Kreesxxx: Bros the default page of Islam as written in the Quoran is kill and destruction. Muhammad had issues with Christians and Jews he came in contact with. And with his limited knowledge the only religions he knew then were Christians and Jews that is Judaism. He contended in them in several ways. One was his request for either the Jews or Christians to recognise him as a prophet. The Jews outrightly rejected this including the Christians. This is the particular reason of his perpetual enmity he had with both Christians and Jews he referred to as People of the Book. There will never be peace between Muslims and Christians/Jews. It is am injunction as written in the Quoran for Muslims to never be friends with Christians and Jews. It is only moderation and understanding that is making some enlightened Muslims to overlook this injunction physically but they contribute money in alternative to pursue this 'holy' cause in the form of Jihad. So this is where some Muslims elites are being accused of sponsoring terrorism. They contribute alms to sponsor Jihad in line with the dictate of Quoran. If you can't by yourself contribute money to its cause for those who can. Thanks for the enlightenment. I mean _this clearly wipes out the notion of "live and let's live" |

Kreesxxx: Those terrorists are carrying out the injunction of Quoran. Before a Muslim you are only allowed to live only if you are a fellow Muslim or you live a subjugated life. Anything other than this is death. I still believe there are extremists in all religion. Cus I know practicing Muslims who aren't as violent as these terrorists. Is it that the Muslims over here haven't read the Qur'an to the point where this alleged "instructions" are given? Or do we have 2 Qur'ans? |
Politics › Re: Why US Missile Parts Landed In Offa Instead Of Sokoto by Mrxs: 11:00am On Dec 28, 2025 |
Kreesxxx: I have always said this. People have the right to practice their religion. If US is going to be a problem to the north practicing their religion let them just have a country of their own. In this way nobody has the right to dictate to them how they should practice their religion. Freedom Arewa . Islamic Republic of Shari'a Arewa. Motto: Shari'a Reigns Supreme I don't think the US bombed our northern brothers because of their "Muslim" religion. They bombed terrorists residing in the north. If we were to go with ur thoughts, Its obvious Kano state would be a better pick to Sokoto, going by the vast number of Muslim residents. It's not a religious war bro. We all can coexist, Live and let's live. |

Its not the way Ur seeing it. My boss was the one that even came about the burning idea. But he was advised not to. And he knows am on nairaland so he asked me to seek for broader advice. There is no space in the shop to keep it. Even the corner it is now , rain has started dropping on it, and it was carved from floater wood which means it will some rott. All am asking is what should we do peradventure the man comes and finds out that the things has spoiled. Am d one at the receiving end now cus my boss sometimes blames me for allowing the man to go. Also keeping the thing in our packing store is not a good idea at all because of the smell it's emitting as a result of the things they applied on it before bringing it. Tnx for Ur reply anyway. |

Pls Mods. Help me to push this piece to fp. for more audience. Hlo everyone. I really need your advice on how to go about this. Earlier February this year, on a faithful Saturday. My boss wasn't around as I was the only one in the shop(furniture shop). A huge, dark man came down from a bike, carrying a 500kg bag with some objects inside. When he entered the shop, he asked for my boss and I told him he wasn't around. He then inquired if we are into wood carving, then I told him "yes". (At this point he hasn't brought out the content in the bag). He sat down, opened the bag, brought out 3 wooden crocodiles with different colours wrapped with a white material. That was when I knew that those were things U can only find when you visit a native doctor. One of the crocodiles hand was broken and another has a broken jaw. We don't really carve things like that but since he said he was going to wait for my boss, I decided to keep shut. It wasn't up to 2mins, this man got up and said he was going to buy something just across the road and he will be right back. And that was it. Before he went, he asked if those things were safe there and I told him yes . Till this day 9th August 2024 , I haven't set my eyes on that son of man... So when my boss came , I narrated everything to him , so he instructed that the things should be kept at the corner of the shop. And that's where it has been since then. But my concern is that it's almost spoiling. Should I burn it , throw it away or what... Because from all indications, it seems he has abandoned it for us. Some months after, bees invaded our shop and later went back on their own. You know this is Nigeria, many superstitious believes. ... Below is the screenshot. ..pls all I need is advice.. |

