Apostle paul is teaching us here that we must study to show ourselves approved,not just unto men but unto God. There is power in preparation. Everything God has said as a promise is still valid, but what have you known and understand to make it a reality in your life?

The disciples of Our Jesus were not graduates, they didn't go to school like apostle Paul. But I hope you know they studied? They are scholars of scriptures, they talked about the prophecies of old, this could only be possible because they study. Our Lord Jesus at age 12 was in the temple studying, it is true he is the Messiah but he had to read the messianic prophecy before he ventured into ministry. You have to study, you have to search out truths from the book of the law.

My mentor will always say; what you don't know(knowledge/information) is currently responsible for your situation/level. What you know(knowledge/information) and don't understand is still responsible for your current limitation/situation. What you know and understand but still didn't take action is still responsible for your situation.

Your dreams are at the mercy of knowledge, understanding and wisdom(action). Everything you need is yours for the taking,but what do you truly know? The most powerful man on earth is not one with the biggest weapon, but one with the must useful information/knowledge.

*Study to show yourself approved*, you cannot be useful to God if you don't improve on your self. You need to be a better version of what God has called you to be,you must be informed positively. You are only useful to God to the degree of knowledge/information you have

Having challenges is not a new thing as a believer, infact as a true believer your life will never be void of challenges. Challenges are signs we are maturing, challenges are signs we are moving from levels to levels.

In your journey for your pursuit for God, the devil will throw alot of obstacles for you,and here our lord Jesus Christ is telling us we can only overcome this obstacles By doing that which he has said and has commanded. Our scripture for tonight is a powerful scripture. Here our Lord is telling us that challenges are normal, and he likened challenges to storms,rains etc. He gave this example because we are all familiar to this things when they come. when there is a heavy rain that comes with flood, you will agree with me that it causes alot of destructions. some storms are so scary and some causes havoc.

Being a christian in our today's world makes you a target for the devil. Remember Job? He was only serving God and the devil was not happy. Our Lord Jesus Christ came to save us but the devil didn't leave him but halleluyah!, He showed us how to deal with that old serpent.

You might be going through alot and it looks like everything will end in seconds, your issues might have lingered and it looks like there is no solution. You might not even have what to eat, your present challenge looks like the whole earth is on your shoulder. But here is a word of encouragement, there is a God who is able and capable to do all things and not some things, Call out to him and never relent. The lord strong and mighty will show up and wipe away your tears. God is able, say to yourself and confess.

Prayer: Lord we thank you, for every storm. For every rain has an appointed time. For every challenge/ obstacles before us oh God we cry for your Divine intervention in Jesus name. Father do not let the world ask me where is my God,for your namesake oh God change our story in the name of Jesus.

The bible said in the beginning was the *word* and that *word* was with God,and the *word* is God. One of the ways and which is the principal way of knowing who God is through the His *word*. Everything shall pass away but the *word* will never return void to God.

God desires a relationship with you. The purpose of every man on earth is fellowship, it is in the place of fellowship your assignment on earth will be revealed to you, and for every assignment there is a required tool you will need to carry it out, it is in the place of fellowship with God that you receive instructions/tools on how to go about your assignment.

Tonight is a call for you to return to the *word* of God. when you are full of the *word*,you will no doubt produce Godly result. Results that are not possible on the earth realm will be evident through your life. The Word of God contains the laws we need to succeed in our assignment in life. The word of God is our manufacturer manual to help us function well in life.

The holy spirit is the custodian of the anointing of God. A genuine fellowship with the holy spirit brings the anointing upon you. The anointing respond to a life is sacredness and sacrifice. The anointing of God is in levels and your obedience to the things of God will increase the anointing upon your life. The anointing is not a quick money making venture, the anointing of God is priceless and it is for doing good things all about.

The anointing is real,the anointing of God at work in man is priceless, the anointing is always sort after,it never goes out of relevance.

Show me anybody doing this things and I will show you a genuine christian. Everything about God and his love for us was found in his 'giving'. He so love the world *he GAVE his only begotten son*.

Giving should be part of you, giving is a show of obedience and a show of compassion. As believers you must give, giving attracts blessing to you, giving gladens the heart of the father. Giving to the needy is christlike, the devil never gave, he was found of taking away from people.
So the sheeps that gave are from the father,while the goats that didn't are from the devil. The bible made us understand that by their fruit you shall know them.
Remember the father is glorified when ye bare much fruits.

Giving is a divine instruction from God, you must be led to give, not every giving is profitable. You must come to a point where you allow the spirit to lead you in your giving so that you won't give amidst.

The first man(Adam) was made from clay by God. Before then God created male and female in his image, he gave them dominion (delegating power/authority) to function. It was this dominion God gave to man to subdue the earth,the beast of the field and everything on earth was under the authority of man.

God made man like him,he made sure man has everything he needs to function on earth.
When Adam fell in the garden of Eden he lost 3 things;
1. The presence of God (the holy spirit). The bible made us understand God will come down in the cool of the day to commune with man everyday

2. He lost righteousness; righteousness is the ability to stand before the father without any atom of sin guiltiness. Remember after the fall when God came down as usual to commune, he didn't see man and he called out , Adam where are you, and Adam replied I heard your voice and hid for I am naked. Sin guiltiness makes you far away from the father.

3. He lost dominion; dominion is the delegating power of God on earth, Adam named all the animals God brought before him, he was never attacked by this animals. And God said he named them just perfectly.

The assignment of christ on earth was for us to return to that right standing with God, he became the bridge that restores us to the father. Remember the bible, telling us about how sin came in by one man(Adam),and by another man(our lord Jesus) redemption came. To be redeemed means to be bought by a price, the price Jesus gave was his blood. The stainless blood of Jesus paid all on the cross.

Tonight, I want us to have a sober reflection of our life, do we still remain under the old man(Adam)? Or we are experiencing the full nature of the new man(Jesus). Jesus paid it all, he doesn't owe anything,and he did it for me and you.
