There used to be a time in Nigeria that the online investigative newspaper, Sahara Reporters is regarded as one of the most popular websites in the country. Year after year, the online news platform was rated among the most popular and visited website in Nigeria.

However, the website has in recent time, decline in popularity and patronage, despite having over 5 million followers on facebook and twitter combined. The 2018 website rating by Alexa, a Global website rating platform indicates that, Sahara Reporter is not among top 50 most popular website in Nigeria. This rating will surprise many keen follower of the controversial platform.

Sahara reporter, owned by popular activist and 2019 presidential aspirant, Omoyele Sowore has not broken any major news of late and Mrrights investigation reveals that the website is being careful to avoid unnecessary negative publicity that may affect the political ambition of its founder.

PT’s presidential candidate, Olawepo-Hashim, promises 4m jobs

Presidential candidate of People’s Trust, PT, Gbenga Olawepo-Hashim, has promised to create four million jobs annually, if elected president in the 2019 presidential election.

He said: “I am somebody who knows how to create jobs. I will create jobs for your children. I will create four million jobs every year by removing the obstacles to investment in Nigeria because it is only the private sector that can create jobs, not the government.”

He said there would be manufacturing and services jobs, apart from removing the obstacles to investment in Nigeria.

His words: “We are going to expand the economy from the $510 billion to a $4 trillion economy. That will be achieved with the New Nigeria Economic Development Plan. “We will pay workers minimum wage, stop killings and unite Nigerians. Nigeria has never been as divided as it is under the All Progressives Congress, APC, government today. “We will give Nigeria a government that will unite the country, secure the land and a government where Nigerians will be protected by the office of the Commander-in-Chief.

“Take the message to the polling units that you have a presidential candidate that is equipped to deliver. “Tell the people of Ondo State that they have a candidate who has done business for 25 years, creating jobs.” ‘’’I am not a parasite that has always relied on government. We have a lot of work to do in going to sell our party at the polling unit. The deciding moment is how many votes is counted at the polling unit.”

South West Women declare support for Olawepo Hashim, as he vow to tackle cancer

https://mrrightsng..com/2018/11/women-in-south-west-declare-support-for.html?m=1

Frontline Presidential Candidate, Mr. Gbenga Olawepo-Hashim has vowed to tackle cancer headlong if elected president in the 2019 presidential election.

The candidate running on the platform of People’s Trust (PT) told women group in the South West, under the aegis of Women for Hashim (WfH), that it was time Nigerian halt the devastating effect of cancer.

He stressed that the Cancer programme is dear to me, especially after listening to his daughter, Ifeaoluwa, who said: “‘Dad, I wonder how many Nigerian women can afford this vaccine at N33, 000.00 when the minimum wage is N18, 000? Daddy, when you become president, please make it free!’”

He added that the Federal Government of Nigeria under his presidency will sponsor vaccine for all girls from age nine to age 25. According to him, medicine had taught them that when these vaccines reach women in that category, there are very remote chances that they would ever have cancer.

“So we can vaccinate against cancer and that is what I am going to do for all Nigerian girls and young women. They will have the vaccines against cervical cancer when I am elected president in 2019. As Commander in Chief, I will do it within 6 months of being sworn-in. This is a major program for women that will protect them in the future against falling ill to cancer."

The presidential candidate further told the teaming population of women “I'm somebody who knows how to create jobs. I will create jobs for your children. I will create 4 million jobs every year by removing the obstacles to investment in Nigeria because it is only the private sector that can create jobs, not the government”

He said they will be manufacturing and services jobs, apart from removing the obstacles to investment in Nigeria. "We are going to expand the economy from the $510 billion to a $4 trillion economy. That will be achieved with the New Nigeria Economic Development Plan."

"We will pay workers minimum wage, stop killings and unite Nigerians. Nigeria has never been divided as it is under the APC government today. We will give Nigeria a government that will unite the country, secure the land and a government where all Nigerians will be protected by the office of the Commander in Chief. This is what I promise Nigeria .Take the message to the polling units that you have a presidential candidate that is equipped to deliver."