Am pleading on d mods to help push dis to FP, so I can get broader audiences tnx. Good morning nairalanders, pls am kind of in d middle of a crossroad between two opinions here. A week ago, my dads former apprentice who traveled out to "porto-Novo " called him. He told him to get on WhatsApp, that he wants to inform him of something. This guy told my dad how he was being paid 350euros weekly, and dat they only work from 8am-2pm(mondays -Fridays). He said there is vacancy in his own slot and he would like me to come over, since my dad has helped him. He said d name of the company is "BERNARD H. MAYER ", that they deal with men/women jewelries, hospital equipment etc. And that I'll go through 2months, 2wks training in "porto-Novo ", of which I'll b paid 350euros weekly during the training. He said after the training, the company is going to post me in any of their 50 branches around d world. And that the company is going to take care of my accommodation and feeding. Right now, he said the total money am going to spend will be 620k. Of which I'll pay 20k first, so he'll acquire and process my application form, then I'll now pay d balance of 600k and start coming. Am willing to go, but am in doubt. Because my dad spoke to one of my uncles about it, and he strictly advice my dad not to send me on such movement. Claiming he knew several people who went for something like that and most of them ended up coming back. He told my dad that d accommodation in question is like a big warehouse where we'll all b packed, as if we're in a camp. He said we won't b given freedom of movement etc. Which contradicts all that d guy has said. Am really confused as to which to believe. Lastly I asked d guy what means of trans. am I going to use. He said I'll have to get to Lagos, Cuz I stay i n Port Harcourt. From Lagos, the company is now going to take over, and dat we'll b going by land to "porto-Novo"(which he claimed is the training ground). Am led to post this here because I know nairaland is made up of men and women of experiences. If it hasn't happen to u, maybe u might know someone who traveled out through similar means. Am open to all your replies pertaining this issue, tnx. My question still remains, IS IT LEGIT? |

Christianity Etc › Re: One Question You Must Ask Yourself Before You Eat The Forbidden Fruit by Mrxs: 2:12pm On Aug 07, 2022 |
jesusjnr2020: One Question You Must Ask Yourself Before You Eat The Forbidden Fruit
"After eating the forbidden fruit, what next?"
Because it's usually regret that follows, hence that's one question we must ask ourselves beforehand, when the urge to eat it becomes so strong as though we won't survive or would die if we didn't eat it.
What next, after we've eaten of it?
What next, after we finally got a taste of that which we so desperately craved?
Would it be worth the trouble?
Would the hype or craving prior to eating it meet up with what follows?
The most deceptive about forbidden fruits is that beforehand it makes people feel like it's the solution to their problems in life, so once they got a taste of it, all their problems would be solved. So they'd damn all the consequences, however only to end up bitterly disappointed afterwards, when their eyes suddenly become opened to the realization that the forbidden fruit wasn't what it appeared to be.
That's how Adam and Eve got us to this miserable point we found ourselves. Of all the fruits in the garden of Eden which God had given them freedom to eat, it was the one which God commanded them not to touch that they thought they couldn't survive without.
But guess what? They finally tasted of that fruit they desperately desired, but after that, what next?
Regrets, regrets, and more regrets as their eyes became open to realize the craving wasn't worth it.
The woman who thought it would solve her problems, was now filled with regret knowing she had been deceived by the lying serpent. Genesis 3:13
The man who was so proud of the woman after God gave her to him, that he called her "the bone of my bones" and "flesh of my flesh" now saw her as the enemy and a stranger, calling her "the woman you gave me." Genesis 2:23, 3:12.
The forbidden fruit at the time meant just one thing to Adam and Eve. It was the fruit of the tree of knowledge of good and evil which God had commanded not to eat of after He made them in the beginning.
Today it means a lot things, but it was from that one thing in the beginning, even the forbidden fruit that Adam and Eve ate that all of them emerged. The forbidden fruit was the seed they sowed into their lives in the beginning which brought about that harvest of forbidden fruits we have today.
So was it worth eating the fruit?
All the consequences, the sufferings, the regrets, the pain, the poverty, the enmity, the complications, the famines, the disasters, the diseases, the deaths, etc?
The next time we find ourselves in a situation where it appears as though we cannot survive without eating the forbidden fruit, let's ask ourselves the question, after we've done that, what next?
Although yours may not have the kind of widespread and devastating impact the sin of Adam and Eve had on humanity, there are still damning consequences for any and every forbidden fruit that is eaten, so it's important that before we make those defining decisions we ask ourselves such a question, so we don't do things in a brief moment that would make us live in regret for the rest of our lives.
God bless. |
