Hello Buzzy...

It is supposed to be someone that knows her fiance but still didn't invite him. (She didn't seems unhappy that her fiance isn't invited) It is possible that he is unwelcome to attend the celebration for numerous reasons.....I think it isn't a big deal not to be invited but then again I can only speak for myself.

I will update when I find more information because I am curious on how she will handle it and how her fiance will react. grin grin
Romance › Re: Singles: A Positive View Towards Marriage by MrsChima(f): 9:34am On Jul 24, 2012
pendo89: It's great if you marry the right person, at the right time, and for the right reason

And even after uv doen that? there is no guarantee it's gonna last. Seen many fall.

Just marry cz uv chosen to and work hard at it but be ready for any shocks.
True words Pendo. kiss Many people have no idea what marriage is about and how to survive it simply because many have married or considering for the wrong reasons. It doesn't help when you have those whom are marrying simply because it is a way of survival and getting out of broken situations. Individuals with such mindset will never live happily and will always look on the other side even with a diamond stone worth more than all of Africa.

It is not for the weak minded nor immature ones. It requires both parties to fight TOGETHER and stay on ONE ACCORD for the betterment of the WHOLE FAMILY and refrain from being selfish will go a long way in marriage.

It will be times where you want to strangle your partner but at the end....you can't live without the one you promised to love and cherish. It can work when both deeply wants to be together, love, respect, and cherish each other.

One must know when to lead and when to step back and allow your other half to lead....after all you both are cleaved as ONE.

That's the TRUTH ABOUT MARRIAGE and yes....it can get bloody at times...but it is worth it when the person is the right one. wink

antitpiah: Thats your opinion. I am just glad the rest of humanity doesnt agree with your deluded assessment. You call Nigerian delicacies food? You need your head checked. No wonder you all look like men; Morning, fufu; Afternoon; Eba; Evening, drink garri; Night, pounded yam. Where is the balanced diet in that. Not to even talk about the after-meal taste the food leaves in your mouth, so disgusting.
Damn. shocked shocked shocked

Romance › Single Invitations And Relationships by MrsChima(op): 8:27am On Jul 24, 2012
A friend of mine called me yesterday to complained that she was invited to a celebration with mutual individuals but her fiance isn't. She stated that her fiance became irate and accused her of trying to "stand alone". I told her to inquire and make a decision. Did I advised her appropriately?

My personal opinion is if a person is married...I think it is a courtesy to invite the spouse as well. However, if the person is single then it is a catch 22 and could be dicey. Any thoughts?

It is different when the person doesn't want to attend the event....however do you feel comfortable going to an event knowing your partner is unhappy with the decision? Do you think it is rude or justified?
