Cross River governor, Ben Ayade as appointed a 19-year-old boy has his Personal Assistant (PA) on technical affairs.

Louis Okon, a 19-year-old has become the youngest political appointee in Nigeria after the Cross River State Governor, Ben Ayade, appointed him Personal Assistant on Technical (Data Management) Affairs.

Okon was amongst the additional 427 aides appointed by Governor Ayade in Calabar on Monday. Those appointed include chairmen and members of boards of agencies as well as special assistants.

Following the death of the chief of staff to the president, Abba Kyari, the president may appoint a personal secretary instead of a new chief of staff, a new report has found.

President Muhammadu Buhari can opt for a personal secretary to replace the late Abba Kyari if he is not disposed to appointing a new Chief of Staff.

This was made known by retired Brig. General Jones Arogbofa, a former chief of staff to ex-president Goodluck Jonathan.

Arogba said no law compels President Buhari to appoint a new chief of staff after losing Kyari to Coronavirus (COVID-19) last week Friday.

The retired general stated these while appearing as a guest on Channels TV’s ‘Politics Today’ on Thursday.

“Legally, the President can afford not to appoint another CoS, he may decide to use a personal secretary,” Arogbofa said in response to a question asked by the anchor, Seun Okinbaloye.

Arogbofa however said if the president must appoint a replacement for Kyari, he must “Look for people who have the qualifications, people who are flexible, people who have the ability to get the job done.”

Also responding to a question on why some people refer to the chief of staff as the de facto president of the federation, the retired general said: “Anywhere in the world, the Chief of Staff is powerful. Anybody who controls human and material resources for an organisation is surely powerful.”

This is not a post intended to harm opera news or do anything bad
I'm thinking of stopping this Opera news and focus on nairaland. Is better I'm not paid here on nairaland than the kind of rejection u get after cracking your brain to write something meaning. Each article must be atleast 150 words like those letters we were forced to write in waec.

In my opinion Opera news should have an appeal button. As nairaland have a mail mods option where u can atleast appeal and Express your mind as a human being.

Those doing opera news please share your views as we are all bloggers. How are you coping.


My own two worst experiences.
1. Tb Joshua raised a dead man but cannot heal Coronavirus
I took time to watch the video by Emmanuel tv how tb Joshua raised a dead man. I watched that video for over 30 minutes I took screenshots from the video took details. Constructed my write up saying if tb Joshua can raised this dead man as reported in their video why not a corona patient guess what rejected for clickbait twice. How is it clickbait when my content was my post.


2. Nnamdi Kanu look alike in parents burial I was the only person on social media to get that photo. Dont ask how I got it. If u doubt check the time I posted it on nairaland and check any other blog mine was first.
Before I posted that picture on nairaland I posted it several times and got rejected on opera news for useless reasons see screenshots below. Out of fraustration I posted it on nairaland some bloggers took it to opera news and hit over 200 comments. Got paid.

See screenshots of the two post that took me time to write and analyze that was rejected anyhow.

This has forced many to abandoned their accounts
