Obudu Ranch is a great tourist attraction. Just like Tinapa and its lovely. where are you coming from? If its from Abuja then its better cos the distance from Calabar to Obudu is very far coupled with the bad road et al.

obudu town is not the same as obudu cattle ranch so after you get to obudu town, you then take a cab direct to the ranch. It cost 6k then and the journey lasted for 1 hour before we got to the ranch from the town. The cheapest hut was 23k thereabout. But the duplex accommodation goes for 75k per night.

Make sure you take the cable car ride ocs its fun and also swim at the pool, experience the canopy walk-way and so on. There are nice restaurants you can eat as well. At night it is very cold at the mountain so make sure you carry some warm clothes as well.

Pass through enugu or makurdi airport cos its shorter and like 4hours to the ranch.

However, its difficult to get current and relevant information like prices, cost, hotel (within d resort or close to the resort).

If you have been there within the last few months pls share ur experience?

Also how can a visitor get a tour guide and cost?
How much does it cost to ride in the cable car?

Our trip was interesting. We departed Lagos by 9am on friday and got to Ile Ife around 2pm. Thanks to traffic. At ife we paid a visit to the National Museum and the Royal Palace of the Ooni of Ife. Pictures.....

OP, these hotels are not quite cheap, although the ambiance and serenity I see is worth that amount.
But if one just needs a quick place to crash, there are way cheaper hotels.
There's one in my hood, Ikotun for 2,500. The place is neat and peaceful and will fufil the need of just having a place to lay one's head.

All is set for d trip. Transportation and all. There is space for a few tourists.
Kick off point is National Stadium Surulere Lagos.
