Many job vacancies have between 1 to 3 years experience added to the actual number required. So I think it's safe to apply for a 5 year experience job when you have 3 and you know the job. Sometimes someone with only 2 years experience can perform better than someone with 4 or 5 years experience - it all depends on the individual. |
@assisttohire too much information like what? Give examples please. |
I hope someone who had access to applicants' contact did not play a prank. How sure are we that the message is from NRC? People use bulk sms these days and specify the sender. The message sounds so informal. If it's true, good luck to those that were invited. I also applied but yet to receive anything so I'll keep my fingers crossed on this one. |
Dollars the accountant you sent 'Am a graduate of Accounting' instead of 'I am a graduate of Accounting'. Many candidates had their applications rejected because of errors like this. Good luck though. |
No mind them jare ![]() yusufbala2010: |
But I don't work there na. Neither do I know someone who was invited personally. mekyno777: |
When does DPR contact candidates for invitation to interview or test? Is it a day, a week before or few days before? Is this normally via phone call, text message or email? |
May be you're making a mistake with your email or password or their site finds something suspicious about your browser, network (ip address) or something like that. Try clearing all cache, history, cookies and temporary internet files or better still use a different browser. Avoid trying too many times in quick succession or desperately if login fails. If all these fails, write to them or to the website technicians. Wait oh, are you sure you didn't apply twice? Did you complete the application and uploads correctly? Go back and check your records very well. Sit down and recall all you've done and all that happened since you first made contact. It could be that your profile was reviewed and a decision was made to block you or they are even trying to change your status to successful or approved. So chill and pray about it. Good luck! friidA22: |
Graduates may not be interviewed but it is still possible sha. |
Well, I wouldn't know but the experienced ones were invited. May be they had an aptitude test, interview or both. Chinexd22nd: |
The recruitment this time around may not be as long as the previous one. Much sooner than expected, hopefully. |
Everyone wants info but when someone brings one, it's either falsification or insult. Haba! The fact that experienced candidates were invited was true. Graduates next but I can't say when exactly. I heard this from a reliable source. If you like, believe. If you like, don't. As for the cbt test, I don't think the experienced ones are excluded. The test is a means of identifying the right candidates and filtering out garbage applications. I don't mean to make someone feel bad but if you're experienced and you were not invited just keep praying for sth to happen. For graduates, pray to be invited also. Cheers. |
How would wearing uniform improve upon the economic situation or lives of the people? I support the CG because some politicians think they can do what they like and have what they want anytime, anywhere, anyhow and from anybody. The right thing to do is to be assertive and prove such people wrong. What I know for sure that if you are under pressure for (a) silly reason(s) as a political office holder in Nigeria, then you are most likely doing the right thing!!! |
Some people can be foolish sha. I wonder what happened to N1000 naira notes that someone is using N50 denominations despite knowing several millions are involved. |
It's either you begin to prepare to come to Abj if they call you or you forfeit the whole thing! I guess Lagos slots are filled up thats why. As for me, even if they change my centre to Bayelsa or Borno I WILL GO and not complain, despite the fact that I stay in Abj. I selected Abuja for both preferred and alternate centre and everything seems fine AlexisM16: |

