ronald4lif: It's not a man's thing but cuts across both genders. Women does it equally.
I think it has to do with insecurity and trust issues. People who behaves in such manner might not fully trust their partner and think they might be up to something fishy when they don't take up calls when due. Like they are hanging out with someone else and its preventing them from picking up.
Actually humans instinct always emit room for suspicion and incertitude each time their loved ones doesn't respond to their calls and messages, be it a partner or relatives. But I think wedded couples shouldn't exhibit such possessive attitude as there should be a reasonable level of trust and understanding between them.
But sure you would have reacted differently if the reverse was the case? Like you called him repeatedly for over an hour without any response or feedback from him? You see, in situations like this the best way to understand the position of the other person is to switch stance and see how it fits and the angle which their viewpoint is harnessed from. Thank you. I know it not a trust issue. I was asking how come it is okay for guys to ask questions but women can't? We get "don't worry and all is well" but we (women) have to explained our actions. He told me he was worried because I usually answers his calls and when I didn't he lost his mind. All is well. |

winetapper: Good evening Ma, permit me to Answer this.. It depends on the temperament of your husband..Maybe he is protective and a Jealous type or maybe he doesnt trust you well enough or rather you didnt tell him where you where going.. If its a Man's thing Yes ma it is. But depends on his temperament.. Example i am your type of husband.. To the extent i wouldnt allow her wear too much makeup and sexy wears not she wount look good on them.. I dont want too much eyes on her..
Happy sunday Thank you! Happy Sunday! My husband is a bit territorial and he was worried when I didn't answered the call because I usually picked his calls. He wanted me to get some tomatoes and yams for our aunt who has called after I have left the house. She didn't remember my mobile number and called the house. It wasn't nothing serious but I just noticed when he doesn't picked my calls...I shouldn't be worried. I feel the same way but he is entitled to worry but I can't. Oh well. |

ronald4lif: Hello, our darling wife, is everything alright? Check this out...I went to the store to get some items and I didn't hear the phone when my husband called. I saw that he has called an hour later because I was busy in the store. I called him back only to get 20 questions why I haven't picked his calls. I told him to wait until I get home we will talk. We had the discussion and we solved the issue however why when I called him at times and he doesn't picked up the calls, I have to be understanding and not ask questions? I have noticed my brother do that with his wife so my question to you...is that a man's thing? |
