Education › Re: Very Common English Language Errors by mrrock: 12:24am On May 24, 2010
You are free to make mistakes when you speak English language. English people do make mistakes too when they speak English same way you do make mistakes when you speak your mothers tongue. Remember English is not your first language.

My people please stop this trend of colonial mentality. Bob marley said "EMANCIPATE YOURSELVES FROM MENTAL SLAVERY". People like FELA, Marcus Garvey, Mandela have spent their lifes to set you free!!!!. Free your minds now.

Russians, Chineese, Germans, Arabs, Japanese e.t.c all those civilations in other parts of the world that are doing well today are not doing well because they learnt to speak English, infact they are doing well because of the opposite!!. If you travel to the above countries you find out they hardly speak English, this is the reason they are successful civilizations. Language is a very powerful tool. What you should be promoting is an African language like swahili not English language.

English have destroyed African reasoning and understanding of subjects like Physics, Chemistry, e.t.c these are the sciences that a civilization needs to develope it's own science, technology and therefore develope. The one reason Africa is lagging behind in science and therefore development is because as I said subjects like physics and chemistry e.t.c are being taught in schools in English language so students have to do the double works of understanding it's English interpretations first then the subject. This is not what the Russians, Chineese, Germans, Arabs, Japanese e.t.c do!!. These civilizations understands science in their own reasoning based on their language. Can anybody here tell me; what do you call TRIOXO NITRIC ACID in IGBO, HAUSA, YORUBA, indeed in any African language?. You see?. You don't know it neither do I.

But the Russians, Chineese, Germans, Arabs, Japanese e.t.c understand what TRIOXO NITRIC ACID means in their own language and therefore understand science in their own reasoning that's the single reason there are doing better than Africans in science and technology. And that's why they are developed countries.

The Russians were the first nation to put man on the moon. They learnt science in their own reasoning as Rusians.

I' am not saying you should not learn English but it have done more harm than good in Africa.

I' am an independent thinker.
Politics › Re: Nigerian States Will Soon Be Allowed To Distribute Power - Goodluck by mrrock: 4:24pm On May 22, 2010
@netotse

There's no egg and chicken puzzle here at ALL!!!. Nigerians are simply not paying for electricity because somebody don't pay for a service he/she didn't use.

Once there is 24 hours electricity power supply we Nigerians will for sure pay for our consumptions same way we are able to pay for MTN, GLO, ZAIN etc charges. As some NLers have posted we are already paying high cost for petrol, Telecoms. So why would we not pay for that of electricity?. And as someone pointed out if Ghanaians and some other African countries that enjoy regular electricity supply can afford to pay for electricy then Nigerians will readily do the same, even better.

Don't be naive to follow any arguements from any idiot that Nigerians would not pay for 24 hours power supply if we have it. Every week I already spend at least N4,000 on fuel that's N16,000 per month. Plus I still pay N2,000 to PHCN per month for electricity I didn't use. No matter what my monthly charge when we have 24 hours power supply it would well be below N16,000 this I' am sure.

There's no excuse not to give 24 hours electricity supply to Nigerians. If states like Kaduna and Sokoto can have petrol supplies at their filling stations then supply is not even a problem!. It's just the central govenment that is hindering this country from regular power supply. Period. Once we have a good non-corrupt head of state the first problem he/she will solve is electricity problem which is the foremost single problem hindering economic development in this country.

Wishing president Goodluck good luck in this noble idea!.
TV/Movies › Re: Which Adverts Motivate You by mrrock: 2:08am On Feb 16, 2010
TV, radio, Newspapers are now becoming obsolete means of advertisement especially in Nigeria since we don't have electricity to power our radio, TV. The future of advertisement in Nigeria is SMS. More than half the population of Nigeria now own a GSM phone so with SMS you can reach almost everybody in Nigeria at once. It's very effective!. There's a company that is already doing SMS advertisement. Go to www.080advertising.com

@Wysiwyg,
Don't listen to anybody telling you he browse the internet for free here in Nigeria with Ngeria sim card.

The only way you can browse the internet totally free here in Nigeria is if you use a foreign sim card. You can get a foreign sim in Lagos at www.gsmclubworld.com

If you use any Nigerian sim card be sure they will charge you even if it takes them 1 year they will substract money from your account at a point.

