My exam was scheduled for Friday, the 21st at 6:30 am. I had to lodge in a hotel. Fortunately, the center I was posted to was the WAEC international CBT center, and WAEC has a hotel inside the compound called the Academy Guest House. The room was legit; I would rate it 10/10. That evening, I started playing my audiobook for "The Life Changer" and revising some points by scrolling through the syllabus.

By 6:00 pm on Thursday, I went out to get more food, but the road was flooded. Fortunately, I saw an auto rickshaw heading to the junction. Originally, I planned to buy beans. A portion of beans was #1,500, but something told me to buy other things as their beans might not be good. My favorite beans are from Kilimanjaro in Aduwawa. One time, they even asked for my name because I often called to order beans, sometimes up to four times a week. Their beans used to be 10/10 four years ago when they used pomo to cook it. Now, I would rate it 8/10, but they are still the best. However, Kilimanjaro at Benin City Mall is still okay; they are onion specialists, with a 1:1 ratio of beans to onions, I perceive. So, I decided to buy pounded yam and vegetable soup, sardine Bread and also shawarma.

The shawarma was very big, about 25 to 30 cm long. For those not familiar with the size, it was as long as a long ruler, with a base area of approximately 16πcm². For those not familiar with area, you can think of it like the base of a Coca-Cola bottle.

When I got back to my room, I started with the beans, but the taste was not good at all. So, I switched to the bread. The sardine bread was amazing; I had never tasted anything like it. I was almost dislodging the bread to 50% when I remembered I had not eaten the shawarma, It tasted very nice. My stomach was already rebelling against my wishes at this point. I had to pause eating and put the beans, pounded yam, vegetable soup, and the remaining two-thirds of the shawarma in the refrigerator. I went to the bathroom and took a hot shower. Afterward, I came back to the room, switched on the AC, and lay on my bed. The white soft duvet was very helpful; I buried myself in it and started using my phone. I used my phone until 2:00 am the next morning, then plugged it in and slept off. I woke up around 5:30 in the morning. I got some bread and went to join the queue for biometrics verification.

When I got there, I observed they were calling names. I asked another mature candidate if it was names they were using now. He was also surprised, so we decided to check the situation. We went to the third floor and inquired from the biometrics woman. She said it was just two names; I assumed they were special students or students with special needs. I told the guy we should go back, but he said he couldn't and jumped the queue, standing in front of a small boy. I simply went down and returned to my original place in the queue. After some time, I was reflecting on something that came to my mind: how old was Bint in the novel "The Life Changer"? My mind was reflecting on 8 or 9 years. I took an excuse from the person ahead of me, ran back to my room, picked up my phone, and checked. I found out that Bint was five years old. I quickly put my phone under the bed as I don't trust hotel rooms, and went back to the queue.

Finally, we all did the biometrics and went to the waiting room, there was seats for everyone to sit in the waiting room and even extra. A man who looked like a Northerner, based on his attire, addressed us and encouraged anyone who was impersonating to leave the hall now, as it was safe to do so. He said that impersonators and those with technical issues were the reasons for the delay. Nobody left the hall, so he said if they caught anyone impersonating, they would be sent to Abuja. Finally, they directed us to the computer room where we all took turns to find our numbers and sit in our seats, the computer screen was big and better than the one in my previous exam. They said the exam would commence at 8:30 am, but the waiting time felt like up to 2 hours. I can't be sure because there was no device to tell the time.

Finally, the exam started. The first subject displayed on my screen was Mathematics. Jesus! Christ, the math difficulty was quadruple that of the previous exam. Not that they couldn't be solved, but they required time. Some questions that really surprised me were the median of grouped data and special trigonometric functions. Math shouldn't be a problem for me, but this time, it was consuming all my time. At the end of the math exam, I had about 55 minutes left, so I went to English. The English difficulty level was normal compared to the previous one. Then came Chemistry. Its difficulty level was the same as the previous exam. In the end, I was left with about 11 minutes for Physics. Physics was very easy; I regretted not starting with it. Unfortunately, I didn't solvesome of the calculations that will take much time; I eliminated options to get the answer, while the non-calculation questions were straightforward.

After the exam, I went to my room, but I couldn't find my phone under the bed where I had hidden it, and I think my bread has changed position and now tightly tied, I went to the front desk to complain. They said nothing gets missing in the hotel and started calling the person who cleaned the room. Then I decided to check the locker and found that the person had kept the phone in the locker for me. I felt so humbled. I hid the phone from the hotel staff in case they came to clean the room and might steal it, but they found it and kept it safe for me.

