TRUTHTOPOWER: They hate Yorubas for bowing to elders. Now their future is captured under the feet of Nnamdi Kanu. Yoruba can't stop amazing me. I could still remember that an average Igbo man would always use yoruba type of greeting elders as an example worthy of emulation, when he admonishes on importance of greeting an elder. Igbo don't hate yoruba for their enviable mode of greeting but for their COWARDICE. |

Aegon: The best way to defeat Kanu is by winning over his followers. If you give Igbos a superior reason to believe in Nigeria then Kanu and co will just fade away. What do the Igbo want?
1 An abolition of Quota system and affirmative action currently enjoyed by the Fulani. 2 The system of privileges entrenched by quota system which has made the north docile and less competitive in the resource value chain. 3 Fair and equitable distribution of resources by nationally agreed and negotiated indices. 4 Governments sincerity in protecting the lives and property of all Nigerians regardless of place of origin, religion or political views.
I think we can start from here to renegotiate our very fragile union and stop strong arming dissenting voices in a democracy. You are on a long thing and you're also on your own. What Igbos( the wider Igbo beyond 5 eastern states) want is Biafra. Nothing more or less. |
Politics › Re: Militants Kill 4 Soldiers In Ekeremor, Bayelsa; Soldiers Invade Community by MrSly(m): 10:57pm On Aug 31, 2017 |
dainformant: Armed men ambushed and killed four soldiers in the Ekeremor waterways area of Bayelsa State as they returned from an assignment in the Letugbene community on Monday. According to reports, The gunmen, who outnumbered the soldiers, forced the servicemen to surrender, marched them to a creek, executed them and stole their weapons and military gear.
A civilian boat driver with the military detachment attempted to escape but was also shot and killed by the attackers.
Nigeria’s oil-rich south and southeast had been ravaged by violence orchestrated by groups seeking to force the government to more evenly share petroleum revenues with local residents.
Tare Porri, a local youth leader, confirmed the killings.
“(The attack) was bizarre and unprovoked,” said Porri, chairman of the Central Zone of Ijaw Youths Council. “Four military officers were killed in cold blood alongside a civilian. Military officers went to Letugbene community and on their way back, some persons accosted them and killed all of them,” he told AFP.
“Only one of them escaped. The military, yesterday morning, retaliated, invaded the communities and burnt down houses. The operations are still ongoing and it is spreading to other communities,” Porri added.
A senior security official confirmed the incident and denounced the increased level of violence against security forces.
AFP
Source; https://www.nationalhelm.co/2017/08/soldiers-invade-bayelsa-community-four-soldiers-killed-militants-photos.html This is too bad. Killing a soldier for doing nothing. No provocation. Infact, this is abominable. On the other hand, the soldiers took it to the extreme. I have always seen where civilians are killed in most gruesome way yet the police will be allowed to go about their investigation and make relevant arrests. I wonder why some group of soldiers will start burning down houses. One day civilian will decide to take the soldiers, the soldiers may not survive it. Do not always trust your AK47. |
Romance › Re: My Girlfriend Slept With Our Last Born by MrSly(m): 10:48pm On Aug 31, 2017 |
Saliman22: Good morning my wonderful family, I had an issue with my girl 2015 which I open a thread here in romance section, we settled early this year,.
Lemme go straight to the point, I work with micro finance bank which I don't normally have time, my girl is on her IT at ministry of health in my state, what happened yesterday shocked me, my church is having a youth conference currently going on now in Anambra state, for the past two weeks now I'm in the village, she don't normally go to her IT place telling me that there are on malaria program which she don't considered it useful according to her.
What happen yesterday I'm still in shocked right now that is like I'm dreaming which I'm not. It was past 11pm at night that my girl woke up and shout dear dear and I asked her what happen, then she narrated how she had a dream and I was killed in the dream, I was like what is going on because someone warned me about this month that I should be careful, so I went outside immediately with my Bible and olive oil for prayers. I was in the middle of the compound praying and I asked her to wait for me and she said she cannot wait, that she feared standing alone at night, my compound has a very big gate o, now she went inside my last born room and I was still praying.
Some spirit entered me and I stopped half way and to my surprise ever when I stop she couldn't come out and I waited small and it wasn't up to 2mins she came outside and asked me to wait for her and I didn't wait, she followed me, when I came to the house, I didn't talk to her for some minute and she asked me what the problem is and I explained to her that she should stop that thing that is going on with my last born. She said she's surprised that I could think about this kind of a thing and she's not stupid to have make love with my brother, I told her immediately that I want to make love to her and she said until we finished our discussion and I objected and go straight there and put my hand, behold she was extra wet, so at this point I went inside my last born room and called him to come and the boy followed me.
I now asked him to knell down and he did, at this point I brought out a cable and asked him to tell me why she make love to my woman, at this point my girl knell down and started crying, both of them confess that I did it twice. I now asked my girl the reason she did this even when she knew I was praying, she didn't give me a concrete answer.
So this things has been going on under my roof and I have spent my hard earned money for my brother and her.
Pls I need your advice. Pls what can I do, this morning I have called her aunty to inform her, and she said I should meet her on Saturday.
Pls help me brother and sisters. I need help Pls. I don't like soft men. A real man isn't suppose to be too soft and worst still indecisive. A man who is still seeking advice to know exactly what to do in a situation like this is certainly too soft for my liking. No offence just telling the truth as it is. |

