The Arewa Youth Group, a group from across the 19 northern states have dumped President Muhammadu Buhari and former vice President Atiku Abubakar to endorse the Presidential candidate of People’s Trust ( PT), Mr.Gbenga Olawepo Hashim as their choice for Nigeria's presidency in 2019.

The group made this known through its National Coordinator, Malam Samaila Garba.

Malam Samaila Garba Garri ,National Coordinator of the group,Matasan AREWA na Dimokradiya( All AREWA Young Democrats ),said they were specifically, angered by the choice of Presidential candidates of the two major political parties who they alleged,had nothing new to offer in Nigeria.

Garba Garri,speaking in an interview in Kaduna,said they were thrilled by remarks made by Mr.Gbenga Olawepo Hashim on the plight and future of Nigeria and Nigerians ,insisting that now was the time to rally round Mr.Olawepo Hashim because he has the idea to make Nigeria a much better country.

Samaila Garri who said he was speaking for ten other youth groups in the North,explained that they were in Abuja when the Presidential candidate of PT addressed his supporters, adding that they were happy when he promised to pay N50,000 as minimum wage to Nigerian workers.

According to him,” Mr. Olawepo Hashim is a successful business man who has always been with the poor.He has been engaged in philanthropic activities and hardly spend a day without putting smile on faces.”

” From Hashim’s remarks on that occasion we understand he knows so much about the Nigerian economy and how to improve it,he is knowledgeable about the Nigerian people more than the sitting President and PDP’s flag bearer.”

” We also see him as a third force to be reckoned with,a bridge builder since he has biological link with the North.We have no reason to forsake him,we have every reason to deny others our vote in 2019 because it would surely be a disappointment at the ” next level” and the implementation of a selfish ” policy document ” we throw our weight behind the other major contenders.”

Samaila Garri said Mr.Olawepo Hashim as President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria,will attract foreign investment as he was known globally and reputed as a successful businessman.

” We have planned to organize a youth summit where we shall declare our unalloyed support for Gbenga Olawepo Hashim,welcome 20 other youth groups into our fold and map out strategy of convincing our elders,parents and peers in the Northern region on the need to suppport Olawepo Hashim and avoid been deceived by leaders of northern extraction who had continued to recycle themselves in power to our detriment ,” he said.

And just because you memorize textbooks doesn't mean every other Nigerian is a dumb or smart as you are, by the way if Americans invented most of the things in textbooks it might be important to let you know that Nigerians have invented a few things too.

2019: GBENGA OLAWEPO-HASHIM IS UNSTOPPABLE

The attention of the Gbenga Olawepo-Hashim presidential campaign organisation has been drawn to the activities of some unscrupulous elements fronting for some powerful interests in the All Progressives Congress (APC). The intention of these elements is to destabilize the Alliance for New Nigeria (ANN) in order to use the party platform to further the interest of the failed ruling party, the APC.

The said unscrupulous element, acting in alliance with a certain presidential aspirant who has been pretending to be campaigning for the office of president on the platform of the ANN, first launched a series of attack on the party in the build up to her congresses and national convention, which held in August 2018.

With his fellow travellers, this so-called presidential aspirant also circulated disparaging remarks aimed at impugning the credibility of our principal in the social media, where he sustained a vicious campaign along with his hirelings.

Having failed woefully in August to halt the march of the ANN to become the fastest growing political party, these unscrupulous elements in cahoots with their paymasters in the APC injected a lot of dirty money with the intent of compromising certain functionaries of the ANN.

This is in order to foist a prematurely organised presidential primary election on the party with the intent of producing a desired outcome by the ruling APC. We are confident that this latest attempt by these anti-progressive forces will fail just as their attack against the ANN failed in August 2018.

We are very much aware of a series of other plots to recruit disgruntled elements with diverted government resources to undermine the hard-won integrity of our principal by these forces running errands for powerful forces in the ruling party. This plot, like the previous ones, will fail by the grace of God.

Let it be clear that the Gbenga Olawepo-Hashim (GOH) 2019 Campaign Organisation is not perturbed or discouraged. The presidential aspirant we are presenting to the Nigerian electorate is a veteran of many struggles, right from his youth as a student union activist in the 1980’s, and was a pro-democracy activist in the early 90’s, aside being a businessman politician for almost two and a half decades. As a political “general”, he cannot be discouraged or distracted by the shenanigans of political boy scouts and apprentice politicians.

The mission for him remains Nigeria, the transformation of Nigeria’s economy from a poor 510 billion dollar economy to a 4 trillion dollar economy within 10 years, the reduction in poverty and the restoration of peace, unity and stability in Nigeria, a country that the ruling party has badly mismanaged.

Exogenous APC forces trying to destabilize us will not be allowed, even as strong as the military apologists populating the APC party may be.