Immediately after I left the hotel, I checked my result, hoping to see it immediately. Unfortunately, it wasn't out yet, and it still isn't out at this moment.

My UTME result which was under investigation by JAMB for more than a month has just been rescheduled,
To be written on the 22nd of this month.
I am happy it was rescheduled, because I no longer have confidence in the integrity of the result that would have been released, due to the delay it looks suspicious (personal taught though).

Another reason why I am happy is that this time around it will give me opportunity to get 100/100 in mathematics, as they will be very careful with the questions they are going to set and make sure it follows the syllabus, as this exam is to test the ability of those who they think where involved in examination misconduct maybe did to their high score (person taught though).

For all those that have followed me on nairaland asking for updates, thank you, and tis is where we are now. I must finish the journey.

Thousands of questions on Twitter about jamb result investigation, they will never reply that message, go and check, you will almost start crying, some parents think there children didn't enroll the exam, many students have lost opportunities, many students are traumatized, It is annoying, they snub all messages that are about result under investigation.
I have written them on Twitter more than 20 times, tag Edo state governor and all tag gables but no reply

He is incompetent, more than a month after they released result they are still investigating about 20k result, without communicating to the students about progress, a CBT examination that was done under security cameras, and biometric verification.
Many students have lost opportunities because of JAMB not releasing their result yet.

The reason why they remove competition date is because this competition has taken place more than a year ago. I have used this girl as a role model for my students some months back, what I feel is that this post was made because of the anambra children that won mathematics competition on front page recently to show that not only Igbos win mathematics competition, in Nigeria we should have heathy competition not these tribalistic competition

I don't see how possible it is for someone to cheat in that exam, because the security measures where tight, cameras were present you have to thumb print which will show your face before you entire, it is close to impossible

I am tired of JAMB; the way they treated us was not fair. They were not communicating with us about our results being investigated; they just left us in the dark. I feel pity for those other young, innocent students whose results are also being investigated without any information from JAMB about the investigation. If I were them, I would have been sick every day. As the saying goes, 'You're either rich or you're wrong.' Nigeria!

You should discuss failure with those who struggle with the UTME ; no one truly 'fails' JAMB. It's important to understand that JAMB is an examining body, while UTME is the specific examination they conduct.

Almost all the students in Benin City have had their results under investigation for more than one week now after JAMB released the 2024 UTME results. What is more concerning is that JAMB is not communicating about the release of the results or the progress of the investigation, leaving the students and parents confused. According to the Bible, 'Expectations postponed make the heart sick.' On Twitter, many students and parents have been crying out for a response, but no one seems to care to listen.

This is a call to the Edo state governor, commissioner of Education, Director of the Directorate of Quality Assurance, and special advisers on Educational matters to the Edo state government. Please do not leave your students in the dark after they burned the midnight oil to prepare for this examination.

If there are any irregularities with the examination center, you can reschedule another examination for the students. It is not their fault they didn't choose the examination center; they were sent there by JAMB. This should be a concern for highly regarded centers like the WAEC International CBT center and University of Benin ICT centers. If JAMB finds them wanting for irregularities in the exam conducted at their centers and by some of their staff, they need to come out and prove themselves clean by showing the world the CCTV footage of the exam, demonstrating that the exam was free of infractions. Otherwise, any legal means they can use to clear their names should be pursued. If JAMB succeeds in proving there were irregularities in these centers, then the authenticity of exams conducted in these centers, like the January/February WAEC GCE and the UNIBEN post UTME, should be questioned.

The big question remains: how can malpractice happen in a CBT exam where each candidate's questions are different, thumbprinting and biometric verification are used to admit students, and CCTV cameras monitor the candidates?

Jamb is saying nothing the other information I am getting is not reliable and I can find it in JAMB Twitter handle is that it will be released on the 8th of June, the only tangible thing I can find is that those withheld result won't be released as jamb has many evidence against them, but for the result under investigation it will be released if the candidate is not found guilty.
What we will just have to do is wait, I have been tagging my state governor on it, he hasn't replied yet

It is an objective exam not a subjective one, besides I say screenshot on the internet last year where some students archived 100 marks in sum subject, I don't know if it was true of fake result though

If you have heard of or seen anyone with a perfect score (100/100) in any of the subjects in this year's UTME, please post the person's name. Upon verification, I have a token for the first 2 people, and I will also encourage others on this forum to motivate them too.

As of last year, I saw a lot of perfect scores, although I didn't verify any. So far, I haven't seen any perfect scores yet.

Meanwhile, for those who will ask about my result, it has not been released yet; it is still under investigation.
