The Apostles thought Christ would return in their lifetime. Thus the believers were encouraged to always meet to strengthen themselves in preparedness for the Day (the Return of Christ).

Moreover, the verse did not mandate, rather it advised. It is not like it is a sin to be absent neither does it sound like a law.

This is the entire and we are expecting the return of Jesus any moment from now. So this scripture appears more critical than ever before.

Also it is not just an advice. It is MANDATORY. that is why he said "like is the manner of some" (example: Bluntboy).

I also want to include that because a church bears a name does make it unbiblical. What a way to demonstrate negligence of the word of God and requirement to Heaven. What matters is that Church preaches and adheres to the full standards of worship and service/righteousness to God according to Scriptures.

How many of you chosen can dare go to places where the Catholics go proving funds, food supplies, Bibles and exhortation? Go to Iran, go to Iraq, go to an obscure Kenyan village, you will find a Catholic mission there with a church, a school and a clinic.

Catholics are covering every part of the world, including war torn countries, but you people are contended to dance around in your backyard. Who gave you the courage to even dare to compare your level of evangelism with that of the Catholics? Because of the little dancing around you do, you now think of yourselves as somebody.

As for miracles, they happen everywhere. The Catholics have a documentations of miracles because they always investigate first to separate truth from lies unlike your church (cult)

Mind you, I am a stubborn opponent of the Roman Catholic idol worshipping stance. But when it comes to evangelism and humanitarian services, no church comes close. No church goes as far as they go. Go to a village in the remotest places of South America, and you will find a priest evangelizing and trying to gather a church.

Don't be disrespectful. Your church does not come close to the Catholic Church when it comes to evangelism.

Roman Catholic mostly does Charity, not Evangelism. How many Catholics have you seen preaching in your area, or in the bus? Me, none.

Moreover, these christian sects practise idolatry and biblical heresies which is unacceptable to God, no matter what good works they are doing.

With exception of Jehovah's witness, Roman Catholics hardly do evangelism.

As for soul winning, The Lord's Chosen is one of the fastest growing churches in the world. I laugh in spiritual powers when you belittle us in soul winning. God is by himself bringing many people to Chosen.

Evangelism is the heart beat of God. No church does evangelism frequently like The Lord's Chosen in Nigeria.
If you can't beat us join us. Remember God sets abase the proud but lifts the humble.

The spokesperson of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) campaign in Kaduna State, Ben Bako, has been arrested by security operatives Saturday night.

The reason for the arrest is not yet clear as men believed to be State Security Service (SSS) took him to Abuja.

The arrest has been confirmed by the deputy director of publicity of the party, Yakubu Lere.
