@ Op this case Is a very simple case. Let's not complicate issues here.

The fine is fixed per line. From my research it (the fine /penalty) was fixed in 2011 after due consultation with all stake holders including the Telecoms companies.

Scenario : my company has 20 trucks and a fine of N25,000 is fixed as penalty for an offence eg bad tyres. If 10 trucks from my fleet has bad tyres I pay N25,000 x 10= N250,000. It's simple, the best I can get is a slight reduction.

That is exactly what happened here.

Mtn as a corporate entity contravened an already existing offence. Ncc did not cook up the figures its clearly stated.

Someone should please tell Mtn to learn to obey the law. Simple.

Mark my words. Most taxi hailing companies in Nigeria may not last.

Easy taxi decided to focus more on getting customers as against the welfare of drivers. They could not strike a balance. Don't forget they do not own cars. That's the beginning of the problem in my opinion.

At a point they had a lot of unsatisfied drivers/car owners.

Well I wish them all the best.

And to Uber. They should also be careful.

Another point. Keep a manifest. Let your clients fill a form and capture some details
and of course a background check before you accept clients.

Have clear rules and regulations and explain to potential clients. Have it written and they sign. If possible don't allow your clients to receive visitors.

do you have any knowledge or experience with facebook ads?
what is your offer/advertising goal?
i have Facebook advertising experience and i can tell you that it offers way more value that any print advertising because it is laser targeted to whatever demographics that you want.
define who you want to reach out to and Facebook ads will help you get to them but you can burn your budget very quickly with facebook ads if you do not know what you are doing ..so consult someone with some experience.

for facebook ads you would require some simple catch graphics design that would show up on both desktop and mobile devices of your target audience.
punch would give you some small white and black box in one corner of a page that most people might assume is a scam ..is that what you want?

Note: if you do not know what you are doing with facebook ads, you will burn up your budget without results.

Hi, have you got any Uber-compatible cars? I know a driver who has passed his Uber tests/qualifications and just needs to rent a car to start work.

The best ride in my fleet is a little above 100,000 miles. It's a 2009 Honda City. Uber will not accept it.
I also don't rely on uber and those guys for business as I've built up enough clients over time and I have a marketing strategy that works just fine.

But I will love to meet the driver, we can still do business.
