyphp: bro you think its everyone that is after fuel economy to the detriment of a sharp and responsive car? forget what local mechanics tell you about V6 cars...I own an I4 Accord and i tell you, its slow from rest and not very responsive unlike its 3.0L V6 elder brother. Only real car enthusiast will appreciate this, and not those running around trying to drive for 1 week with 500naira pertrol.Most of them do not know anything about engine. They just believe what their roadside mechanics tell them. |