Guy, chill first. I'm very sure of what I said. When I submitted finally, it went through successfully when all my details were complete and the 'submit and print' button disappeared meaning I can no longer make changes or resubmit. To my surprise when I logged back in this morning, the status is now 'pending-successful application', no higher institution info and I can edit my details again. Not only that, the 'submit and print' button came back! It's just like I didn't even submit the first time. So I updated my higher institution details once again and clicked that button! Now I can't edit and the submit button is gone! I just hope the button won't find its way back into my profile again. Unfortunately, no drink for you It's not greed, just the 'Buhariyya' situation Mekyno: |
Roon9: "Hello everyone, I submitted and got my ref number but ryt now I can't find my details no more. Anyone experiencing this?" msb247: "You are not alone on this one! Keep checking at intervals but do not make the mistake of Roon9: "OK boss. Tnx" Zirah: "Why can't he fill in? You re-fill your form to update your details by using the save and continue button. What he shouldn't do is click SUBMIT." Please take note! In addition, my details disappeared but everything came back with 'pending-successful application' as the new status. So check again, your profile should be there now. |
BIG PROBLEM!!! After submitting successfully and receiving an email with a link to print exam slip, I logged back in after a few days to discover that my status changed from 'Pending' to 'Pending - Successful Application' BUT: -my higher institution is the only missing info (it was ok when I submitted finally); and -all sections are now editable i.e. I can delete, add or change info from the all sections except preferred and alternate exam centre. -the 'Submit and Print' button is now active again which means I can submit. Now the issue is that: -I am scared of clicking the submit and print button because I did this the first time and it went through. Even though I have now updated the missing info, I fear that submitting again may count as multiple applications which means disqualification - and I don't want that! -If I don't submit again, my mind cannot be at rest because of the word 'pending' and the fact that the button to submit is still active. *Could it be that they reactivated my profile for me to be able to edit and submit again? Someone please help. Talk to me. Advise if you can. |

You may apply as a Mechanical Engineer if you refuse to accept the fact that not all engineering disciplines are required because they were specific and that they would have included Marine if they needed to. Alternatively or additionally, spread your tentacles (if any) and try forwarding a copy of your CV to someone influential and hope for the best. Annauguru24: |
So you actually used someone else's passport for your own application? You better go and prepare the documents to prove that you had a facial metamorphosis or some kind of skin transplant in case you get lucky to be invited.247Dior: |
Thank you Zirah. I actually applied and uploaded my NYSC discharge cert, B.Eng cert and WAEC cert, but without a CV. I came across people discussing about CV so I became worried because I never saw where CV should be uploaded. Zirah: |
alimat216:NO! Please go and apply at a Farm or Ministry of Agriculture. Or better still, become an entrepreneur. You're welcome. ![]() |
Edifyer:Take your time oo! You can't be a graduate trainee and experienced trainee at the same time! Just choose one! ience, apply for graduate if you're less than 30yrs. If not, then you are simply overqualified ![]() Remember, DPR warned everyone not to apply for more than one position. |
Roon9:You are not alone on this one! Keep checking at intervals but do not make the mistake of filling-in or submitting your details again - this will disqualify you. |
ikoyila:You really shouldn't be asking this question. It was clearly stated that the process will run through 6 weeks. Precisely, the date is the 6th of December this year. Oya goan apply but if you know you don't deserve to work there don't even try it cos you may congest their servers for us ![]() |
Oga mi! Since you already have a job, leave this one for others who have none to apply na! Which one you dey sef? ![]() MurphyG1: |
HELP!!! 1. I submitted but didn't include a CV as there was no provision for uploading one, neither was it mentioned in the application guidelines. I also didn't upload any of my other certificates despite the fact that I included them in my application. Will this become a problem for me? 2. Barely 48hours after submitting successfully, I can't fing my profile anymore! When I logged in, a new form was displayed with a WARNING message in red colour NOT to apply again. You guys need to see the speed with which I logged out so as not to get disqualified. 3. I provided 4 references. Is this too small or too much? Thanks as you reply for the benefit of myself and other applicants ![]() |

ATTENTION!!! It seems a lot of applicants are having issues with conversion to a. Pdf format. I won't advice you to use all those converters as most of them are not free and some of them may append watermarks on your final document. Open the .doc or .docx file then go to Save As. Open the drop-down list just below the filename input field and select 'portable document format' (pdf) from the list. This is the best and easiest way to save a pdf document and this also applies to pictures after you must have inserted and adjusted the image to fill the page in a new word document. |

You better go and prepare the documents to prove that you had a facial metamorphosis or some kind of skin transplant in case you get lucky to be invited.