“Tell the people of Ondo state that they have a candidate who has done business for 25 years, creating jobs all over the world and in Nigeria. I am not a parasite that has always relied on government. We have a lot of work to do in going to sell our party at the polling unit. The deciding moment is how many votes is counted at the polling unit”

The women leaders took turns to eulogies Olawepo-Hashim, noting that: "We want a break, as change is inevitable. We have been neglected over the past decades. We are women for Gbenga Olawepo-Hashim in 2019," they said.

One of the women leaders and chairperson for Women for Hashim, Mrs. Folayan Adeyemi Choice, said the PT's Presidential candidate had already won their hearts and they would work collectively to ensure that he succeeds Buhari in 2019.

Other highlights of the occasion were the acceptance of hundreds into the People's Trust who were previously in other political parties, presentations and declaration of support to the Presidential candidate by over a hundred youth and women groups from across Yoruba land.

Buhari, Atiku not educated enough to rule Nigeria, says Olawepo-Hasim

The People’s Trust presidential candidate, Mr. Gbenga Olawepo-Hasim, has said Nigeria needs an educated person to become the next president for the country to move forward.

He said specifically that the presidential candidates of the All Progressives Congress and Peoples Democratic Party, President Muhammadu Buhari and Atiku Abubakar, respectively, did not have sound education to rule the country.

Olawepo-Hasim stated this in Akure, Ondo State, while speaking with journalists after meeting with his party leaders across the 18 local government areas of the state on Friday.

He said, “When we were governed by people who were more educated, Nigeria made more progress.

“Those people understood how a modern society should be. Let me give an example of Chief Obafemi Awolowo who was a lawyer, Azikwe, who was more educated. You saw the difference in the quality of their governance.

“Education gives you knowledge of how things should be organised. In the 21st century, there is a minimum level required for you to understand how international economics functions.

“What I’m saying is that PDP that is trying to make an issue out of Mr. President’s certificate are not better placed. There is no difference between two of them. There is no difference between PDP candidate and APC’s in terms of levels of education. They are both at the same level.”

The presidential candidate, who expressed confidence in winning the 2019 presidential election, noted that there were more votes in the North Central, where he came from; and the North Eastern part than any other region of the country, saying the big votes from the two regions and other regions would give him the victory.

On the issue of restructuring, Olawepo-Hasim explained that there was the need for devolution of more power to the states.

“I believe in the devolution of power from the Federal Government to the states, so that they can mobilise resources.

“I believe in moving power from the Federal Government to the state governments. I will address the lack of equality in the zones. I will create one state in the South-East region and that will be done within one year,” he stated

I don't mean in just 2 states. I mean several states?

Obviously you haven't.

Apart from Buhari and Atiku, there is no candidate with Hashim's crowd and in North central states, Hashim would pull more crowd than both Buhari and Atiku.

Hashim has far more spread than Sowore. Sowore's party has only 30 candidates, Hashim has about 200.

How can you even compare them

Apart from once u saw hashim on TV, have u heard from him again or till he makes news again? Talking of sowore, we both know he is far better than hashim... Is it intelligence wise? Capacity wise? Or the support and popularity sowore has?
There is no point trying to talk about why he isn't my candidate, at least, he can't be as worse as those men representing apc and pdp bt sowore is on a league of his own.
You are very funny bro. Election doesn't take place in the news or on the internet. It will take place at the grassroots and that is where Hashim has been working.

Did you say Sowore is better than Hashim? It seems you don't even know who you are talking about.

Without any attempt to demean Sowore, whom I like personally, he his far below Hashim in every standard.

Not in terms of pedigree, not in terms of capacity, not in terms of network, not in terms of sacrifice for this nation, not in terms of ability to fix the problem of the nation. Go read about Hashim so that you may be informed.

Thirdly, in the past 3 months, there is no a single day when Hashim is not in the news. Just search for the name Hashim on Google and you will see news reference everyday.

What you are mistaken for news is controversy.

Hashim is not interested in being controversial. He his focused on issues, not controversy.

Let's put our heads together to support a man capable of getting the job done.

Sowore's party has only 30 candidates out of possible 460. He doesn't come close at all.

Hashim's party has about 200 candidates. Theu are well spread.

So, let's support Olawepo Hashim