Our government is always run by very incompetent persons.
But here's the gist.

These are the best brain the country can afford at this time. "As society gets the kind of leadership it deserves" this is a fact.

If you believe you can do better then go!!. As a Nigerian you do have the rights to be the next president.

Romance › Re: Can U Date A Yahoo Guy? by mrrock: 5:18pm On Jan 07, 2010
@ Angel P,
In 2004 I paid $250 to a lady in the USA then later realized I was a fraud victim,

in 2008 I paid 450 Euro to Denmark, all from Nigeria; an unsuspecting fraud victim.

I know somebody(a Nigerian)he paid $27,000 to a Lebanese and another(Nigerian)paid $57,000 to a German; all fraud victims.

I know another person(Nigerian) in Togo republic he paid $20,000 to and Indian to ship him some goods and have received none till date, his life was ruined. Last time I saw him he was doing nothing. What do you think?

Before you ever know what's called yahoo yahoo boys Africans have paid billion of dollars in all forms including slavery even today. Wole Soyinka is among the group of Africans calling for the salaries amounting to $400 billion acrued to the slaves in the whiteman's farms during slavery be returned to Africa. But they are not just doing that.

By-the-way. Do you know anything about yahoo yahoo boys?. Do you know what they tell foreigners?

1. They tell foreigners to help them steal money from a Nigerian bank
2. They tell them to help them steal money from NNPC
3. They them to claim the money of a dead person from a Nigerian bank
4. They even tell them to pay money to kill a politician to allow them have their way in Nigeria

The above is what greedy foreigners pay money for. Ask your yahoo yahoo boy want-to-be friend and he will tell you better, as a mugu myself I don't know much about it. I'am just writing the few facts that I know.

Having said the above. I will need your assistance to return the money which I told you I paid to the USA. You may also help the others. The Nigeria government will also need your assistance to return several $ billion dollars Nigeria monies stolen from Nigeria and now in different banks overseas e.g Abacha's monies.

Politics › Re: US Confirmed Receiving Warning From Father - Nigerian Bomber by mrrock: 12:58pm On Dec 30, 2009
The father did noble but at this point I' am no longer interested who's right or wrong with the security lapses. I' am a realist and in life I prefare talking and finding solutions to the root cause of problems. The point is the U.S itself is funding terrorism around the world even today by buying oil from the middle east including Saudi Arabia a country where most of the 9/11 hijackers came from. These monies trickles down to them to fund their activities. Don't believe me?. Wait for the outcome of the investigations and you would find out these plot was funded from Saudi Arabia or somewhere within their neigbours. Saudi Arabia is the highest donor to mosques for hardline islamic propagation all over the world which have radicalized this Nigerian boy. Buy oil from terror free countries or invest in new energy as well as save the climate. Bush said U.S is addicted to oil but one more thing he failed to outline is the U.S is also addicted to Israel. Don't be partial in the Israeli-Palestinian situation. Be just like your forefathers did e.g Martin Luther king Jr.

Having said this I still want to ask.

Why should this idiot of a boy be interested in fighting the islamic course?.
If he is really a Nigerian why can't he come and fight for good governance down here in Nigeria??. Is he not aware of the massive corruption that have left this country without electricity??. Why didn't he pick up this course and Nigerian will thank him forever. What a wasted idiot.

NB. Finally, it's very easy to locate all terrorist so long as he/she use the internet, I' am very suprised after all the supposedly billions spent on intelligence this boy(who uses internet) was able to pull this weight. If the U.S have real intelligence this boy should't have made it into the U.S. Honestly, I' am very worried about this issue
Politics › Re: Nigeria's Economy May Out Grow South Africa's Economy By 2012 - Sanusi by mrrock: 6:29pm On Nov 01, 2009
, zillonnair,

Yes, my brother you are absolutely very correct!!. Nigeria's economy can out-do south africa any day even before 2012. The only problem government is still buzy and haven't figured out how to provide us electricity. Government do not need to do anything else to achieve that. Just provide electricity and millions of industries will spring up in Nigeria and the economy will grow overnight. However, I see no plan to make this happen when contracts have been awarded to non existing companies!!
