Suddenly, he's afraid to proceed his avowed war on corruption. OBJ go open his yash once he open the halibouton case.

A man that have refused to publicly declare his assets as promised during his campaign. What are we even talking about?!

The good news is by the end of 4 years of Buhari's administration, he will leave a long track record of unfulfilled promises, propaganda, lies, and deceit. Then shall Nigerians come back to their senses.

There should be a standard template that should form the core policy in the fight against corruption! What we are seeing with this petty minded government is a haphazard dramatisation of the fight against corruption. . Today Dasukis home is invaded and nothing tangible comes out of it other than a press statement by an overzealous DSS. Then Oshiohmole regales us with some earth shaking revelations on corruption, then Danjuma visits , then Obasanjo visits, then passports of so, so and so officials are seized and then released. . . The whole thing looks so disorganised and badly orchestrated to serve APCs interests. . . How it is done?. Inuagurate an impartial body of honest men and order them to investigate, probe, arrest and prosecute ALL corrupt men, irrespective of party, religious or tribal affliation. That's the way to go. There must be a generally acceptable standard to be followed. Buhari should NOT be allowed to be making up the rules as he goes. . Is this a president or an emperor?? .

Are we even sure this news is real?. Wait till tomorrow and you'll read here on this same forum that "DSS deny seizing passport of sacked NNPC officials".

You see, what's going on is a massive propaganda to give the impression something is happening, when in reality there's no single war on corruption going on.

How many billions have been recovered yet?. Zero.

Until I see an official admitting in court or being convicted for corruption, all this news is nothing but propaganda.

Inability to declare assets publicly simply means someone is planning to steal.

I like this idea of probing only the Jonathan administration. It makes perfect sense to me.

Jonathan had the opportunity to probe the administrations before him.

Buhari created boko haram and can easily end it whenever he want. I'm glad he's finally ready to call his boys to order. We're tired of this killings.

Buhari have made it CLEAR while in USA that his government will be selective, partial. Akpabio and Co should form a formidable opposition against the President's injustice and not pledging support to an illiterate.

This's his best appointment so far. Based on qualification.

Even without indicting OBJ for anything..see how far OBJ went in ridiculing GEJs reputation, you can imagine what would have happened if he had. 1 million snipers, hit list, blaah blaah. OBJ is an ancient crook with strong backing from his colonial masters...what did the international community do about the money laundering charges in his foundation? And why didn't OBJ in all his greatness probe IBB? All fingers pointing at GEJ when you all called him weak. What has the strong ones done so far about corruption, all we keep hearing from Buhari's government is "we will" "we will". When will they? Using all these shady distractions to keep the masses talking while they do what they do. The halibourton probe has now been dropped by Mr Intergrity. ...why?

1. If I was GEJ I would still be president now.

My brother, I'm not here to lie to myself. I'll rather say the truth, after all neither Bihari nor GEJ is here.

1. If I was GEJ I would still be president now.

2. OBJ would have been in jail.

3. Buhari would not have been president, because he's not qualified according to INEC regulations.

For a man who was so weak to allow all these, he should be prosecuted by Buhari. This will serve as deterrent to future leaders who would want to protect their godfathers for corruption.

Since GEJ was so foolish to let OBJ off the hook, in the face of all the halibourton corruption case hanging on his head, then Buhari should simply prosecute GEJ. I totally agree with that. GEJ had the time and enough evidence to prosecute OBJ, but he played along.

For your information, I'm not a Buhari fan.

I think he said he was not going to interfere with the election of house members?. Credibility my foot!

ABUJA–National leader of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu has said that President Mohammadu Buhari and the party have at least 100 days of honeymoon before embarking on the implementation of “change” programme.

Tinubu who defended his assertion said it was a norm the world over for new leaders to settle in the office before unfolding their agenda for their country.

The APC leader who is also a former Governor of Lagos State was in the Presidential Villa, Abuja on Tuesday for a private meeting with President Buhari.

He added that change does not come by magic, stressing that it is driven by people and proper planning.

“Excuse me! Let us calm now here. How long ago? May 29th was when this president was sworn in. It is an international norm all over the world, there is an honeymoon period, at least minimum of 100 days honeymoon. And you won’t allow honeymoon at all? You said change is not coming. Change is not by magic. It driven by the people, the spirit and the character and the planning.

“You see, we have had so much problem in this country in the past because we run into policy blind folded without adequate and effective planning you don’t have results unless you plan well.

“The time it takes you to plan, examine, rejig, re-evaluate is more important than the time you just rush into taking action because you are either being sentimental, being emotional and being driven by other forces that are not expected. It is not fair to jump into those conclusions.

“There must be time to plan, to review and even listen to people. There is a separation between a campaign period, articulating your vision, expressing the promises to Nigerians. There is a time to look at holistically at what you inherited, analysis it, distil and then take action.
