A popular food joint that attracts numerous
people has left many baffled after its owner
confessed that she uses corpse water to make
food for people to eat. The shocking story
which was shared online by Gabriel A Ufot,
sounds like another script from Nollywood.
Gabriel Ufot said the food joint called Eka Udo
located on Aka road in Uyo is patronized by
high and mighty and that the restaurant was
said to have offered free food to its loyal
customers recently. But the owner confessed
yesterday, December 29, saying she uses juju
and water gotten from corpse to prepare her
delicacies which she sells to the public.

Angry people set the food joint on fire after
hearing about the incident.

Some plain clothes policemen on Friday
arrested and whisked to Abuja a journalist
based in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, Mr. Jerry
Edoho.

The journalist was identified as the Deputy
Editor of Ibom Nation Newspaper, a local
publication. He was arrested by the security
operatives and forcibly taken to the Federal
Capital over a post he allegedly put up on his
Facebook page involving Dana Air.

Revealing details of the incident, human rights
lawyer and activist, Inibehe Effiong wrote: "A
young man by name Jerry Edoho, a Journalist
and Deputy Editor of the Ibom Nation
Newspaper, from Eket Local Government Area
of Akwa Ibom State sighted me at the Ibom
International Airport, Uyo some minutes ago and
alerted me that he is being taken forcefully to
Abuja by a team of plain cloth security men
over a publication on Facebook.

He told me that he was tagged in a post about
the recent rumoured crash of a Dana plane
which was false. That upon being tagged, he
made a post like several other Nigerians asking
whether the crash report was true. The security
men are conveying him to Abuja via a Dana
flight that is scheduled to depart by 4 pm.

The security men confronted me for speaking
with him "without their permission". I retorted
that Mr. Edoho is a citizen of the Federal
Republic of Nigeria and that his right to freedom
of expression cannot be taken away. This
resulted in an altercation between me and the
security men whose identify I cannot
immediately ascertain. I understand that his
arrest followed a petition by Dana Air to the
Nigeria Police Force.

I am using this platform to urge both the police
and the management of Dana Air to respect the
fundamental rights of Mr. Edoho. He should be
released on bail pending the conclusion of
investigation into whatever allegations that have
been made against him.

This is a democracy, not a dictatorship."

Nollywood actress, Funke Akindele and her Producer here sband, JKC Skillz have launched a record label known as Scene One Records.

Artistes signed under the label include Mo’Eazy formerly signed under veteran, Darey Art-Alade. Others are Ruby and Pearl (members of Gemstones), MartinsFeelz and Sonorous.

“When I met JJC, I loved his talent so much, so, I told him why don’t we have a record label. I don’t know anything about music. My husband is a good producer and singer.

“We went out to look for fresh talent and here we are today,” the actress said.

JJC revealed that the couple are working on a television soap opera called ‘Industreet’.

He said: “They are also stars of the new TV show, Industreet. This is our baby, our project so please support.”

A pastor has been disgraced after he was
caught red-handed having s*x with a prostitute
who turned out to be a church member. It was
gathered that the church member who recently
joined prostitution was hried by the pastor for
a one nightstand.

However, all hell broke loose when Pastor
Chamunorwa Chamba of Sane Life Ministries
International based in Chitungwiza area of
Zimbabwe failed to pay for the s*x services
rendered overnight, prompting him to give the
hooker, only identified as Shanel, his printer as
surety.

“I am failing to make ends meet my brother so
I decided to visit Chigovanyika Shopping Centre
to hook up with men for s*x so as to earn a
living,” said Shanel.

“It was my first time since I go to church and
to my surprise, I met my pastor when I was
standing by a dark corner.

“Ndakanyara ndikanzwa kutya Mwari but there
was nothing I could do since I had agreed with
him for US$30. Ndakangoti zvechipfambi
zvandiramba.

“After reaching my place of residence, he
promised to pay me in the morning and I could
not deny him since I had recognised him.
“He was surprised to hear that I know him from
church and begged me to keep it as a secret
saying he separated with his first wife after she
caught him bonking another man.
“He disclosed that his second wife is not
satisfying him in bed and had plans to separate
with her.

“Madzimai eround yatinotamba visited me early
in the morning before pastor left my room and I
awakened the pastor to give me my money but
he only had US$4..

“I informed him about the visiting women and
he asked me to take them to shops so that he
could buy groceries and get cash to pay me.
“It was after his bank card failed by the till
point when I disclosed why he was at my house
to the ladies and he begged me not to disclose
our sexual encounter.

“He took me to his office where he signed an
affidavit form promising to pay my money by
the end of the day and he gave me one of his
printers as surety,” said Shanel.

The drama was witnessed by a small crowd of
people at the Pastor Chamba’s office after they
learnt from Shanel’s friends that he was paying
for s*x and people started taking photographs
and posted them on social media.

The pastor who confirmed the incident said that
Shanel was spreading falsehoods against him.
“I never had s*x with her; I borrowed US$30
from her the previous day and I only managed
to pay her US$4 as I looked look for more
money to pay the balance,” said Pastor
Chamba.

“She is one of my church followers that is why
I borrowed money from her,” said Pastor
Chamba refusing to disclose where he met
Shanel on the day in question.
