1. Contact your bank. Make sure you lodge a complain, fill a form or something from the bank.
Remember the real owner of the account may show up and accuse you of fraud.
2. Another option is to do an affidavit and keep it. You don't want someone to accuse you of fraud in Nigeria today. The police is not your friend...
'An affidavit is a statement made under oath that some fact, or set of facts, is true to the best of the knowledge of the deponent (the person making the statement). They are deposed to either in a court (before a judge or commissioner of oaths) or before a notary public".
This is 2020, be wise.
All the best.. |

Business › Re: I Have Cac Certificate But Local Associations Keep Disturbing My Business by mrsage(m): 8:27am On Jul 27, 2020 |
teamf: Hi, am a fashion designer and 99% of my customers are from my Instagram page I decided to open a physical shop last month. A week after opening my studio the local associations task force came to my studio and I show them my cac certificate. Since then they have been a threatening my studio. They gave me 10days to join the association or my studio will be sealed. Lawyers in the building, what can I do. From your first sentence, 99% of your customers are online. Then why did you open a physical shop? Do you intend to get more customers from the physical shop ? I think you need to do some evaluation. Is the physical shop really necessary? At the moment the physical shop has attracted some "enemies" so you might need to engage in a battle to keep the shop running. Now ask your self is this battle necessary? Now you may need a lawyer, who will pay for the services of this lawyer? I think you need to choose your battles wisely. Count the cost. At the end of the day you will know if it's worth it or not. Note: You can still do business in a physical shop without a sign post or any form of display on the outside and trust me nobody will disturb you. Just ensure that your customers can locate you and your workers can work from there you are good to go. Wisdom is profitable. |
