A researcher, better known as Christopher West has revealed that having sex could ignite some sort of connection with divinity in us as human beings.

“God, Sex and The Meaning of Life”, he says sex releases a chemical that is vital love and affection sharing.

The chemical, oxytocin, is said to play an important role in social bonding, sexual reproduction in both sexes, and during and after childbirth, is also known as the “hug hormone” and “cuddle chemical,” in a Semester talk delivered by Christopher West, it entitled.

First discovered by an English pharmacologist and physiologist, Sir Henry Dale in 1906, Oxytocin occurs naturally within humans and is stimulated during sex, childbirth, and breastfeeding.

Now, scientists at the North Carolina university in America say it could also incite spirituality in men too.

65 people have been confirmed dead after a train fire was ignited by gas cooker explosion on board, Brainnews report.

As many as 65 people have lost their lives in Pakistan after a packed passenger train blew up and burst into flames.

Metro UK report says the train erupted in a fireball after a gas canister being used to cook food exploded. Officials have said many more people are injured, some in a critical condition.

The fire destroyed three of the train’s carriages near the town of Rahim Yar Khan in the south of Punjab province.

‘Two cooking stoves blew up. They were cooking, they had (cooking) oil which added fuel to fire,’ minister for Railways Sheikh Rashid Ahmed told Geo TV.

‘Most deaths occurred from people jumping off the train,’ he added.

Punjab health minister Dr Yasmin Rashid told AFP that more than 40 injured people were being transported to local hospitals.

Authorities have warned the death toll could still rise, with the military drafted in to help rescue efforts. People sneaking stoves onto trains in order to prepare meals on long journeys is a common problem, the minister said.

Eleven people were killed in an accident in July and four in another accident in September.

The national leader of the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has reacted to the verdict of the Supreme Court ruling which upheld Buhari‘s victory.

Tinubu has called on the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, to use the same energy and tenacity he used to pursue the legal process towards teaming up with the APC for a better national building process.

A drama has ensured between a Twitter user and Church Of Satan on the social media platform.

The Church of Satan on Twitter has replied a curious Twitter user who reached out to the organization over how to become a member of the Illuminati sect adding he intends to get rich.

While replying to the user, the controversial organization advised him that ‘Illuminati’ basically means ‘enlightened’ and as such the user needs to read books and educate himself.

Top blogger, author, motivational speaker and digital marketing enthusiast Promise Excel has died, Brainnews report.

The Port Harcourt based blogger died in the early hours of Saturday from a persistent heart disease which resurfaces every two years.

The news of his death was revealed by his closed friends on Saturday, October 26.

He had been battling a health challenge (heart disease) for close to a month now, till he gave up the ghost.

According to a Brainnews source, earlier this year, his blog maverickexcel.com was hijacked by unknown persons.

“You graced this stage like a Don. We rallied and fought for your health as the curtains were closing. We didn’t fail you, Promise Excel, but I’m lost for words. I’m terribly hurt, man. Good night, my bright star,” Emeka Nobis who paid tribute to him, wrote.

A Chinese man has married his late fiancee’s dead body during her funeral, Brainnews report.

35-year-old, Xu Shinan, a Chinese national has married his partner’s corpse during her funeral to show his love for her after she lost her battle with breast cancer.

The heart-broken groom, Xu, hoped that the wedding ceremony could realise his late fiancée’s dream of being a bride.

According to a local report, Xu’s deceased partner of 12 years, Yang Liu, was dressed in a white bridal gown and surrounded by 169 bouquets pink roses when Xu read his wedding vows to her.

The special ceremony took place on Saturday morning in the funeral parlour of Dalian in eastern China.

It was witnessed by the families and friends of the couple.

‘Wife, please don’t worry! For me, the rest of my life will be in pain, but I will not give up,’ Xu said.

Daily Mail UK report reveals that Yang died on October 14 at the age of 34 after battling with cancer for five and a half years.

Xu said he had stayed by the side of Yang’s body 24 hours a day for seven days since her death, which is folklore in China to pay respect to the departed.

‘My wife used to say that nobody was allowed to cry should she die. I was holding back my tears on the day, but when [her body] was sent for cremation, I couldn’t fight it anymore,’ Xu said.

The couple’s story was featured in a recent report by Dalian Evening News.

According to the newspaper, Xu and Yang were university classmates.

The minister of information, Lai Mohammed, has said he stands by his earlier comment that Boko Haram has been technically defeated, Brainnews report.

The minister made this known on Monday when he visited the headquarters of The Sun newspaper in Lagos.

According to Mohammed, his comments about Boko Haram being technically defeated was based on what he saw on the ground when he led a team of local and international journalists to Maiduguri.

“I stand by what I said that Boko Haram is technically defeated. What we are having today is global terrorism where you have the ISIS, ISWAP Al-Qaeda all working together,” Mohammed said.

“Terrorism is a global issue. Between 2009 and 2015 we were fighting Boko Haram, but today we are fighting global terrorism where the remnants of the Army in Syria are now joining hands with the ISWAP and others.

“I was on ground in Bama, Konduga and Maiduguri and I know what I saw before I made that claim. We are fighting global terrorism and that is why we are appealing to our foreign partners, especially the UN and our neighbours.

“By the time we get more platforms and the new helicopters that are being expected there will be a tremendous improvement,” he said.

On fake news, he said, “Fake news and hate speech pose as imminent threat to the survival of the nation’s existence. The purveyors of Siamese twins of evil must be checkmated and government will continue to engage to end the menace,” he said.

“We expect you to remain in the vanguard of the efforts to tackle fake news and hate speech. We expect you to educate our people on the efforts being made, especially by the government, in this regard.”
