Gravity is not energy, Bros. According to the Relativity theories, Gravity is not a real force sef. It's a warp... A curvature in the fabrics of spacetime

You are right. I was actually relating to gravitational (potential) energy....energy generated as a result of gravity between objects.
But you miss my point...in that energy and matter relatable.

expatiate and tell me how that makes gravity a "thing"

Gravity and light are both 'things' (if I were to refer usage of the term). They are both energy and are correlated. According to the law of thermodynamics, energy can be transformed from one state to another.

He's correct in a way. gravity is only a phenomenon. You don't compare gravity with light which is a real thing (particle and/or wave). To clear you, lemme ask: what is the unit of gravity

Gravity and light are both 'things' (if I were to refers to Tartar's usage if the term)....they are both energy and are correlated. According to the law of thermodynamics, energy can be transformed from one state to another.... That is wamhat makes Einstein's law possible.

I can see you are very good at memorising your economics texbooks. But I can assure you that your texbook did not factor in the effect of corruption in its analysis. Goodnight

Well, quote did have a valid point ....don't you think the government should have focused on tackling that sort of corruption instead of sending us more steps backward than forward?

A sad day for the families they support

Those sabotaging the economy have won the 30 billion worth of textile confiscated by GEJ from Kano traders will now be returned through the back door!

Hmmmmm....sad.

obailala:
The truth is that the ban was never enforced. The ban did not stop or even reduce the importation of textiles all. It was just an avenue for the ever corrupt customs officials to make so much money in the form of bribes; moneys which should have accrued to the government as duties. With the lifting of the ban, at least a chunk of those moneys received by the customs guys would get to the government.... and this govt is in desperate need of revenue.

Hmmmm....I am now educated from this post ...explains much. Thanks

Well, it is not that I do not know the difference but I just thought to ask a leading question because in my opinion, that association has a wrong name title. Web programmers and designers are diffenerent sets of professionals.

Thanks for this wonderful initiative, i'm interested in graphic design and i've checked the website, but i saw 10,000 plus a laptop. Does it mean that, if i pay 10,000, i'll be given a laptop and it has also covered the training cost and other expenses. Pls expatiate, thanks

Your requirements are: 10k plus a laptop.
It means you have to come with your laptop.
The 10k is your contribution to logistics and your exhibition during the day of graduation...actual value for the class is 80k. But this is a community impact initiative and thus not a profit making venture.
Jobs/Vacancies / It Is Riskier. by MrSunesis(m): 4:04am On May 25, 2015
People say entrepreneurs take risks.
I say employees take far greater risks!
-Sunesis

It is riskier to know I can suddenly be out of a job I just got 'just like that'. It is riskier knowing my future is controlled by another man-the boss-and that he can determine when I rise or fall, and how fast or slow I get there.

It is riskier to know I am not in total control of how much I can possibly earn; or to know there will be a pay cut and I can do little to stop it; or to keep hoping for a pay rise while most of my bills do not observe such sentiments but just keep rising.

It is risky to see my boss thinks he/she is doing me a favour by giving me a job.
It is even riskier knowing the favour can suddenly stop.

It is riskier knowing I can suddenly lose my job due to my boss's decisions, or circumstances beyond my influence.

It is riskier knowing I will spend years building another man's vision instead of mine until I retire; then I start to wonder where 30-40 years of my life went.

Yes.
It is far too risky,
much too risky,
to know that I am not in absolute control of my future.

If I ever work a 9-5 job, I must work towards owning part of the business, or running my own 'something by the side', to keep me as an entrepreneur.
It is a lot of work, but it is far less risky.
This way, I keep control.

With these stories, it is irrelevant if the chibok girls are real or not...point is a lot of ladies and young girls were abducted...I can't imagine how 700 women have been missing all this while and we only got serious about it just some few weeks ago. Personally, I believe the girls were abducted. I am grateful that we are gradually seeing the end of all this.

Does everything have to inflicted with a derogratory remark?
The proofs beyond language and culture etc are before your eyes...magazine strips and data from way back two centuries... And you still insult the race. Why don't we just respect each race and accept their peculiarities? If these facts where figures for the Yoruba race most of the nairalanders who are yorubas will not be be asking for such facts but readily accept these here. undecided

Ayiri is seeking relevance in his new party. Amnesty programme must continue or else the boys will blow up the pipelines and oil facilities in their backyards!

There is a difference between amnesty freehandout of money and government-to-state allocation. We seem to be confusing the two. What government should focus on is better allocation and management within the Delta. Giving a few billions of naira just let's he next generation believe that's how to make it big in Nigeria. A very wrong culture will be created.

You see, what it implies is that if the government is seen to be a source of 'freehandouts', such violence will continue with our youths thinking or being programmed to believe such is a means of making it big in Nigeria.

ah, those boys have started again'.

Lol...smh.

Ahhhh, these police have started again.

So they knew this was ongoing but do not see the need to secure the area?

If they have been able to take care of a bridge as critical as third mainland how about eko bridge?

If they do not wish to work let them go somewhere else!!!.

I have met very credible policemen help me while I had my car knock engine some 6yrs ago on 3rd mainland in a Sunday night...I was guarded by a pair of police officers on a bike, one was recovering from a gun shot wound to the leg and the other actually went to pick him from saint Nicholas hospital. Yet they stopped and guarded us with their riffle. I was amazed. They stayed till a towing van came to our aid and followed us till we were safer on Maryland bridge. I still say prayer for the two mobile policemen. The wounded guy could not even stand but he sat on the pavement while we were at the bridge. Note that they didn't even ask for a dime from me.

These other guys in this report are make a mockery to the force. They should be suspended.