PearlStreet: There is something called persecution complex. It is something that affects majority of Igbos and makes them do irrational things.
Reminds me of an incident in Aba. Armed robbers shot someone and he was bleeding profusely. Guess what the people did? They put the bleeding victim in a wheelbarrow and pushed him all the way to nta at Ogbor Hill.
The guy was crying and begging them to take him to the hospital, but they said they wanted to show the 'International Community' that Igbos were marginalised and were not protected by the Hausa fulani police. The guy eventually died while on the way back from the TV station.
If given the opportunity, Biafrans would take God to the "International Community" for marginalising them. That's why they have refused to worship God and are now referring to one "Chukwu Okike Abiama" as their god.
As for this case, it's nothing new. It's a symptom of the persecution complex and mental escapism which Biafrans are suffering from.
They didn't add criminals like Evans and Bishop of Ozubulu, instead they are celebrating the criminals and blaming Fulanis for their own misdeeds.
The Biafrans ought to be given a Guinness World Record for being the largest group of comedians in the world. If this is true at the emboldened I detest the ignorant fools who were so dramatically sentimental to the detriment of another man's life. Intact they all merit life jail. Bunch of fools!!! But that some misguided fools joked with a person's life does not means Biafra ideology is bad. I love Biafra. |

Politics › Re: Nnamdi Kanu Has Betrayed The Struggle - MASSOB by MrSly(m): 2:22pm On Aug 27, 2017 |
MrRationaL: It appears that the crisis within the pro-Biafra groups Movement for the Actualisation of the Sovereign State of Biafra (MASSOB) and Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) has deepened. On Saturday, August 26, MASSOB said that Nnamdi Kanu has shaken hands with the federal government and therefore compromised the struggle to achieve an independent state of Biafra after he met with some politicians. Accoridng to Punch, Mr Sunday Okereafor, the MASSOB National Director of Information, said in an interview that they would continue the struggle through non-violent means and they would not be deterred by IPOB. Okereafor said:“IPOB has compromised the struggle; the IPOB leader (Nnamdi Kanu) has had a handshake with the Federal Government. He has embraced restructuring. What are we going to restructure in Nigeria? We are saying no to that. . “He (Kanu) has told the world that he has compromised and he has deceived millions of people. But we are insisting that it is Biafra or nothing. We are storming Onitsha on September 13 to celebrate our 18th anniversary. “The IPOB leader is saying that after restructuring of Nigeria, he will abandon the struggle. He has a hidden agenda. He has access to politicians, senators and governors. He is in the struggle for his selfish interest. But we are telling the Federal Government that on Biafra we stand. No matter the intimidation, the struggle continues.” When asked about the recent warning by President Buhari on groups clamoring for disunity, he said the President could have been referring to Boko Haram and Fulani herdsmen killing and destroying people’s farmlands. Explaining, he said:“Our struggle is based on non-violence. We (MASSOB) are not among those President (Muhammadu) Buhari mentioned that they have crossed the red lines because we have been non-violent in our struggle. “The groups threatening Nigeria’s unity are Boko Haram, Fulani herdsmen, who are his brothers. Look at it now, Boko Haram is looking for autonomy and the Fulani herdsmen are not interested in the unity of Nigeria and they are killing people all over Nigeria. Yet, none of them has been prosecuted. . “We have continued to tell the Nigerian Government to hold a sovereign national conference. Must we go to war? Must we stay together in Nigeria? "Boko Haram is saying that they want Islamic Republic and the Fulani herdsmen are going everywhere and killing people and destroying farmlands. Buhari knows who he is talking to; it cannot be MASSOB because we are non-violent.” . According to reports, the group’s position was made public in a statement signed by one of its leaders, Uchenna Madu. .
