Feb 18th - Passport arrived Lagos Vfs
March 9th - Passport arrived Accra Vfs
March 9th - Passport enroute to Accra IRCC
March 24th - Passport arrived Accra IRCC
March 24th - Decision envelope sent to Accra vfs
March 24th - Decision envelope dispatched to lagos vfs
April 1st - Decision envelope arrived Lagos and is ready for collection
April 1st - Decision envelope picked up by DHL
April 5th - Decision envelope delivered to me by DHL

Roughly 6weeks altogether

2. This is my advice; If your company has a detailed online presence, submit just the reference letter in IRCC format. Otherwise, submit the reference letter and 6months payslips

I got an ADR to provide paystubs for one of my work experiences I provided reference letter for. I don't have any paystubs and I have only been able to get bank statements showing salary payments. Will this coupled with LOE fly? This is a job I left almost 4 years ago

Please has anyone observed the time between remedical and when it is uploaded on your profile? I you the emedical slip which I can use for proof but don't seem to have any way to upload it.
The panel physician says it'll take about 14 working days for them to upload it, not very comfortable with this because of the 30 day window provided by IRCC, any ideas please?

Yeah. You're required to pay the transmission fees. See details below:

This is the process to send your passport to Accra:
Submitting passport(s) to Accra VFS without using Lagos VFS.

Gather all documents required by IRCC and VFS Accra. Including payment teller(s) for the sum of GHC 405 to ( paid per person to vfs GH's account. (See further instruction on addendum 1 below)

Put all documents in an envelope and proceed to DHL or any courier of your choice and pay for a one-way delivery to:

Canadian Visa Application Centre(In Partnership with International Organisation for Migration),
Baptist Convention House,
Abelemkpe Road,
Abelemkpe,

VFS Global Accra, who will then submit to the high commission.

Payment can be made through any family or friend resident in Ghana. There are also agents who can help with this if neccesary.

Other Things to note:
1. Get your tracking number and monitor on DHL tracker till its recieved by Vfs gh
2. Wait for the VFS tracking details— they will give you update on when it will be sent to IRCC and when it will be returned to you
3. Wait for the return of your passport— VFS also uses DHL to return— you don't pay for it, it's included in the GHC 405

They have a number. But I don't have any them.

Also, I heard that Accra is taking time. What VO is advisable? My VO is Accra. Can I send my passport to another VO? Thanks fam.

1. Print out of PPR email.
2. Two passport photos. (Ensure that you follow the specification provided in the PPR mail).
-Not older than 6 months
-In Canadian PR dimension (refer to photo chart)
-1 detailed copy with the name and DOB of the person at the back. Below that, write or stamp the Name
& address of photo studio with date photo was taken.
-A second copy for each person is left plain
3. Height and eye colour info. (There is a height and eye colour chart section in your PPR email. You can print that page and fill).
4. International passport.
5. CVAC form (fill only page 2 of the form).

Transmission options;
1. You can send directly to Accra vfs to save time
2. You can send to Cairo
3. You can send to London. However, you'll need to have someone in the UK that it can be delivered to after it has been stamped and the person will then send it back to you.

From mails sent to me by Vfs, collection of decision envelopes in-person at the VAC is not permitted until further notice. Use the DHL 2-way courier system. That is, Dhl delivers to vfs, after a decision is made, Dhl picks it up from Vfs, and delivers it to you.

If you don't use the 2-way option, Vfs will ask you to pay a certain amount to deliver your envelope to you. This is usually more expensive than using Dhl.

Please my wife was added to my application during the long pandemic wait period (via web form) and my profile was finally updated in February 2022.
We were both asked to do medicals (remed for me actually) and same has since being done and MEP on 17th March.
However, there has been no update since then, just frustrating silence
Will she be required to do biometrics and if so how long does it usually take before we receive a response on the next move
Also, could there be anything being the cause of the delay??

Delay is normal throughout the whole process and IRCC will contact you if they need anything. Be patient and hopeful.

I think your passport is en route to vfs Accra from vfs lagos. This normally takes 2weeks.

Yeah. Just checked and it says approved. Thanks for the heads up. I even got 3mails from vfs on the 24th. The decision envelope is on its way back to lagos.

If the fixed deposit shows a date later than today, one would still need to explain the source of funds. Does that not fall back to a second Deed of Gift? Does it not raise more questions than answers?

Your VO already advised on documents to submit. So you really do not have a choice. My suggestion:
1. Submit the 6months SOA
2. Use gift deed to explain the huge deposit
3. Write a LOE explaining in earnest the emergency you had to solve. You can even attach a separate SOA to the LOE to show when you withdrew the money to solve said emergency.
4. Submit a letter of non-indebtedness from your bank
5. Pray and hope for the best

The money was used for personal emergencies and is already spent to be honest, which is why I'm asking if another Deed of Gift works fine.

Personally won't recommend doing another gift deed. My advise would be to put all the monies in fixed deposit and submit a fixed deposit certificate.

If IRCC sent an ADR for an updated POF, can one use another Deed of Gift for the POF? Note that a Deed of Gift was used for the entire funds required during the initial PR application in November 2020. However, there is currently little money in the account, so can a new Deed of Gift for the entire funds required (#4.5m) be used again? Is this an issue based on the experiences of those that have been asked to submit an updated POF recently? Please advice on the best action to take. Thank you.

Hi. What did you do with the gift deed?
Treasury bills? Fixed deposit?
I'd advise to submit an updated certificate of what ever option you used.
If you didn't do anything with it, submit 6months SOA.

Lol. In my opinion, I think they are accumulating them. When it reaches the required number, they send them back in bulk. That is why it may seem longer for some people and shorter for some.

Hello everyone!
As much as I'm trying to be patient and wait for this golden mail, I'm a bit worried. My AOR is Nov 2020 and there has been no update/change on my acct since I passed my Meds. & Biometrics. Everything is still being processed and I haven't received any ADR. I've called several times but always get the automated response and I've sent several webforms also but received just the generic mails.
Please guys, is there something I should do or should I just keep waiting??

You just have to keep waiting unfortunately. I waited for over 2years. A lot of people as well. But it will come eventually. Cheer up and keep your hopes up.

My package contains, the PPR letter, two passport photos -one stamped and signed at the back with my name and DOB, my international passport, two copies of my passport data page, the consent form and slip I was given when I did biometrics at the Lagos center.

You are good to go. Remember to fill the height/eye colour chat, and pay for 2-way courier.

This is news cos I used GTBank to fix my POF and I was given a fixed deposit certificate. But this was in 2019. Except maybe it is a policy change.

My opinion: If otherwise as stated above, you might get an ADR for proof that you were paid by the company depending on whether you already submitted such or used salary account as POF.

You're welcome. As per my GCMS notes, your employer is verified through their online presence or web based search. Since you submitted SOA showing salary deposits, you need'nt worry much.

This is why I usually suggest that if your company doesn't have an online presence, best to submit some form of proof. Could be SOA showing salary deposits or payslips.

Please o, I went for re med at IOM yesterday, after the whole exercise when I got to my hotel room, I got a message from them that I need to come for another xray. I hurriedly went to complete it.

Only for me to arrive my base this evening and see another sms from them that the radiologist require I take another xray.

The thing just taya me.

What could it mean?

Not to alarm you but may be they found tiny dots on the results which they want to clarify. If the x-ray is repeated and said dots are still visible, you may be required to do a sputum smear to rule out tuberculosis.
