Was Colin Powell raised by White grandparents?
Was Michelle Obama raised by White grandparents?

Just want to know because it seems simpletons think that "successful" Black Americans were raised and influenced by White grandparents.

chic2pimp: What he identifies himself as is not issue being discussed here.
Whether he was influenced by the African American culture is the issue being discussed and the answer I'm sorry to say is a blatant No!!!

LMFAOOOOOOOO @ talking like an African American. Yh we all can see that.

The fact remains the most crucial part of his development was under the supervision of his WHITE Grandparents.

No matter what way and hard u try to twist it, he simply wasn't influenced by the African American Culture. His WHite Grandparents takes all the credit for that
I thank his White Grandparents and Black father for guiding him to marry a good Black American woman. grin grin grin grin grin grin

Thank you White grandparents for putting a Black American woman in the White House. grin cheesy wink smiley

LMAO@ "educated" individuals fighting over differences in culture. grin grin grin grin grin grin
Culture › Re: Interracial Children: Which Culture? by MrsChima(f): 6:28pm On Jul 30, 2012
I think "educated" people need to stop confusing Black American with African American. Black American and African American are two separation things.

Individuals that are Black living in America is classified as Black American. According to the definition of many....African Americans are individuals whom supposed to be byproducts of slavery and lost members of African tribes who sold them for a mirror and a spoon.

Barack Obama is a bi-racial man who have identified himself as an American. He has never stated that he was White American nor Black American. Barack OBama was raised by his White grandparents only to spend his adult years studying and partaking in life experience with Black Americans and Civil Right movements.

Barack Obama spent many years trying to re-educate minorities on self dependence and acquiring knowledge to succeed. Obama Barack met with a successful Black American woman who broke all "stereotypes" regarding Black American woman and became the first Black American First Lady in the White House.

Barack Obama has never spoke ill about White nor Black Americans and in fact is all about bring both sides together to move America forward. He has never said not one time he wanted to "remove" himself from the Black America mainstream otherwise he contradicted himself going to a Black church and following a Black reverend.

Lying to prove a point is not cool.

Fulaman....just because the heffa is brown skinned and two days younger than me doesn't mean she is the "one", angry angry grin grin

You see so many spousal murders because ignorant parents forcing their children to marry someone that they feel should be their spouse and have to shell out money burying their children.
Culture › Re: Interracial Children: Which Culture? by MrsChima(f): 1:04am On Jul 30, 2012
MsDarkSkin: i dont plan on having bi-racial children as in black and white (although who knows the future..but knowing me that won't happen.)

my future husband and i probably won't share the same background though but our children
will be educated on both of our cultures/histories as both of our blood will run through their veins.
That's just logic. wink

They shouldn't have to choose. Making a child choose which side to claim is unfair and ridiculous.
Exactly and they need to procreate with individuals that share the same "culture/tradition" as them so their children wouldn't have to choose which parent to please.

JallowBah: I wish for my daughter to know both just as well.

If she chooses an african or european later, its her choice.
You may not like the choices she made but if she is happy and the guy is good to her.....you can't go wrong with that.

Many parents forget that they can't live their children's lives and learn that the world doesn't revolve around them.
