Ishilove: Some people find their "soulmate" after they get married.
This is not a justification for adultery though. Exactly.. some people just hurriedly get hitched because of some factors like age, economy, convenience, etc without deeply reflecting or being totally convinced that they can be with the other person after the whole razzmatazz dies down |

I understand their exotic look because they are mixed. We have a lot of beautiful dark-skinned females in this country. Ghana too. Right...the beauty ain't even extra ordinary. Lots of regular light skin girls out there more beautiful than these girls.. |

Mrchippychappy: Old Nollywood had substance. Poor production but you were glued to the story, even back then when you pretended to be disinterested in the story all in the name of being a tough guy, you go still dey use one eye dey watch.
Now they brought in too much cooperate money, everything from Jenifa and the new Nollywood feels like an hour long commercial, Globacom sticker everywhere, supermarket being promoted, Infinix logo having more screen time than most of the actors. Social media influencers randomly showing up for pointless cameo appearance that are totally irrelevant to the story
Abeg take us back to the old nollywood, living in bondage, evil men, rattle snake, Oracle, Orasi-iyi, Igodo, Osoufia Hahaha...that your first paragraph got me. I remember how we acted tough like watching naija movies was an "abomination" and made us feel local. Only the ladies in the house were watching but we dey carry "one eye" looke true true like you said.. |

Faith is a complete trust, confidence, or firm belief in a person, idea, or religion, often without tangible proof. It also signifies loyalty to a person or cause.

SixSeven: That's unfair and while they all tout security this and that, it is a way of making the industry keep getting funds. I wait for EU to step in. Microsoft is notorious for these changes which are all to make us spend more. Messaging should not be this hard. WhatsApp today is no longer simple, just complex like you're on IG. I hope someone else introduces another simple app. If it was the simple things we used to have on WhatsApp, we would not need these updates but now only WhatsApp: 1. Challenge stickers 2. Status updates from pages (WhatsApp was supposed to be for your closed circle) 3. Group video calls (WhatsApp can now do zoom type calls) 4. All, Unread, Favorites, Groups, Updates, Comminites, Lists etc 5. Status Views that are influenced by algorithm. Before you will just view status based on time of post, now, chat with someone, the next thing is to see their status next. The status view is now like the endless scroll online. All these things of course will make us upgrade it. I always knew Meta buying WhatsApp will create a bad experience because to them, you are just metadata
We didn't ask for these things, they made something simple difficult to use. Agree with you...they've made whatssap too busy and unnecessarily cumbersome. That satus ehn.. |

Well said...Honestly Arsenal are causing their own problems. Playing too cautiously afraid to loose like they are not chasing glory. The worse part is that playing cautiously but still loosing the game. Why not play openly to their attacking strenght? It's such a pity if Arsenal allow this City side to overtake them and win the league. They are not special like previous Guardiola City sides. See how Chelsea and ripping them...smh |

Romance › Re: Any Woman Here Who Wants A Child But Not The Stress Of Marriage Or Cohabitation? by Mryacks: 2:39am On Mar 23 |
mumanex: I'll go straight to the point because I respect your time. I am a 40 year old Nigerian man, settled, responsible, and clear about what I want from life. I have thought deeply about this and I am not writing out of desperation or confusion. This is a deliberate decision.
I want to have a child. I am fully prepared to be present, involved, and financially responsible for that child. I do not take that lightly.
However I am not interested in marriage or cohabitation. Not because I am running from responsibility, but because I have genuinely examined my life and I know that I function best with my independence and my peace. I believe a forced or unhappy home does more damage to a child than an honest, structured arrangement between two mature adults.
What I am looking for is a woman who: ● Wants to be a mother but is not desperate for a husband
● Is independent, stable, and self-aware Values her own space and privacy as much as I value mine
● Is honest enough to have a real conversation about what she actually wants from life ,not what society expects her to want
● Is open to a respectful, structured co-parenting arrangement where both parties are clear from the start
I will be involved in my child's life consistently. I will provide. I will show up. I just will not be living under the same roof or wearing a ring.
I understand this is not for everyone and I am not trying to convince anyone. If your dream is a church wedding and a husband who comes home every night, I genuinely wish you that, this post is simply not for you.
But if you have ever quietly felt that the traditional script does not fit your personality, your past, or your current reality and you want a child in a honest, pressure-free environment then maybe we have something worth discussing privately.
I am open to a genuine conversation. No games, no time wasting.
Drop a comment or send a DM if this resonates. Properly presented.... |

davidtemi: Boh of them are right.
The younger brother went in search of better life, hustle, but didn't make it and returned as a "learner" - he must have learnt 1 or 2 from outside Incase of next time.
The older one is not in any way moved by the noise on the social media and stay at home because he still can not handle things on his own without shame after all its his father's house As simple as that...the only thing for me is that there is no need for him to 'mock' the younger one. But I agree with you mahn |

dequir: Even with one player down, Chelsea continued to put pressure on Arsenal till the end. Though they lost, they certainly impressed me as a strong club. All these kind of talks are convenient excuses for teams who loose games. It use to be said to Arsenal back then when they loose matches (that they play well, tiki taka bla bla blah)...guess what, rival fans and pundits always mock them that it is only 3points that matter. In fact, last season Arsenal draw with Man City at the Etihad with ten men right from the first half and they were still mocked for playing draw.... So what are my saying, the same principles should be applied without bias to each situation no matter the team involved. Not selective amnesia like most rival fans and pundits do especially towards Arsenal Anyway, well played Chelsea |
