Originalsly:I Just checked out the website. Do you think it can work here in Lagos or Nigeria? |
I think you are more likely to receive help if you explain exactly what happened. |
Sad development |
matrixme:Interesting comment. |
Flat share or room share is a concept where you get to let out a room in your flat to an individual mostly on short term basis. People visit Lagos regularly for business or pleasure and we all know that hotel prices are not smiling. To get a good hotel in a decent location in Lagos, you need at least N7,000 a night. Case study. Tunde is a young graduate based in Ibadan and he has a job interview to attend in Lagos. All he needs is a place to sleep for a day or two. If Tinde has an option to stay in a shared flat for a night at N2,500 daily. What do you think? Benefits A shared flat also provides some form of companion and the guest may even gain access to a kitchen. Cheaper than a regular hotel. Do you think this is a nice concept. Will you be willing to stay in a shared apartment as a guest ? If you have a flat with some extra space can you let out a part of your apartment to a guest? |

Interesting facts. But Japanese people funny sha |
I'm into the business and I can say for a fact that uber is now the market leader. They have several customers and they are doing well. Also don't follow the band wagon and enter into the business with the old mentality. A lot of changes are happening now in the business and only those who understand trends will survive. Uber itself is a trend setter. New trends in the market : 1. Lower fares 2. More use of technology especially phones 3. The type of cars used for business is also important. Cars are more recent and you need to be careful. 4. Customers now demand for better service delivery. 5. Unbranded cabs stand a better chance Wish you luck |
Africans are a unique breed. We tend to hold on for too long. |
Concerning Nairaland, the site obviously has good prospects but there is a need for a deep conversation with Seun. |
Don't even know what to say at this point. The dollar scarcity is still real. The earlier we start earning dollars the better. Crude oil prices still not impressive. Time to look into other forms of FX revenue: Tourism Agriculture Solid minerals Export Outsourcing etc |
Do you accept instalmental payment? |
Still searching |
goodgate:What location or state? |
Najm:All depends on distance covered daily. For the Honda City full tank capacity is 40 litres. Be rest assured they are fuel efficient. |
How about the battery? How good is it. |
Not bad so far. |
True |
Hawtmom:Toyota corolla from 2006 model Toyota Yaris Honda City Hyundai elantra or accent. I have a Honda City and Corolla in my fleet. So I can attest to the fuel efficiency. Basically for me the smaller the engine size the better. Any engine above 1.8l is too big in my opinion. Fuel economy is very important |
What's the latest?? |
Nice 1 |
acunon:Prices please? |
Good |
Do you have a small size TV. Between 19-25 inches? |
mytshirtriches:Now I know where you coming from. I don't know if you have experience yet so I cant conclude. If you don't I suggest you start with just one or two cars then learn and increase your feet gradually. I've tasted both sides of the divide. Cab service before uber and now that uber is here I still do uber and I have customers outside uber too. It's an interesting business. Things will happen. Drivers have special talent and dealing with them can be quite an experience. Wish you luck |

mytshirtriches:My humble opinion, you do not need any additional form of marketing if your car is on uber. You also don't need a website. Even a secretary isn't necessary. However if you have plans to manage a fleet of cars for other people then you may consider a website and probably a secretary at that point you place the cars on uber and manage a fleet then pay the car owners based on your agreement. In transport business there's no need to worry about a secretary. They really do not add to the bottom line. If you are on ground you can manage phone calls, figures and amore A good and honest mechanic and Electrician (Aka Rewire) is far more important. So what exactly do you have in mind? |
Hello sir |
